I appreciate the fact that my material is now on DVD.
Originally I felt I had paid too much for the amount of material I had digitized. What I had not realized that there was a significant discount of 50% which I failed to employ.
My problem is when I received my stuff back there were no DVDs which confused me.
Again, I missed that, and had checked online only.
When I called to ask about this I was told that if I wanted my own DVDs it would be another cost!
That was somewhat disappointing.
I paid the extra $35.00 dollars for two DVDs
So I just felt the price was over the top.
Imemories reached out to me and pointed out that had I taken the correct choices my cost would have been approximately $75.00 less.
What Imemories did was give me all the discounts that I could have taken.
I must say how many companies would have done that.
I never had a problem with the product, which I was very happy with the result.
No Non-sense Get It Done Company
I was completely freaked sending my 35 plus years of VHS and 8mm family memories. The shipping and following was the hardest part; it was good, slow, and once iMemories received the package, I was relieved. Production time to convert was quite good, and the communication was excellent. Once they transformed the videos to digital, they were put up in your own account, and then the fun began! WoW... things you forgot and moments that last a lifetime can be watched with ease from any device. There were a couple of video-tracking issues due to age, and I brought it to their attention, and within days, they were able to correct them. Once they confirmed that all videos were viewed and satisfactory, the originals are returned, which I just received yesterday. Overall, my experience with iMemories was exceptional. I am preparing to send my parent's old film from the early '60s, and 70's to be converted next. That will be a real treat to share!
Priceless!
My Dad was the one at family gatherings with his home movie camera (Super 8) and would make everyone say something into the microphone. Everybody hated it. This was back in the late 70s early 80s. Years passed and so did my Dad. My mom went into assisted living and we were cleaning out the house and found these old films. I boxed them up and said I was going to get them restored. Almost went with another company a few times, but decided on iMemories and I'm so glad I did. I've been able to share links with my cousins via text and they can watch the videos on their phone! They all went nuts and gave a big shout out to my Dad for taking them because they are now priceless!
I also had DVDs made for everyone. IMemories compiled all the tapes into one DVD, so the cost was nominal. Plus iMemories took pictures from the movies and used them on the cover of the DVD and the DVD itself. If you've been planning to get your old treasures restored, don't wait another minute... call iMemories!

iMemories Review: Digitize Your Memories with Some Initial Issues and Great Customer Service
iMemories is a website that helps you digitize your old photos and videos. At first, we were excited to use their services to preserve our precious memories. However, when we received our pictures, we were disappointed to find that quite a few of them were too dark to view, the lettering was backwards, or they were even upside down. It seemed like very little attention had been placed on our order.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to call iMemories to discuss the problems with a large number of photos. Thankfully, I was given a good response and we were able to review the photos together. Through additional conversations, we were able to resolve most of the photo problems and have just recently gotten the original photos back.
We plan to review the photos again and delete some before getting them to disc. Despite the initial issues, we appreciate the attention that was placed on our order after we complained. It shows that iMemories cares about their customers and is willing to work with them to ensure their satisfaction.
Overall, we would recommend iMemories to anyone looking to digitize their old photos and videos. While there may be some initial issues, their customer service is top-notch and they are willing to work with you to resolve any problems. Plus, the end result is worth it - having all of your memories in one place and easily accessible is priceless.
Mixed Experience with iMemories Cloud: Good Website, But Difficulty Accessing Files from Different Devices
The iMemories website is pretty good, but I had some trouble logging in from different computers. Every time I tried, it said my password was wrong. I finally figured out that I could only view my files from one laptop. I wish they had given me some instructions on how to download the files to my computer. I tried to do it from the laptop, but it didn't work.
I only have a few days left on my 30-day trial for the cloud. I'm not sure if I'll be able to see my files after that if I don't pay the fee. I thought I was going to get a disk with everything on it, but I guess not. I wish they had explained how it all works better.
Overall, I think iMemories is a good service, but they need to make it easier to access your files from different devices. It would also be helpful if they provided clearer instructions on how to download your files. I hope they can improve these things in the future.
iMemories Review: Limited Access and Lack of Transparency
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with iMemories. I mean, it's probably my fault for not reading the fine print, but I had no idea that I only had 30 days to access my photos and videos. I only managed to download a small set of pictures before I lost access to the rest. It's a real bummer, especially since I shelled out some serious cash for this service.
To be fair, I did get an email from iMemories saying that I had a free trial to access my pictures. But come on, why wasn't that made clear from the get-go? I feel like I got duped into spending money on something that I didn't fully understand. And now I'm left with only a handful of pictures to show for it.
I did try reaching out to iMemories to see if there was anything they could do to help me access the rest of my photos and videos. But unfortunately, I never got a response. So now I'm just stuck with what I have.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend iMemories to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle and the potential to lose access to your precious memories. Save your money and find a different service that's more upfront about their policies.

Disappointing Experience with iMemories: Clarity, Captions, and Time Frame for Downloading Digitals
I recently used iMemories to convert my old videos to digital format. While it was a nice experience, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the clarity of the final product. It seemed like my videos had been edited and I didn't get the whole thing in its entirety. Additionally, I noticed that there were captions added to my videos that I don't recall putting there myself.
One thing that really surprised me was that I didn't realize there was a specific time frame to download the digitals before they were lost or I had to pay again to have them stored. I was under the impression that once I had the digital format in my possession, I could download them to any device at any time. This was a bit frustrating for me, as I expected more from the service.
Overall, I have to say that I wasn't very pleased with my experience with iMemories. While it was nice to have my videos converted to digital format, the final product wasn't as clear as I had hoped. Additionally, the added captions and time frame for downloading the digitals were unexpected and frustrating. I would recommend looking into other options before using iMemories.
iMemories Review: Confusion Over Free Shipping & Bulk Discounts Needed
I gotta say, I was a bit confused about the whole "free shipping" thing at iMemories. I mean, who doesn't love free shipping, right? But then I saw that there was a fee for the shipping box, and I was like, "What the heck?" I mean, come on, guys, just be upfront about the costs, ya know?
Anyway, that's not even the main reason I'm writing this review. What I really wanna know is if there's a discount for bulk orders. I've got a ton of stuff I wanna copy, like microcassettes, VHS tapes, those little camcorder tapes, cassette tapes with voicemails from my deceased loved ones, undeveloped Kodak film from the '70s, and even some loose photo negatives and slides. But your ad doesn't really say anything about bulk discounts, and I'm on a fixed income (thanks, Social Security), so $16 per tape is just not gonna cut it for me.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the convenience of having someone else do the copying for me. But if it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg, I might as well just buy my own machines and do it myself (no offense, iMemories). I've actually looked into it, and it seems like it might be a better option for me in the long run.
Anyway, I hope this feedback is helpful in some way. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer or anything, but I think it's important for companies to be transparent about their pricing and to offer discounts for those of us who are on a tight budget. Thanks for listening, iMemories.
iMemories Review: Great Service, But Watch Out for Hidden Costs
I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with iMemories. It was a great idea to convert all my old tapes into digital format, and I'm glad I did it. However, I do have a couple of recommendations for them.
First off, when they say the cost is $14.99, they should stick to it. I got the box right away and sent it back, but then once they received my tape, they notified me that it was going to be another $24.99. That's not cool. They should give you the option of what you want up front, like $40 to convert and download, and that's it. When I ordered the box, it said I could convert any tape for $14.99, but that was false advertising.
The conversion itself was fine, but I did have to chat with customer service a few times because the download wouldn't work after I paid the $24.99. That was frustrating, but they eventually got it sorted out.
Overall, I would use iMemories again if I needed to, but I would definitely make sure I knew all the costs up front. It's a great service, but they need to be more transparent about their pricing.
Disappointing Results from iMemories: A Review of Their Digitization Service
I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out iMemories. I had a bunch of old tapes and films that I wanted to digitize so I could share them with my family and keep them safe for years to come. But man, was I disappointed with the results.
I went through each item I sent them with a fine-toothed comb, and while some of them came out pretty clear and had good sound, the majority of them were a mess. I'm talking blurry footage, weird stripes (horizontal or vertical) that weren't there before, and even some videos that were suddenly in black and white. And don't even get me started on the sound quality. It was like they ran everything through a crappy machine that picked up all kinds of background noise, so the original sound was totally drowned out.
Needless to say, I was pretty heartbroken. I had spent hundreds of dollars on this service, and I was really hoping to use the digitized footage for a memorial for my late husband and a celebration with my family. But now, I don't even know if I can use most of it.
Honestly, I wish I had never sent anything to iMemories. It's just not worth the money or the disappointment.
Navigating imemories.com: A Confusing but Worthwhile Journey
I gotta say, I was pretty confused when I first stumbled upon imemories.com. I mean, I'm no tech genius or anything, but I've been around the block a few times when it comes to computers and stuff. But this website just left me scratching my head.
First off, I couldn't figure out what the heck I was supposed to do. I mean, I think I'm supposed to send in my old tapes or whatever, but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use my own box or if they were gonna send me one. And then what? How much is it gonna cost me? I couldn't find any clear answers on the website.
And let me tell you, that kind of confusion is a real turn-off for me. I've known about imemories.com for over a decade now, but I never bothered to use it because I just couldn't figure out how. And I'm not the only one, I'm sure. How many other folks out there are in the same boat as me?
But hey, I finally decided to take the plunge and give it a shot. I sent in a couple of VHS tapes (yeah, I know, I'm old school) and waited to see what would happen. And you know what? It wasn't half bad.
Sure, there were a few hiccups along the way. I had to call customer service a couple of times to get some clarification on the process. And I gotta admit, I was a little nervous about sending in my precious memories to some company I'd never heard of before. But in the end, it all worked out.
And now I've got all these old home movies digitized and ready to share with my family. It's pretty cool, actually. I can watch them on my computer or even stream them to my TV. And I don't have to worry about those old tapes deteriorating or getting lost or anything.
So yeah, imemories.com might not be the easiest website to navigate. And yeah, there might be some confusion along the way. But if you're willing to stick with it, you might just end up with some pretty sweet memories to cherish.
Disappointing Experience with iMemories: Missing Footage and Short Videos
I gotta say, I'm feeling pretty bummed about my experience with iMemories. I'm not exactly a tech whiz, so some of the fancy talk in their ads went right over my head. And when I finally got my videos back, I was shocked to find that each one only had about 5 minutes of footage on it. I mean, come on, I know those tapes were way longer than that! But how am I supposed to prove it?
To make matters worse, there were two home movies that were missing when I got my originals back. I was really looking forward to being able to edit everything together and make some cool compilations, but with just these little snippets here and there, it's just not worth the money I paid. If I had known what I was getting into, I definitely would have looked into some other, cheaper options.
I hate to say it, but I was pretty disappointed with iMemories. Sorry guys, but I don't think I'll be using your services again.
iMemories Review: Great Quality, Pricey Service with Hidden Fees
I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with iMemories. I mean, it's great to have all my old pictures and videos digitized and saved forever, but dang, it was pricey! I was hoping for some kind of discount or credit for the videos that only had a few minutes of footage on them. I had a whole bunch of little VHS tapes, and some of them were barely used, but I still had to pay the full $19.00 for each one. I've still got a bunch of regular VHS tapes that I want to get done, but I don't know if I can afford it.
The quality of the work was really good, though. I was impressed with how clear and sharp everything looked. But here's the thing that really got me: I thought that once I paid for the service, I would have access to my videos forever. But it turns out that there's a monthly fee if I want to keep them available online. I paid over $800.00 for everything, and now I only get to view them for 60 days without paying more. And if I don't download them onto something else, I'll lose them forever!
Honestly, I don't think this service is for everyone. It's just too expensive and complicated. But if you've got the money and the patience, it's definitely worth it to have all your old memories saved and accessible.
not reciving shipping material
i wanted to have photos put on dvd and i have not recived any shipping materials.this is about a week now.and i have $15.95 charged to my credit card.
Video
I ordered several video's to be converted but I received 1 flash drive with several titles, however they all had only 10 second on each one and they were all the same video clips... Not what I ordered at all and I spend a ton of money for what? Junk do not use this company.
Transferring old video / photo media to disk
My heart is broken. I recently received 4 of my 6 videos I sent in the so called "safekit" to IMemories. One of the missing tapes is of my daughter's Prom in 1994 and impossible to replace.
As if that's not bad enough when I contact IMemories by phone to inquire if they could help find it . Instead they issue a ridiculous claim (I've seen the exact same answer to everyone who has lost videos) saying they checked overhead video while opening the original box and confirm there were only 4 not 6. I would sure love to see that video as I highly doubt it exists. As a matter of fact I'd put money on that.
I think I would know how many videos I personally packed in there and marking the appropriate number on the box.
They lost my videos plain & simple and then insult my intelligence with their nonsensical excuses.
Obnoxious emails that are annoying and unwelcomed
will call you at homes to further annoy you, when you have not used their service.
Horrendous!
Whatever you do just don't use www.imemories.com website! They are the worst service ever and they are not to be trusted. They offered me a 30 days free trial and after I agreed they charged me. Yes, when I signed up I gave them my card details but I had no idea this was a scam. That was the biggest mistake I've ever made and there is no way to get my money back. Their free trial offer is nothing but scam and people who are behind this are criminals! Please, don't believe them!
they are terrible
Imemories is run by an unethical idiot
iMemories is run by an unethical idiot. He stole from investors at his last company (Knowledgenet). And he is in the process of adding investors at iMemories to steal from them too. Mark Rukavina is an unethical businessman. He knows how to build up a company with "virtual" cred, sell it to investors, but then the investors will find out the company is worthless.
I don't know how to get my memories. Now I get a letter saying my content will be deleted? Acct is going to be deleted. How do I keep my content. Please give me my log in information so I can keep it. I don't know how to see it?

On 12-27-18 I requested a box from u with order# SK35953-IMEM to b sent to my address: 163 E. Ray St., Pontiac, Il.61764 at the cost $14.99 per item. Never received the box. Free shipping. Kay Meister My email address is foxmht@yahoo.com
If it's not fraud, then it's a level of incompetence that's hard to believe. I simply wanted to make digital copies of some home movies that were on tape, so that I could put them in iMovie and tweak them for color, etc. I finally got working DVDs, but can't copy them. I tried to download into iMovie, but the files won't copy from the internet, either. (I'm concerned I'll be charged for these useless downloads.) I sent a request for guidance but received no answer. In fairness, a previous complaint I made, because a transfer was done without tracking compensation, was addressed. But one must wonder about quality control.
I am very dissatisfied with the service and with my ONE DVD, for which I ended up essentially paying $80, since they charged for shipping, both to and from, they charged for putting things online so I could see them for 30 days, and they charged me for the one DVD I ordered, which I cannot share or copy. Now I just tried to watch and listen to my $80 DVD and an alert screen popped up to tell me the format of the DVD is not supported. I was able to watch it before. I tried to make a copy (isn' the DVD MINE?) and couldn't, and now can't even open the darn thing. I see the DVD on my desktop, I get the DVD Player icon, and the seconds march by in silence - without the visuals either. The DVD apparently had a time bomb inside or something, so it only lasted a month, or self-destructed when I tried to copy it? Who knows! This is fraud, and they still advertise on Facebook, using a person's name as if she just discovered this wonderful service and wants to share it with everybody. I commented on that link, but noticed my comment is not showing up, only all a completely phony bunch of conversations between "Kathy" and all the people who are interested in finding out more. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
Without belaboring this attitude . I do longer wish to deal with imemories. I destroyed the UPS mailing materials...upon arrival
