I was happy to find Ombre to help me with my SIBO/SIFO and gut health concerns through fecal biome analysis. It seemed a good deal. I purchased a set of three tests. The first test came and went, and eventually (they are slow), I got my data. Useful - I shared it with my Dr. (N.D.), with whom I was working. Time for the 2nd test. Sent it in.
LONG DELAY... finally, I was told the sample was compromised. They were sending me a replacement kit, but there was a long delay, and the package never arrived. I alerted Ombre customer support; they traced it and made excuses about my address being undeliverable (yet I receive packages all day, every day).
LONGER PAUSE. I pressed them, and they said they would send another package out.
LONG PAUSE. Nothing showed up. I contacted support, and they said it was "out for delivery." However, when I checked the package tracking number, it was located somewhere across the US Continent, nowhere near where I am in Oregon. I am doubtful that Ombre will resolve this to my satisfaction -- in fact, we are well beyond that point now. If I ever get this sample received/processed, I will still have a third one to go through this process on to keep some continuity in my testing (the timeline is now completely worthless)
Recommendation: Watch for reviews -- the company support seems sketchy at best.
