Big Jeff Audio

I purchased a Avatar stu-1246 d2ohm subwoofer from Big Jeff Audio on November 26th. The subwoofer arrived marked as a duel 2ohm subwoofer on the. packaging and product. I install the subwoofer on 12/27/2023 after Christmas. The subwoofer played for a short-time and my amplifier overheated and the protection mode come on. After seeing my amplifier was very hot I pulled the subwoofer out to see what could be wrong but I didn't notice anything so check the speakers resistance and found out it was a duel 1ohm subwoofer witch when wired in parallel makes 0.5ohms and will over pull to much power from amplifier and cause it to burn up because my amplifier is made to handle a 1ohm load by a duel 2ohm subwoofer wired parallel to make 1ohm. They either sent a subwoofer with the wrong label or the subwoofer has a defect. I've tried to contact Big jeff audio and they had me fill out some forms and I've never heard anything back. I've tried to contact them several times up till 1/9/2024 I received a email telling me to keep waiting. I do not expect to have to send. the speaker to a warranty company to be fixed because I paid $327 to enjoy a subwoofer. I should not have to keep waiting my purchase was not a loan to them to do whatever.

A strong company that continues to grow. I enjoy working here and I am excited to see what the future holds. There are plenty of good people that work here, and it just makes working here even better. Nothing like a great work life balance when you have a good work family by your side. We get company paid benefits and a ton of perks. By far the best I have worked!

I’ve never been a person to write reviews, but i feel like somethings need to be highlighted. I’ve been with the company almost 2 years and just like any job, you have your differences. But in a relationship, comes compromise and Jeff is an owner that will listen to any idea or complaint you have. No idea is a dumb one.. and if he already tried it, he’ll say “well we can try again” .. i came here for a job, and made a career. we work together as a team, and we lack communication sometimes but in the end, we’ll always double back and make it better. This company will only get bigger and bigger. You cant make everyone happy, so if you shield yourself from us because of 1 bad review, you shielded yourself from an opportunity.

Big Jeff Audio is the bomb! They totally hooked me up with all the speakers and amps I needed for my bike. And get this, they even answered my questions on a Saturday! Can you believe it? Their prices are off the chain!
