To Whom It May Concern,
One.com Compliance & Customer Relations Department
Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Data Breach, Misuse of Company Data, and
Unauthorized Access to Digital Assets
I, Derek Lewis, CEO of NEX SOURCE DIGITAL, am formally submitting this complaint to document, escalate, and seek immediate corrective action regarding a series of serious violations committed by One.com relating to our company’s data, digital assets, and hosted web services.
Over the past several months, NEX SOURCE DIGITAL has encountered repeated incidents involving:
1. Unauthorized access and misuse of our company’s data, including information stored within
our hosting environment.
2. Misappropriation and unexplained interference with our web space, files, and hosted
domains under One.com’s control.
3. Unapproved changes and access patterns inconsistent with authorized administrative activity.
4. Failure to safeguard sensitive company data, exposing us to significant operational and security risks.
These actions collectively indicate a data breach and violation of basic data-protection obligations.
Violation of Data Protection Standards
Based on the circumstances, One.com’s handling of our information appears to violate critical legal and regulatory standards, including but not limited to:
• The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — specifically
o Article 5(1)(f), requiring integrity and confidentiality of personal and stored data,
o Article 32, requiring appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure
security of data processing, and
o Article 33, outlining obligations to promptly notify data controllers when a breach
occurs.By failing to properly secure and manage our digital assets and by potentially allowing unauthorized
access and misuse, One.com has acted in clear conflict with these requirements.
Customer Service Misconduct and Negligence
In addition to the data breach concerns, the customer service provided by One.com has been grossly
inadequate. Our attempts to resolve these issues have been met with:
• Slow and dismissive responses,
• Repeated redirection without resolution,
• Lack of accountability or transparency, and
• No formal acknowledgment of the severity of the breach or service failures.
This level of neglect has caused operational delays, loss of confidence in your service, and potential damage to our business reputation.
Requested Actions
NEX SOURCE DIGITAL hereby demands the following:
1. A full internal investigation into all unauthorized access and misuse of our data and domains.
2. A written explanation detailing the cause, scope, and timeline of the breach.
3. Immediate corrective and preventive measures to ensure compliance with GDPR and other
applicable data-security regulations.
4. Confirmation of responsibility, including acknowledgment of negligence where applicable.
5. A direct communication channel with a senior compliance or security officer—not standard customer service representativesConclusion
This complaint serves as formal notice that NEX SOURCE DIGITAL expects immediate and
corrective action. Should One.com fail to address these matters promptly, we reserve the right to escalate
this issue to governing regulatory authorities overseeing data protection and commercial service practices.
We expect your written response within 7 business days of receiving this notice.
Sincerely,
Derek Lewis
CEO, NEX SOURCE DIGITAL
