Everyone needs an attorney on their side. I have been using Owenby Law, P.A. for years because of their knowledge and compassion. Their professionalism and wisdom for my special needs has been sought after and greatly appreciated. Their knowledge of the judicial system helps me make informed and quality decisions that concern me. Their attention to detail and kind demeanor is what makes me feel comfortable talking with them about personal and confidential issues. Because of them, I am at peace knowing I have the best attorney working for me.

I hired Owenby Law, P.A. as my attorney. At first she seemed very helpful and fair. I had paid $2000 of the retainer when the other party dismissed the case meaning my attorney had only filed a motion to dismiss at the time. Under the circumstances, Owenby Law, P.A. told me that with my case she had only earned $2000 of the $3000 retainer and was not going to charge me the following two payments and the case was closed. I received another charge on my credit card so I reached out to Owenby Law, P.A. letting her know I got an additional charge and her response was, "Oh no! I will speak with billing today to get that resolved!" I was then contacted by the billing department and was told that regardless of what she said I will still be charged the additional $1000 and when I asked to speak with Owenby Law, P.A. they told me I was not allowed to and refused to transfer me to her because my case was closed even though I am still paying for this attorney. She is now not responding to my emails. I am highly disappointed with the unprofessionalism and lies. Do not hire her!

If you need an attorney, I would definitely suggest going through Owenby Law. If you do, ask for *** Block. This man should be the gold standard for attorneys: Prompt communication, honest opinions, attentive to your needs, and a fierce advocate, especially when children are involved. I can never thank this man or this firm enough for helping me with what eventually became a rather nasty divorce. Because of Mr. Block's thoughtful planning, skilled deduction of opposing strategy, and calm, caring demeanor, we were able to get the case resolved with minimal stress.

This law firm took three months to draw up an initial uncontested divorce. It put me in a much bigger mess with my soon to be ex. I am on disability and they were fully aware of my income. I signed the agreement to pay $500 a month. I ended up paying $2,000 a month and still had to hire a different lawyer to get anything moving on my case. I have paid well over $5,000 for rough draft uncontested divorce papers, more of a mess, and I had to hire a new lawyer to get anything done. AND they still feel that I should pay more for NOTHING. I would recommend staying far away!
