Novant Health – Additional unexplained charges for surgical procedures

Dates of surgery: 8/12/2024 & 8/26/2024
Novant billed me for an additional amount of $950.00 for each visit for a total of $1900. Despite numerous conversations and requests for a copy of what the billing consists of, I have received nothing. I set up a payment plan under duress and to protect my credit file. The billing department stated they would continue to work the issue. The billing department conveniently dropped my requests and I still do not know what the "General - 0990" charge is for. I will file a complaint with United HealthCare as well since you do not appear to have proof of the charge.
