Old Republic Home Protection review: Slow, unprofessional, not covering and not paying!

We had a shower pipe leak, and we made a claim for them to come and fix it. It took them about A MONTH and THREE visits from different people to let us know that they will not touch the leaking pipe because they said it there was mold and we need to mitigate the mold first.

After about a year, the other shower started leaking too. Since it takes AT LEAST two weeks for Old Republic to show up (In fact they said they don't have anyone to come) we had a third party to fix the shower leak.

The third-party workers fixed both leaks and had NO problem with the mold. That means, Old Republic worker LIED to us. We were ended up paying almost $3200 for both leaks. When we called Old Republic, they said they would only pay around $350 out of the $3200. It has been TWO MONTHS! that we are waiting for the $350 check and now they say it was not authorized!

I will DEFINITELY not renew my contract with them. They are lazy and unprofessional. They take your money and make ANY trick in the book, so they don't cover your loss.
