Orbitz review: Website didn't disclose correct rules for check in

To Whom It May Concern
I have an issue about the Red Roof Inn at 5001 Renner Road Columbus Ohio. Can someone please call me about the issue? I would like to speak with someone before taking further action. I don't feel as if anyone is listening to me.

Amanda, an employee at this location, listed us as a 'No Show' for our reserved room November 19, 2020. We were there and tried checking in but since we didn't have a major credit; that she would have to cancel our reservation. I understand there are rules but nowhere on Orbitz's website does it state a major credit card is REQUIRED. Actually it states that a credit card MAY be required. (see screenshot below) We just want our money back since we didn't stay there, November 19, 2020. I understand that Red Roof Inn has us as a No Show. But you believe them when they state we was a No Show. We're your customer, why not believe us when we state we was there and tried checking in. Can you ask someone at the hotel to review the camera from this night and see that we were there and attempted to check in? I would be so appreciative because I know it would prove that we were there and that we were NOT a No Show.

I guess I just think that Orbitz should be here to protect us and help us. We paid you for a service, so my thought is you should refund my money to me and then you research if Red Roof Inn isn't being truthful. Do you really want to do business with a business that does things like this? If this continues to happen to multiple people, you'll continue to lose business. Please believe me, we were there. We was NOT a No Show.

Plus, Orbitz look at the attachment. This was pulled from your website. Your policy even states that a credit card MAY be required, not that one is REQUIRED. Orbitz is part wrong in this situation because if Orbitz's website stated that a Credit Card was REQUIRED, then I would have never reserved this room and we wouldn't be in this situation. So Orbitz is part wrong in this and I feel we deserve our money back, not just because its the right thing to do (someone shouldn't have to pay for a service that wasn't rendered) but because as a consumer I didn't do anything wrong.

Thank you,
