Oberon Media want to cancel

I signed up for a 6 month subscription and it has been much longer than that, although the charges are still showing up on my card. I want it cancelled and credited ASAP.

bought games from Oberon and Iplay cancelled my subscription because I was having problems downloading. fast forward got a new computer tried to download my games and say's I have to buy again, I have about 50 games that I can't download, when I signed up it said the games were mine forever, I went to iplay web site went to my games I have purchased and it only should 7 games, I have all the emails I got from them with activation instruction and keys and when I I click on the download link it takes me from site to site. to site and finally wind up on the oberon Media games and then I have to sign in and can not just download the games I own, so what is up with this, Have emailed them several times and either I don't get a response or just the run around. I think that I am entitled to a refund.

we have pogo downloading games and it keeps coming up saying error and we cant play we would like to figure out what is going on with the games or we want or money back

we have got pogo games on our computer and now that pogo has changed there games we cant play them it keeps coming up saying error and we really like the games and we have tryed everything that we can think of to fix the problem and we would like them to be taking care of or we would like our money back

I am trying to cancel my oberon media membership. I have been charged $6.95 a month for multiple months but when I try to get a game it tells me I don't have a membership.

I bought a game from you but I haven't gottin it yet it is antlantis bundle on jewel Quest two it says 21kocls on jewel Quest it says pc cd-rom e is their any free soft wear for these. they instill but wont play the games

Oberon Media key registration

I bought a game, text twist, 6 or 7 yrs ago, and was trying to put my registration key in, on a new computer, which didn't work. I copied and pasted the exact information they gave me 5 yrs ago and still didn't work I have contacted Oberon several times and they keep saying they can't help me, they have no listing of my purchase...even when I sent proof of purchase, and key number that they gave me. Naturally there's no number to call them and they keep sending me the same form letter! I've never had so much trouble with a support group before and would never buy a game from them again.

i bought fish tycoon back in 2006 and after moving i just discovered it and i would like to play it. However, the computer i installed it on is long gone. i don't have the registration key anymore either. i really want to play this game and i need help. can you please send me the registration key code. i also had a different email back then too. i really need your help.

This company is F O S. I have been charged 9.99 a month by them for several months without my permission. Their Tech support is only via email. By the time you finish with all of the correspondences another month has past and another unautorized withdrawl is removed from your credit card. I want to cancel my membership and my money refunded. I cant make it any more simple as that.Why is that so hard to understand? Please beware of this company. They will rip you off.

I have recently signed up with my credit card and programme to download games of my choice. how ever i have found that my home computer has an excess of usuage data, being chatrged to me and i am connected to activ8.net.au. My account at home is being charged instead of this one that is connected to ADSL2. Could you please advise me of what to do to repair this problem. Oberon Media Fraudulant charges

For everyone that has been taken by Oberon. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs against Oberon Media, Inc. I too have been ripped off by this company for over $47.00 and I just want my money back.
I will gather all of these complaints from this site and from others for evidence and if anyone would like to add something else such as the amount stolen, etc., please just let me know.

If you call, you will probably get a recording, if you do, dial zero for the operator and demand to speak to someone in charge, i.e. the president, vice president, etc.. Don't let them send you to customer service because that is who your problem is with.
If they refuse to help, let them know that a complaint will be filed with the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs and then do it.

Even though these dollar amounts are not big, it is the principle and we the people need to start sending a message to these big companies. If the Department of Consumer Affairs receive enough complaints, then this company could be shut down. If we tie up the companies phone lines with complaints, maybe they will respond in kind.

Same complaint as others. Not only can't I download free games "Processing error", they charge for games not ordered or received. When the class action lawsuit gets started I want in. If anyone knows how to harass MSN for backing this scam, I'd appreciate the information.

I also have been ripped off by this company. $41.94 so far. They tell me to purchase a game at full price, then they will refund my $6.95 monthly fees. Well, I did that, now they refuse to refund. So I have been now charged $41.94 monthly fees (still occuring) and $19.99 for a game download. Something needs done about this company!

Not only have they been taking 9.95 out of my account AND by the way, I did this through Yahoo, someone there used my password and got into my Paypal account through Ebay.
The only 2 places I have used the same password. (Yahoo and Paypal) It is a GBP conversion in regards to money.
I never signed up for a membership and can't get them to stop since they "don't recognize" me.
I called yahoo and I believe that they are a part of Oberon due to the fact that the cust service guy told me that I have to deal with them even though he knew the whole story.
now I do not trust Yahoo as well.

Oberon Media Doesn't work

I recieved my CD with Super Text Twist with the Product key on the front of the CD. I installed it on my computer and when it ask for the product key I input the code just as it was on the CD. It rejected the product key! I paid my money and got nothing for it. Thanks alot Oberon!

Oberon Media Scam

I recently purchased a game online through this company . I was billed but the registration code given to activate the game doesn't work. I was confirmed by email that I was billed for the purchase.Ive tried to replying to the company, they responded saying basically nothing just give it 24 hours . I did this still nothing. I dont even have a number to call to try to discuss this situation. Ive read online that Im not along in this, many others are having the same problem and say its a rip off and a scam.

Oberon Media Unable to cancel

I am being charged for a memebership to a game site. I thought I cancelled this months ago. When I go onto their website, it says I have to sign into my account - but I have to account info (never did) and there is no link. Where is my credit card number stored? I can't even access the payment info to change it.

Purchased 1 game from yahoo gamesaver and am being charged a monthly fee of 9.99 for a subcription I never authorized, have looked for customer service numbers to cancel this subscription and to tell them they have no right doing this, can't find any way of canceling this.

I joined the gamesaver oberon media 6 month plan. Have been a member for 7 months. Have NEVER been able to login. ALWAYS states my userid doesn't exist-however they bill my credit card monthly & have since the beginning. EVERY month, I email them & they send me whatever info & instructions that I need to obtain the monthly game, BUT, I STILL cannoy login...they cannot seem to make that possible for me. This month- month 7... membership has been fulfilled & for a week now, I have been trying to get my monthly game, for some reason, they cannot seem to help me this month. I cannot get my game. I finally, after 4 days, asked to have my membership canceled -not worth the hassel & I have fulfilled my obligations...now they won't respond AT ALL. I have asked for a confirmation email to no avail. My "userid doesn't exist"(...& NEVER has) so, I can't even goo into the site to ck if I am canceled or not...HOWEVER, my cc is still being billed & they will not reply.

I have just managed to find and print up a copy of my [censor] membership agreement with gamesave and it says quite clearly that once I have fulfilled my commitment i can cancel. Well were the heck do we go to do that...have finally gone to our bank to have the credit card debit cancelled. These people are unbelievable, the joys of the internet, far to many customer for them to worry about a few.

It doesn't much matter where you go... big fish, yahoo, wild tangent, etc. They are all represented by oberon media. Once you sign they will take money for as long as they want. They will respond to your complaints only so far that you can't get a game. If you want to cancel you will have to cancel your credit card. I don't think these people care about repeat customers it looks like they made their money.

The website instructions are: go to yahoo games. Choose any game and click "purchase full game". On the next page it will ask if you are a member. Sign in with your yahoo ID. Click FAQ at bottom of page. Scroll down and there is a link for cancel account. I did this tonight. Won't know for a few days if it worked. It also says if you signed up for more than 2 months and cancel early it will continue to charge the remaining months. I only had the 2 month account.

Oberon Media games

Having problems cancelling your Oberon/Yahoo game subscription because they are all eager to take your money but don't allow you any easy way to cancel? I emailed Yahoo and was told it was an Oberon issue. I emailed Oberon through their contact sites 4 times with not one response. Finally after being billed in excess of what I agree to do and about 2 weeks of searching, I found out how to do this. I am so pissed at the company, I am sharing it. I understand that this info has been posted on other web sites and then removed by Yahoo. Who cares, here it is:

Once you are logged in:

1. Go to Yahoo! Games
2. Click on the "More Info/Buy now" link of any downloadable game
3. Click on the "Buy Full Version" link

4. Please click on the Y! Games subscription FAQ to access the cancel link.

Thank you SO much for posting the cancellation steps. I've been looking for about an hour now on the yahoo site for a way to cancel my membership and I was just furious that I couldn't find anything in yahoo help. I did a search and I found a couple of postings on yahoo from people asking how to cancel their membership, but when I followed the link all of those posts were deleted. Sketchy!

It is time YAHOO stopped its association wtih Oberon.
It is time Yahoo sets up a

1. Games Purchase Complaints Board In Yahoo Games Page .
2. Recieve all complaints
3. Resolve them immediately
4. Write to all those who bought a game in the last one year and seek if there are any complaints. Resolve them too.

I can not beleive that they do business like this. I wish i would of came across your comments sooner. I was just trying to cancel membership and you were the only one with the helpful answer. They still took $80. from my credit card. I emailed them because i get an error message from cancelling membership link. They just make it as hard as possible just so that they can run with your money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Thank you so much for posting this! I had the same problem. I can't believe Yahoo would associate themselves with such sketchy practices. Also, for those of you who don't know, you'll get charged an international point of sale fee by your bank for using Oberon, as the transaction is placed in Cyprus. SKETCHY!

Oberon Media Cancelling Membership

I paid for a membership to MSN games thru Oberon-Media so that I could purchase games for $9.95. My agreement was for 2 months after which time I could cancel. I have purchased my 2 games and have sent a cancellation notice for 3 months with no response from the company. I have been charged for 3 months worth of games that I have never downloaded and my credit card company has removed the charges because I am contesting the charges. If I can ever get this issue resolved I will tell everyone I know never to purchase any games from this company. I sure do not know why MSN would ever be working with Oberon-Media. If anyone has an address or phone# or any ideas as to how to get in contact with these people, please let me know.

I too have had great difficulty trying to download my free games that charges on my credit card show. I signed up for 6 months @$6.95 and they still keep charging me every month. Emails from Oberon Media say I can download my free game by going to MSN downloads. No luck with that either. Some games I have already purchased have issues that have not been resolved by them. ie. the games do not work after a certain point has been reached. There is no solution to this problem even after contacting them. Leslie Leeds, Collingwood On.

I also ended up with a subscription that I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR and got charged for. This is the most fraudulant company I have ever done business with and does need investigating. they are targeting children with this fraud. The thing that worked for me was to contact my bank and have the charges reversed and let the bank know that this was a fraudulant charge. If enough people complain to their banks the word will get out that this company is stealing from their customers. good luck and don't do business with this horrible, slimey company.

Oberon Media Cancellation problems

I was on Best BUY web site and was offered a chance to buy reduced games. I started to enroll and I changed my mind before ordering the game. I called BEST BUY and they told me they didn't have an order for me and I would not be charged for the membership. Then I got my credit card bill I had charges from this company Gamesaver Subscription (MSN/Oberon). Best buy said they didn't have anything to do with the charge and could not help me. They gave me another number to call and it was Game stop. They said it wasn't them. I called my credit card to stop charges and they said I had to cancel, before they could help. If you try to get help from Gamesaver they have not phone number or anyway to contact them.

I have also been scamed my bank account being charged monthly my reccommendation is that those affected close that account and open new account with different number remmember to reset any direct debits you may have had with reputible businesses ie: power, rent.

I found out how to do it! Unfortuntely after i went to my credit card company and had them file a dispute and change my account number, but hopefully someone else will see this!

Go to a yahoo game and click the 'buy-now' button. Don't worry, you wont actually buy the game. Sign in using your yahoo ID and then instead of clicking 'redeem free' click on 'my account' at the bottom is a cancellation link!

Unfortunately you only have 4 days to cancel the subscription before they start charging and if you signed up for the 12 month subscription then you either have to buy out or let them keep charging for the full 12 months.

Tried that link didn't work. So I just cancelled my credit card, that should fix them. I did everything else to try to stop the subscription and couldn't do it. So I recommend to anyone else just cancel your card and get a new one, that was the advice from the rep I talked to at the credit card company. Takes about a week to get a new card, but it worth it. She also said to lodge a complaint with the BBB which I'm doing next. Good luck to anyone else that has this problem.

Unfortunately I registered with Incredigames which also uses Oberon Media, so I get charged twice a month as I also bought games from Big Fish Games and WildGames. Big Fish and Wild charge for credits or whatever to buy the game, and then I notice that I also get money taken out again for the game itself. I tried sending an e-mail to Wild Games, and got a reply saying that it was only an automated e-mail address and was not monitored. I have no idea how to contact either Wild or Big Fish. I have cancelled my subscription with Incredigames as I was continually unable to sign-in. It seems all these game sites are full of idiots who cannot answer enquiries or complaints. If anyone can give me an address or site to go to to remedy the situation I would be most grateful, and I will most certainly be telling other people not to buy any games.

Holy ###, what have I let myself in for? I seem to get charged twice for games through this service, once to buy the credits, and then once to buy the game. This month I have been charged over $30 instead of the usual $7 or so. Has anyone been able to find a way out?

Oberon Media bogus registration keys

During Pogo.com's downloadable game weekend sale, I purchased 2 Oberon-media games but when I received the registration keys they did not work. Submitted inquiry to oberon-media support but have not received a reply other than an automated statement saying my inquiry was received and I would be contacted within 48 hours. 48 hours are up, no response. I guess I will have to contact my bank and have payments denied.

I never received an email with registration number after purchase, only had the one Pogo gave at the end of purchase steps. My purchases were on 4/17 and 4/19, tickets submitted to Oberon-media after each one when key didn't work. Today I check email and I have a response from Oberon-media with new keys for both games (these worked this time, yay!) as well as an email from them through Pogo. As everyone knows, when momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy! LOL I am happy now.

I have purchased 2 games this weekend with the same problem. Charged for the games but registration key/email doesn't work. Submitted problem to support and have not gotten a reply other than automated "received inquiry".

Oberon -Media withdrew money from my account without my permission. I do not buy games like this and I am ready to call my attorneys to take care of this matter if you don't put my money back right away.

I will be watching for the return of my money. I get an alert when ever my is taken out of my account or deposited into my account. Therefore I know that Oberom-Media took it. You need to get better verification before you remove anyone's money.

I am at my wits end with this company! For at least 6 months now, I have been submitting a contact form to cancel my account with no resolution! In the meantime, they are continuing to charge my bank account EVERY MONTH and I don't even use their website!
It has gotten to the point where I am one step away from filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! If my complaint is NOT addressed and resolved before the next billing cycle I will be forced to do just that! I am generally a patient person until I get taken advantage of and ignored...

OMG where do I start. Im another victim that accidentally joined their membership & once realized all they said u can cancel but we will charge the full amount u owe for what u have left of ur membership. At that time I was only in about a month and a half so it would have been pricey. angrgy but what could I do. Im not afraid to admit that this is my first computer, this month, (Oct. 2010), will be one year that Ive owned a computer so lots to learn. anyway I accidentally bought like 2 or 3 different games numerous times. i contacted them, (which sucks cuz u can only contact them through the email), and they are so sorry and must be hurting financially cuz they would not refund the money back to my card. Beware! I've tried 9 times since May 1 to contact these companies from both sites, and I've gotten no response from Oberon-Media and lame answers from Yahoo. What it boils down to, is that I purchased a game, installed it, it crashes in the same spot each time, re-downloaded from link they sent, re-installed, ran DXDiag with no issues found, and still the problem remains. I did the same process 4 times then gave up. They won't honor my request for a refund, and now emails are bouncing back from Oberon with an 'OUT OF OFFICE" response in the subject line.

THIS COMPANY WILL NOT RESPOND AND I'M STILL OUT $19.99 FOR A GAME THAT WON'T RUN (FAULTY PROGRAMMING).

Any ideas of where to turn next for a refund?

CONTACT the BBB immediately! Oberon charged me twice for a one time game purchase and I never received the key to get the game. After numerous emails and attempted calls to their NY office, I got NO response. I went online to the BBB and lodged a complaint with the details. Miraculously, I got a response and apology from Oberon within 1 business day of the complaints submittal. Do not threaten and do not wait. This company has some shady business practices. Turn it over to the BBB- not only will you get a resolution, perhaps the numerous complaints will cause an investigation into this company and their scamming tactics!

Oberon Media Unauthorized/Unannounced Fees

I purchased a 12-month subscription at $6.95/mo, so with tax the total was $7.30. I noticed along with this am0unt on my statement, there was a $0.06 charge for International Transfer Fee. I wrote them about it and they said that the fee was because their payment center is in Cyprus. They did not tell me about this or that there would be an additional fee. Also, I paid in US dollars, so there should be no fee. Oberon should be responsible for this fee since they opted to ship jobs overseas. I have filed a complaint with the FTC as well.

oberon media would be the most ignorant and in efficient company that I have ever dealt with. I have been trying for weeks to get the issue of a double billing resolved. One minute there is no record of it the next is pick a new game and we will send you the reg no for another game. I have done that so many times back and forth I am sick of it. They can keep the bloody money if they are that desperate. I went to cancel my game saver ans suddenly I don't exist in there records even though I have bought a lot of games from them. Looks like I have to cancel my credit card. Bunch of crooks. My advice DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Get spintop games. redgypysy

Please lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission @ www.FTC.Gov. This is a huge agency but the more complaints they receive, the faster they will make an effort to stop this. I have been to site after site of people having the same issue we are and it just isn't fair. You may also want to contact your local TV consumer reporters. They love this kind of story especially when the economy is as screwy as it is and they can usually get results quickly. Good luck and don't give up. That is what they are hoping for. Why make millionares out of scam artists.

I don't even remember using this game site and cannot log in to their site, and they conveniently have no good way to contact them or log a complaint on thei website. I too have a big problem. I ordered Scrabble Blast but the registration number they gave me to access the game was wrong and have not been able to contact anyone. I tried the [protected] but it's not in service. The 646 area code number gave me some options. Will try that before I call the BBB.

I had downloaded a free trial of Dream Day first home and decided I liked it and ordered the cd. When I ordered the game they let me download the full version untill the cd was mailed. Anyway by the time the cd was delivered, I beat the game and did not mess with the cd. Well a year later I had deleted the game from my computer and wanted to reinstall and play. Well everytime I try to install the game the stupid thing tries to give me a trojan Win 32 virus! It does not make any sense to me. I think that the cd is defective! After I delete the virus I still can't play the game because it is missing some shortcut! I will never by another game from them!

Yes, I am going through the same thing. Their so-called Membership is a scam and I have just finally received a reply that along with my $7.95 monthly game purchase, I am also charged an additional $7.95 monthly membership fee which they have been scamming me every month. They are hoping that people do not check their credit card statements for such a low amount but I do. Now I am owed 2 games and I can no longer get into my account. I have also noticed that most games eventually end up being Oberon. I'm going to write the headquarters in NYC. IT'S AN ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF!

I have been trying for 2 days to find a way of cancelling games subscriptions (I have fulfilled my original commitments) which I subscribed through Yahoo Games and MSN Games. There is absolutely no information on how to unsubscribe. It is disgusting and is a bad indictment on the reputations of both MSN and Yahoo, not to mention Oberon Media (disguised as GameSaver Subscription Internet CYP). I have resorted to lodging a dispute with my Credit Card provider. Don't get sucked in to these special deals unless you want to pay forever!

Oberon Media cannot get games bought

I purchased 2 games from Oberon Media when I lived in another state. After moving, I had to get another computer, my email also changed. I was not able to download the games to my new computer, using the key code previously received.

When I contacted the company through email with the exact specifics, I only got the reply your email address does not match our records. They never read the entire email with my confirmation codes and purchase receipt attached.

If you ever purchase from them, get the disk, the download only may leave you as me; paid for games, but no games to play!

I will never purchase from them again as their customer service is non existent.

I have been trying to get my two free games for almost six weeks. Dead end after dead end. I have emailed Oberon Media; I have emailed MSN. No help. They tell you that you must contact them by email. Oberon Media game registration

I recently tried to purchase the game Text Twist online with my credit card. I recieved an error that I needed approval. I e-mailed asking what the problem was and several weeks later, recieved the response that I should try again using a different credit card - although the one I used was perfectly ok. It seems that their payment provider is in Cyprus and some of our banks won't do business with them? Is this a red flag or what. I informed them that I will forgo Text Twist, which I really love, until they get a payment provider here in the US and help out the economy and provide some jobs rather then outsourcing to Cyprus. Til then I am boycotting Oberon and think others should too.

Oberon Media Charged for CD but not delivered

Apparently I'm not alone based on the complaints I found on the Internet. It's very simple, on May 20, 2008, I purchased a CD of the Oberon Media game called "Big City Adventure-San Francisco. I was charged but it has never been delivered. I have emailed their customer service many times, with responses of all false promises such as "we're having problems with our CDs..." or someone will get back to you within 12 days. They don't even respond to my emails anymore.

I PURCHASED 2 DIFFERENT GAMES FROM 2 DIFFERENT STORES ONE GAME IS DREAM DAY DUO WITH DREAM DAY WEDDING AND DREAM DAY HONEYMOON. THE OTHER GAME IS WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB. Oberon Media purchasing games issues

I attempted to purchase a game from the MSN site (which is handled by Oberon-Media) and received an error page as soon as my credit card info was entered that advised me not to reorder as same error would appear and that I needed to contact support to complete the order and a link was provided to support. The link did not work. I tried 3 times and nothing happened.

I went to the MSN games site and found the links to get to support for purchasing issues and filled out the information and then received an error page when I tried to send it off. The new error page provided an email address to send info/issue to if there was a problem with the support page. I sent an email and received a delivery failure notice as the email address does not exist as per below:

There are no other methods of contact that I can find. I did, however, go back to the support page and click on their "Comments and suggestions" link, which had the exact same format as the other support pages, filled out the same information and received a ticket number once I sent it. It appears that if you have any issues to do with billing, you can be sure to get a non-existant email address to send to or the page suddenly no longer works, but if you enter things that don't directly have to do with billing or purchases, you at least get a ticket number... I requested they respond to my ticket within 24 hours. I will update further if they do or not...

I am also having the same problems with them, between [protected] I purchases over 20 games from oberion media thru msn games before I discovered bigfish games. my laptop crashed 2010. I got a new 1 and re - downloaded all my bigfish games without any problems but every time I go to try and download my old games from oberion, they give me a 403 error message, I try to contact their customer service via the email page sent to me confirming my purchase and it give me a 404 error message. I have no idea what else to do. this is sick. with big fish games, it doesn't matter how long I have been away. I can download any game I have paid for and activate them without any glitches.

After contacting the various local police departments, the Consumer Protection Agency, the Better Business Bureau, we will be in touch with our attorneys to file a class action suit against both you and MSN.
Also, please note we are in the process of filing a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

This is the email I sent, after being charged five times for one game. Everyone should get together and join in a class action suit.

I too have failed to hear back from the so-called customer service dept. My computer with Windows XP crashed a couople weeks ago, losing six (6) downloaded Oberon games. My new computer has the Windows 7 Home package and it seems to ba able to play the games, but I have been waiting a week to hear from tham after they said they would contact me with-in 48 hours. I have left 2 emails to 2 different address' and have left a vm to the NYC iplay Corporate Headquarters([protected])...to no avail. If anyone has looked into an attorney for lawsuit purposes, I too would like to join in.

Well we had set up an account with oberon media through msn games a few months ago then went and bought a new computer with windows 7 on it, and of course windows 7 wants you to set up a windows live account and once you do this you cant get into your msn games account again. Every time i contact them i get some generic answer that doesnt address the issue or fix it. I just think that they dont want to spend the money on extra employees for customer service and are happy taking our money and letting all of us sweat it out. If anyone has contacted a lawyer about this I would love to talk to him or her.

I bought Mahjong Journey of Enlightenment approximately 2 years ago through MSN. I had to get a new hard drive so lost the game. I have the original code but now that game is no longer listed on the site. I wrote to them and got the usual canned message about being too overwhelmed so the wait would be longer than their usual 24-48 hours. I emailed again after 4 days and nothing. It has now been 9 days. I have asked them to send me the CD-ROM. So, if this does not happen, they owe me a game. But, I am not holding my breath that that will happen or that I will hear from them. Once this outfit has your money, it is obviously tough sh! if you have a problem. NEVER AGAIN!

I got 3 games from these people from bestbuygames.com ... my comp crashed so I get it fixed and go to re-download the games since I still have the registration codes and email I used for them and can't get to the download page on any of the games, I can't find them anywhere else and I'm pretty irritated. I can't even get their website to come up but here's some info I found for them and I WILL be calling them during business hours.

I too purchased '4 Elements' game...could not get anywhere...they sent me a registration numer but it would not work...after trying 3 times, they charged me 3 times...Now I can't find a way to cancel or when I do they say I am not a customer. How in the world can I find a telephone number or a website to cancel? I feel so frustrated because I have been taken in and can't do anything but cancel my charge card. This has been a lesson for me. No more games will I play or even think about buying.

Oberon Media Billing

I purchased 6 games from MSN games online who apparently has paired with Oberon Media. I was billed incorrectly and overcharged on 5 of the games. The only way to contact these people is through their online support email which of course conveniently avoids billing issues. I have emailed repeatedly and only get responses telling me how to install and play the games. I called MSN and they gave me a phone number which I called. It's of course a recording telling me to email if there is a problem. I have no other way of contacting Oberon and in the meantime I still have these overcharges that I need credited. What can I do?

Hi, I'm in the UK and finding it impossible to cancel my MSN Games discount subscription as the routes Oberon, Iplay and MSN offer are either not actually there at all or simply lead to a 404 error message. Messages and emails produce no response or cannot be delivered. I feel I must go to UK Trading Standards (Government Department for consumer protection) as these businesses appear to be operating in a very devious and unprincipled manner.

I purchased ONE Online game from Oberon Media and was billed THREE times. I CLEARLY requested that the company refund the cost of the two additional charges, but they responded that I could pick out two more games. This is clearly a scam.

When you go to cancel your membership, their website claims that they are going to automatically bill the difference that you owe for your 12 month contract. You have no recourse and are unable to get out of this scam without being billed each month.

After reading the complaints board, it's clear that Oberon Media is scamming a lot of people and should be shut down.

I have been billed for over a year for an account that I can not access to either discontinue or download from. The phone number associated with the account on my bank bill does not reply to calls. I've contacted msn repeatedly and never received even an acknowledgement of the contact. They want my account information and since they deleted the account without my knowledge, yet still bill me every month, I can not give them it. Now I'm complaining about oberon since that is apparently partnered with msn. I am at the point where I may start tweeting and blogging about it to warn people not to ever buy the msn game accounts 'deals'. And all of this started because my father died and I took a break from internet games so my account was inactive for a while. How is it ok to delete an account that someone is paying for? Ever? Even if they do not use it.

I sent 7 emails to Oberon in order to ask about an installation problem. All I get are computer generated emails telling me I will hear from them in 48 hours. It has now been 10 days! I sent an email to cancel my account due to LACK OF SERVICE. i got an email saying my account is cancelled.. I WILL NOT TAKE CHANCES! I have contacted my bank and they will DENY any further charges from this DISHONEST, LACK OF SERVICE WASTE OF MONEY COMPANY.. As Clark Howard says, They are experts at CUSTOMER NO-SERVICE!

I agree Im going though the same B.S. I order the hells kitchen game lasTnite and the key wasnt sent to my email. I always have a habit of copying and pasting so ive done that on a note pad befor i closed out and downloaded the game. And guess what. Yup It doesnt ...WORK. Says email or Key Reg is WRONG. Im soo upset as many as u are and ive been sending emails and calling. This is the first for me. I have alot of pogo games ive brought and wasnt no problems at all.

I ran into a few more people from pogo site that order games cause they on sale and they are having the same issues. This is so CRAZY.

I'm so upset - I have sent two emails to them and still no responce. If I had of wanted to wait and play the game tomorrow - next week - a year from now thats when I would have bought it...

I purchased a game as a gift for my mother, which we did 4 games this weekend, but with this 1 game, I got the confirmation of payment they took my money, but never sent my mother the registration key, I emailed them multiple times, no response, then another email i got a response saying they have no records of my purchase, I emailed them all the information, stated how upset i was, they wrote back saying to pick a game any game, don't purchase it just e-mail them which game and they would send me the registration key, i e-mailed them, and once again i got the same e-mail that they have no records of my purchase! I emailed again every piece of info and again the same email having no records after saying they would send the code.

There service is horrible i have ordered about 10-15 games since 2008 from them for my mother as she has no credit card, and they have the worst costumer service,

i will never use them again and hope others will find a new place to purchase games, don't get robbed like we did!
