I employed Blue Whale Media to redesign my website. I phoned them and said that I had no idea how to chose between all the offerings online. Gary Sweeney was very helpful and talked me through the website, introduced me to his wife online (a staff member) and his dog. I was suckered! He would not lift a finger before I stumped up 100% of the fee upfront. They then took many months, coming back from time to time with proofs. I spent many hours going through all the documents and every time they were full of many, many mistakes, and each time they 'corrected' them, there were different mistakes. It was tortuous and I was treated as if I was being demanding and unreasonable. The wife was like an attack dog and they play 'good cop', 'bad cop'. Most unpleasant and unprofessional. The kicker was that when we got to the stage where I agreed the text would have to do, and asked them to attend to the meat of the issue, which was the redesign I had asked them to do, Mr Sweeney told me that that was it. 'Redesign' to them mean doing the design work behind the scenes (and of which I have zero evidence). So I did not got any redesign at all. I then had to stump up a further £594 on top of the extortionate initial fee, in order to get them to put the site on my hosting site. They were absolutely appalling and unethical.

We contacted Bluewhale media in warrington to have a website built, we agreed to a price of £6700 and was told the website would take 8 weeks to develop. We paid 70% upfront which did have us a little worried but as he seemed genuine we paid the money. This was 5 months ago and we still havent got a website and Bluewhale media has stopped taking our calls or answering our emails. We visited there office and was threatened by the owner Gary Sweeney we are now taking him through the courts with the hope of having this SCAM company closed. Please beware of this scam company and the owner gary sweeney.
