Last year, I had a knee replacement by Dr G and he did a great job. This year, I had another knee replacement and my knee was really messed up from having three other surgeries and bad arthritis. But Dr G did an amazing job again. He made my knee almost normal again. I would tell all my union friends to go to him. He's a really good doctor and he tells it like it is.

I went to Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates LLP for rehab on 2/9. They told me my insurance would cover everything and I wouldn't have to pay anything. I had 3 appointments there. But now, 5 months later, I got a bill in the mail for $433! I called their customer service and the lady on the phone was so rude! She said I should have known what my insurance covers. I asked for a supervisor, but she said there's no one else to talk to. This is not right! They should have told me they would check with my insurance first and then let me know what I have to pay. They shouldn't have said everything is covered and then send me a bill for almost $500! It's not professional!

I went to Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates LLP for an ankle injury in March . They asked me to pay $40 before seeing the doctor, which I did. I had a follow-up appointment on April 15, and was not asked to pay a deductible. I was surprised to receive a bill for ***, as I have never paid for a follow-up appointment before. I complained to my insurance provider, but they said I had to pay. I paid under protest on August 12th, and Orlin and Cohen cashed the check on August 16th. I received another bill on September 1st, but when I called the collection office, they said they received the money but didn't know if my account was settled. The whole experience was terrible, and they charged me $25 for an x-ray, which I had taken at another facility that day. When I asked why they couldn't get a copy from them, they said they didn't have time.

I went to Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates LLP for Cortisone shots in both my hands because of my carpal tunnel. I'm a union ***, and I was hoping to get some relief. But, the experience was terrible. The doctor and office manager were very disrespectful, and I didn't get the services I needed. I knew something was wrong because of the pain, but they didn't believe me. I've had this shot before, and I know my body best. It's been more than three months, and I'm still trying to get my co-pay refunded. Their billing company, *** in ***, *** and ***, , has been unhelpful. Even my insurance investigated and found that I was right, but they still won't refund me. I left their office in excruciating pain and couldn't work the next day. Don't go to this doctor or office.

I gave my new doc permission to get my whole medical file from Orlin & Cohen. This includes all the notes from my visits, pain management reports, physical therapy notes, MRI results, and X-rays. I've been going there since 2015. I saw Dr. G once and Dr. Y a bunch of times. I also had some injections and physical therapy. My new doc's office had trouble getting the file, but eventually talked to Garrett. He sent an incomplete file twice, even though I'm supposed to get the whole thing for free. We asked for an electronic copy, but still didn't get everything. Dr. Y could always see everything on the computer, so it should be easy to send. If I don't get what I need, I'll complain to the Department of Health & Human Resources.

I went to this bone doctor in December for a sciatica problem. I had been there before without any issues. The doctor said I needed physical therapy, so I did a few sessions. They never told me how much it would cost, and I had to pay for each session separately. I didn't know that I had to pay for everything because I hadn't reached my insurance deductible yet. If they had told me, I would have only done a few sessions. Instead, they added more sessions and charged me a lot of money. I think they did this on purpose to get more money from me. I lost my job before I went there, and I told them, but they still charged me a lot of money. When I tried to fix the problem, they didn't help me and told me to wait. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't do things the right way.
