Office Depot hp laptop acquired at your store less than a year ago in tucson off irvington

I purchased the computer and your "Tech" team organized it to duplicate my main system as I was in the process of opening a satellite office in California. After about 9 months, the keyboard quit working and I took it to the Manhattan Beach Office Max and was introduced to a "Nerd" who checked it out and reported back that I needed to return it to the Tucson store where it was purchased for fixing. The "Nerd" said he did have a solution and sold another keyboard, which, when attached to the computer, worked. I decided this solution was too difficult to deal with and brought it back to Tucson where, when I made the purchase, signs abounded at about how you "Fix Computers" ...blah blah blah. I showed it to the Tech rep and asked him to check it out. Later he called and said that the warranty required it to be sent to HP and that your store would not facilitate that, even though it was within the standard warranty, because it was outside the 14 day warranty you had when delivered. I picked it up, with disgust, and proceeded home where a neighbor, after hearing the story, asked to take a look. He was a former postal worker and only does computer as a hobby. Five minutes after leaving him, he called and said that he had fixed it. It was a configuration issue that the least technical of us who had any inclination could have fixed. Your store mgr is aware of this but her solution is to say, "I know nothing of this. And, we do not fix computers that is totally false."
Please let me know if this is, indeed, your corporate philosophy on good customer service. Crappy service provided by wholly uneducated and incompetent staff, such as your store manager and the phony "nerd" who waited on me is unacceptable. Each year, I spend a few thousand in that store. Tiffany in the reproductions is a phenom. Without her my business would have been totally lost. I look forward to your reply,

Carl A. Bosse

Office Depot charged for desk, order canceled without knowledge and not delivered

I went to Office Depot #436 on 7/6/18 to look for a desk and chair. I found a desk I wanted to purchase that was on sale, Magellan Corner Desk for $95.99 and a chair, Work Pro for $114.99. The gentleman working told me that the color desk I wanted wasn't on sale (espresso) but the other color (Cherry) was but they didn't have any in stock that I needed to go to another store. I went to Office Depot #95. The manger there, Don, said all of the colors were on sale and he wasn't sure why they sent me all the way there, but he was happy to help. He helped us get the desk and chair delivered to my home. Unfortunately, it charged a delivery fee, which he had waved for us, so he took it off the chair price. Next, the chair rang up at $149 when it was on sale for $114.99 at the other store. Don called the other store and they in fact had the wrong price on the chair but Don honored that price. I left with my receipts and delivery for the chair on 7/9 and desk 7/10.

My chair was delivered as promised on 7/9/18. The desk was to be delivered today, but when I called for ETA, the agent told me it was canceled and I was not charged. I told him I absolutely was charged for both the desk and chair. I had two charges to my account, $90.94 and $145.37. He told me he would set up another delivery and honor the sale price with no delivery charge, all of which I already had. I reiterated, I've already paid for that desk and to wait 2 more days was unacceptable. He said he could not help me that I needed to call the store.

I called the store #95 where I purchased the desk and chair. Don answered the phone and remembered the transactions from 7/6. He said the initial desk was canceled but he had ordered another one. He also said it looked like the chair was canceled, but somehow I got that delivery. He searched via credit card number and receipt number for the new order number, which he gave me. Don was very apologetic.

During this time, I see another charge pop up on my card for $102.71 from Office Depot. The agent had in fact ordered me another desk and debited my account even though I had not approved that. I called customer service back with the new order number and to ask about the new charge. At this point, I have paid for 2 desks yet I don't have one. The agent's name was Brenda. She couldn't find anything with the new order number the store had given me. She said she only saw the canceled order. I was back at square one after an hour.

So as of now, I have paid for 2 desks and do not have one. Brenda told me I "should have" received a credit for the canceled desk. I assured her I had not. She told me to continue to check every day up to 10 days, yet another hassle, if not then call back. I can only imagine how that conversation will go. I will have to go over this whole situation again and have someone try and understand.

Brenda told me the desk "should be" here tomorrow, although couldn't confirm a delivery date. So I am supposed to stay home all day tomorrow with hopes it shows up, just like today. And if it doesn't, I will have to call back, again. This is totally unacceptable.

Office Depot dishonest company that lies to customers

On July 5th, 2018, I ordered Rack cards. When I got to the check out, I realized it said the 19th for delivery date. Knowing I needed the cards by the 10th, I started a chat with someone to see if it was possible. Before I had even ordered, the customer service rep told me that is was possible. From that moment on, it was crap.

After receiving an email the next day with the 19th as the date, I contacted the company again, and was given the run around and told to wait 4 hours for more information. After not being contacted after 4 hours, I reached out again. Again, I was given the run around and told to check in on Monday morning.

When I checked in on the morning of the 9th, I was told again, to wait 4 hours to receive an email. Again, the email was never received.

I chatted with another individual who them confirmed that I could pick up my items the following day and an e-mail would be sent to confirm it.

After not getting a confirmation e-mail, I contacted someone AGAIN, and was told there was no way the order was getting finished by the 10th.

This company is dishonest and has lost all of my business for the companies that I own and I want others to know of their dishonesty. It isn't right.

Office Depot fedex shipping

Went into Office Depot in Fountain Valley, CA ship a package to my grandchildren. It was 3p in the afternoon with two customers in the store. I was told I'd have to wait 30 minutes for "the girl who handles shipping" to return from break. When I asked why and doesn't anyone else know how to process a shipment, the manager told me he knew how but, "there are only two of us here and I have the floor, phones, etc.". I WILL NEVER PATRON OFFICE MAX/OFFICE DEPOT AGAIN. THATS THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL AND ASSININE THING IVE EVER HEARD. No regard for customers

Office Depot ink cart. recycling

This company is a big rip off. Never paying out for cartridges like they promise. I have called many times and every time they say you have a credit balance of $20.00 and $40.00. Then go into store they say $0.00. I call the main office to organize it. Then again they say you have a balance. Then again I go into store and no balance. Thats twice they have scammed me. No more. I am sick of these corporations ripping people off and nothing can be done because these corporations run the political arena.

Office Depot appalling treatment and false accusations of shoplifting

I went into office depot in Tucson AZ at approx 815 am at the Broadway /Craycroft location. I was greeted by one elderly employee and within minutes tailed by two more employees repeatedly asking if I was finding everything ok.I assured them i was fine and resumed my browsing. Shortly after telling the three guys in red i was perfectly ok finding what I needed ..another red shirt guy asked agsin. I politely pacified him with a few questions about the wireless headset i had come to look at. All the while i was being bombarded with eyes over my shoulder and not so subtle following i had picked up a charging backpack i was interested in. My hands were full so I set my two portable charging cords for phone on top of bag. I did have another quick question for the original guy that was mildly friendly and helpful a d went to seek him out. No luck..he was gone. When I came back to the section i was shopping in ..my bag was gone.

I went to the bathroom before checking out to hear, should I call security in a burly voice. I put e everything back including my soda and candy bc i would never spend a red cent in this God awful store after the manager Adam rudely accused me of shoplifting. He said police were on their way and I said good get them here so I can file charges of slander libel defamation of character. I waited fifteen minutes and police never showed. I asked him if all the theive s wait so politely..he never offered an apology and I can promise you I'll get one before this court case is over

Office Depot inappropriate behavior by management

I was shopping in the store this morning and I witnessed the Manager belittle and fuss out an employee. This happened in the middle of the store, in front of customers. The employee started to cry and asked to go the restroom. The Manager yelled at her saying she already had a bathroom break, and she responded that she needed to compose herself. The Manager rolled her eyes and stormed off. I felt so bad for the employee.

Office Depot advertising

Your decision to end sponsorship of Laura Ingraham has given us reason to boycott you since turnabout is fair play. Yeilding to a 17 year old self-important brat doesn't seem to me to be good corporate practice unless all of your customers are socialist a-holes. We will take our business to Staples despite the extended travel it requires. May the Bird of Paradise fly up your nose! And thus I have exceeded the 350 threshold.

Office Depot lenovo thinkpad/defective upon receipt

Purchased online from Office Depot a refurbished Lenovo Thinkpad laptop.Order placed March 22nd, 2018, received March 28, 2018.

It came without an operating system. You can not operate a computer/laptop without an operating system. Someone messed up! So, I call the company whose number appears as tech support for Office Depot/Office Max.

Well, they have a callback system, and I was number four and they never called me back. I have spoken to online in the chat no less than five people. All five people giving me a different solution, different promises of what they will do and apologies. None of them confirmed not once what was told before and all I wanted was to know what was going on and some confirmation.

My Charge card was charged on March 28th, when delivery was confirmed. However, I do not have a working laptop and interest is accruing as this it typed for a defective laptop. I connected with no less than four people on the Chat, two people by email and two people via the store and no one, no one gave me the same information regarding this laptop. I tried to return the laptop with the receipt and all the paperwork to the store and was told that I could not return it, even though you are by their store policy and online suppose to be able to return what you buy from Office Depot in the store regardless of whether you purchased it online or in the store.

even when twice to my local box store Office Depot/Office Max. The tech guys could not fix the computer or download any operating system. So here I sit with a refurbished laptop for $374.49 and it does not work. So, BEWARE OF OFFICE DEPOT/OFFICE MAX unless you have the time and money to spend and get nothing for it.

I have a home business and because of Office Depot, I am not only losing money with no access to what I paid for I can not return it to the store.

I was told after calling two more people that unbeknownst to me the laptop has been scheduled now for return, but I will have to wait 7 to 10 days for a refund. So, I repeat, BEWARE OF OFFICE DEPOT/OFFICE MAX and do not buy anything online with them since they do not stand by their products, nor their own policies and have customer service people who make up stuff because the print function has been disabled by them so you can not confirm or verify anything you are told by the.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $375.

Office Depot order number [protected]-001

I made an online order this morning and set it up to be picked up by my wife who had to drag our two daughter with her to pick it up. Upon reaching the designated location she was told there had been a mistake and that the store did not have the product and that I had not paid for it which is not true because I had received a confirmation email and it had shown up in my account as paid. She was sent to another location that again rudely told her they didn't have it. She is now on her way to third location which may or may not have it. I called the stores and spent so much time on hold and was hung up on twice. I then called corporate and was put on a hold carousel for well over 30 minutes until I gave up and hung up.
I am appalled at the level of disorganization and incompetence from everyone I've encountered at your company. I cannot believe you have gotten away with treating people like this! You are a public company and I am sure shareholder don't really know how terrible you guys are.
I am committed to making it my mission to speak up for the people. I do internet marketing and will make sure to post blogs reviews and go to consumer affairs if I am not compensated for my wasted time and what you've made my wife and daughters go thru today!
I demand to speak with a real american person not an outsourced call center whom you can barely understand.

I cannot believe this! In addition I went to your websites live chat and there was a 20 minute wait! Everything about your company is a joke!

It amazes me that you would respond to this compliant prior to even responding to my three emails and numerous phone calls to your corporate office today. The more I've searched the more I see that this indeed seems to be quite standard with your organization. I'm still waiting to hear from a real person.

Office Depot unethical behavior

Rachel at store #266 in Lake Charles is the worst customer service manager I have ever met. Tonight (12/1/17) I went to go get copies for an event that I have tomorrow. A sweet associate helped me get them printed in a quick manner while also checking out some customers and working busily on other prints. Rachel FINALLY came up to help another customer (behind me may I add) after the customer got flustered that her job was not done yet. Rachel proceeded to tell this other customer that her job was not done because Aimee was helping me. Not only did Aimee have no help up until this point, but she was helping me because I asked her to. Clearly, Rachel prioritizes certain customers over others, and she blatantly sent an employee home for helping me with my print job. I think that this is absolutely ridiculous to put the blame on a single employee when nobody else is helping her out.

Office Depot filing cabinet delivery

On 11/16 I ordered a filing cabinet for my office. It was to be delivered on 11/17. No show! On 11/20 when I returned to work and saw the cabinet had not been delivered, I live chatted with a rep who later emailed me and said I would receive the cabinet on 11/22. Late, yes, but being so close to Thanksgiving I was understanding that they may be short staffed. On 11/27 still no cabinet. This time I call the 800 number. The lady was very nice and said that someone would call me back in 4 business hours. When the call came they said my cabinet would be delivered 11/29. ? 12 days from the orginal delivery date. I tried to explain that that was unacceptable and I wished to cancel my order. She just kept reassuring me that my cabinet would be there 11/29 for sure, the same thing the last person said about 11/22. I repeatedly asked for a supervisor...never transfered and asked for my order to be canceled. The cancellation request was answered by $25 off. I explained to the lady I don't want a discount I want all my money back. Again I was played to the side and assured that my cabinet would be arrivong on 11/29. Still unhappy I ended the call. Since Office Depot cant stand by the word I guess I will just have to call the credit card company and despute the charge along with refusing the cabinet if it ever arrives

Office Depot no delivery no money return no help

We bought a file cabinet from office depot, never got here so we called. They kept saying will call back. I even spoke with the manager in the sf branch who said they'll send us another file cabinet. Now today they said theres nothing they can do and they can't return the money back. They showed us a proof of delivery, that was not signed by anyone in this house! That signature didn't even come from this house! We even asked them to send the driver again to confirm what house they delivered it too. The manager promised us another file cabinet which was getting sent from main office depot branch. Well today they denied that and said theres is nothing they can do since it was already delivered! Why would they do that to us? Have us wait for a cabinet which was never resent!? Thats [censor] up! Never again will office depot make a sell from us friends or family. We want our money back! Feels like we got robbed so we will make noise until something happens! Order number is [protected]-001

Office Depot horrible customer service

This is by far the worst customer service I've dealt with in my life. I placed an order for a desktop computer on Tuesday (8-15-17) which was supposed to arrive the next day. When the computer didn't come by the end of the day, I checked the tracking page on their site and it showed it was still in transit. So I monitored it throughout Wednesday and it still shows in transit with estimated time of arrival and it never showed. I stayed home both days. I checked again Thursday morning and it was still in transit so I called the 800 number and it tells me it was still in transit. I requested an agent and Mai got on the phone, the first question she asked me after reviewing my information was "do you still want this item?". When I said yes, she said that she will have to reorder the item because the contractor stated that he came and he couldn't get in, meanwhile the website said it was still in transit. When I questioned her facts, she gave no indication that she wanted to figure out why that was happening. She offered to reorder it and I would receive it Friday (8-18-17) which is today. I checked this morning and the order was cancelled, I called customer service again and Maria answered and asked me the same question "do you still want this item?" when I said yes she told me that it was cancelled because it wasn't approved. The only thing she can do is forward it to customer relations. I questioned her about her facts again and I got nowhere. About an hour and half later Ethan from customer relations left me a voicemail saying the order is cancelled and refunded because there were two failed delivery attempts. If I want the item, I have to reorder it. I jumped on their chat line looking find contacts of someone in charge, Retchie came on with the same guarantee that other reps made. Shameful that my son worked for this company.

Office Depot customer service in printing area

I've been using office max in boca raton (officemax boca raton, fl store #6133. office max #6133. 20455 state road 7, mission bay plaza. boca raton, fl 33498.) for more than two years and absolutely horrified with the services in the printing area - incompetent, lousy, unqualified to work in this area. thru these years it's been numerous times when employees would forget to return me my flash drive with important documents that would make me do the second trip to the store in a panic to get it back. moreover, the last flash drive was discarded completely.
Today I inquired to print my job — of about 980 pages and requested to staple copies (that he had to do manually!). on the second copy the printer stopped working, then his computer has frozen... I asked the employee how long would it take to wait. he answered: "I don't' know'. I asked him if he had a technician to invite as I didn't have time to wait and needed to know how long it would take. I told him that I didn't plan to spend so much time and consider that it's his working place and one supposed to know what is going on and try to fix it. his answer was a silence. however, his supervisor stepped in and instead of trying to fix the problem accused me of intimidating of the employee who answered me that he didn't know how long it would take to wait for the computer to unfreeze and he didn't feel that it was his responsibility to do something about that.in conclusion, the supervisor insulted me with a warning that I could be asked not to come to this store if I am not satisfied with his employee's work and dare to express it. that's a criminal case towards the client. I was shocked and my answer was that I would be happy not to come to the environment where supervisor accuses a client in the criticism that does take the place to be and wouldn't exist if his office would work properly.
I consider that the main problem is the management at this office, as the previous supervisor would always consider that the customer is wrong and the new current supervisor (michael vee) doesn't want to take responsibility for the ignoring clients time defending his employee responce. I consider it unacceptable. besides, the very low quality service of the employees in this area is the result of a supervisor who supposed to hire qualified people and who supposed to provide some training of his employees to be ready to work with the customers to their satisfaction.in these more than two years I have encountered numerous times when employees would provide me either with wrong information (e. g., the cost 11x17 as 45c per page) and were not able to make a good contrast copy based on the complete ignorance that made me to pay twice to repeat the same copy with improved quality with the supervisor himself.
I require to process my complaint and I will be waiting for your response on this issue asap.

The last complaint: the new model is very limited in options augment-diminish papers.

Sincerely,
R. isaac

Office Depot terrible customer service

Today, August 2, 2017, I was ignored by all staff at the check out. All employees at the Page Field Commons Shopping Center waited on everyone but me. I left feeling highly annoyed. This is not the first time that this has happened to me. I hesitated upon entering the store because of my last experience. but I decided to go in anyway. It felt like a secret society of KKK members in the store. I refuse to patronage a company that allows their employees to discriminate against customers.
Your attention in this matter is greatly warranted.

I went to the Office Max in Lake City FL yesterday and had a very unbelievable experience. While most employees walking around are very nice and helpful, but this issue had to do with the floor manager Kaye Dourson. She was very inconsiderate to the associate (Richard) who was the only employee working check out. There were a steady stream of customers & while I was in line the phone was steady ringing and Richard was the only one answering. When he was waiting on me, he had a phone call & with someone with a problem and he tried to get the manager to take the call. She made a remark to him & he went back to the phone & took care of that. I said, "I can't believe she is not taking that call. She is over behind the customer service desk not answering phones, just looks like she was reading something. She can see you have a line of customers and you're the only one working check out." The lady behind me started commenting about the same thing, but she was loud. Richard was very polite, calm and professional not making any comment on what we were saying. She was not friendly to customers she talked to, never smiled. Maybe she needs to work in the back.

Office Depot delivery service

Today, June 29, 2017 I placed order 1Z1836920133220884 for 2 headsets, mine broke while I was working this morning. After searching different companies ordered from Office Depot because they had next business day delivery which I paid for. It was very disappointing that a company like this would deceive it's clients. The first email I received gave the next day delivery, I was ecstatic, was only going to miss one day of work. The second gave a delivery date of 3-5 business days. What a disappointment. I could have ordered from Walmart and got it for the same date and free delivery in the store. The first customer service agent basically was ok if I cancelled, didn't other for any other option. With the second agent, I did get refunded the next day delivery but that doesn't begin to cover the days that I will miss from work because I can't cancel my order. It will take the same amount of time for Home Depot to refund my card. I'm a customer service agent and this is unacceptable, I can loose my contract because of this. I would have paid double to get the earpiece tomorrow. Now I loose 7 working days. Not right. What bothers me the most is that I asked for a supervisor and was ignored. The supervisor should have contacted the client they are selling the product from and had the delivery next day as Home Depot promised, if not don't sell from that client. That is the worst customer service I've had. Agent was very polite but didn't bother to go further. Instead of complaining now I would have been complementing the company. Little customers like me are better off buying from the local Walmart, price is right, delivery to store is free and at least you know where you stand. Expected much more from Office Depot.

Office Depot canon scanner - return

Hello-
My complaint is service related. Since I am a business owner - I am keen to service issues. I wanted to share with you my experience - I feel office depot has falled short.
I have a dental practice. I purchase all my office supplies through my local office depot on forest lane in dallas, texas. An office depot employee advised me to purchase a canon scanner to scan in my radiographs - it is a daunting project.
It took us several months to get the project started. Once we had the scanner installed - it did not work as we were advised - the radiographs could not be read. We trouble-shooted with canon but it simply is not the right scanner.in fact, the hp printer/scanner/copier that I purchased from you - works better.
So we had to have the canon scanner removed - placed back in box where it sat for several months.
Finally - I realized I should take it back. It had been almost a year.
To my surprise really - I was told that since it has been more than 30 days - there is nothing office depot will do. And I was turned away.
So I gave 1 800 go depot a call and explained my situation to dana.
She too would not help me out stating that these are the policies and there is nothing she would do for me.
This is utterly disappointing. The scanner is new in the box exactly how I purchased it.
Considering the value of the scanner - it is not a huge ask. I purchased it for $200. I am just very disappointed that office depot won't help me out with a product that they recommended I purchase.
I was not made aware that there was a time frame involved.
I assumed office depot has better policies.
I assumed that after hearing my particular situation - someone could help me out. I am a professional. I am not trying to take advantage.
I just wanted some courtesy.
Unfortunately - I will be purchasing my office supplies elsewhere from now on.
As a business owner - thought you might want to know my experience.

Office Depot lenovo flex 3

Office Depot, 16th Avenue, Laurel, Mississippi
4:49 (within the past hour)
Friday, March 31st, 2017

(1st problem)
I have had nothing but problems with this computer since I bought it. I have been to Office Depot several times about this computer. I went to the Office Depot in Laurel tod ayand was talking to the Technical Specialist about some of the problems I was experiencing. The screen goes black at various unexpected times and I lose what I have added to a document. Would you not say this is acceptable? I would not. I do not like to lose material on the documents I create. There are some other similiar issues as well.

(2nd problem)
I also realized the computer would not accept a DVD so I was advised of something else to buy so I did. My DVD attachment worked for a while but now it does not work. The Office Depot tech people have tried to correct it but they never seem to be successful. The DVD I brought with me works on other computers.

The manager told the tech work that they do not have time to deal with me and that if I want their assistance I will have to pay by the hour. Is this how Office Depot treats its customers? I did not appreciate this and would very much like to resolve my problems with my computer and the DVD attachment.

Office Depot chair delivery

I will not come back and will never order anything from Office Depot again! Two months already passed and I'm still waiting for my office chair and I can't reach anyone with a common sense!
I called their toll-free number and spoke with someone who was not able to help me with my issue. Moreover, their rep had very poor English skills and because of his terrible accent I couldn't understand a thing. I just want to know where my chair is and when will it arrive. If no one will help me I'll cancel my order! Office Depot contact me as soon as possible, I can't wait any longer!
