New York Blooms Unbelievably poor service

Be wary of ordering from here if you want to actually receive the product you ordered. I specifically ordered the Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin Cookies as a gift for a very dear friend. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are his very favorite and I wanted to send them to him to show how much his friendship means to me. Come to find out, he did NOT receive Oatmeal Raisin cookies, but instead got chocolate chip cookies, which he does not eat and ended up having to give away. The entire point of the gift was completely lost.

When I reached out to customer service for answers, I was told that they reserve the right to switch out items (who does this?). I was never notified of the change and would have canceled the order if I knew that the item I specifically wanted was not going to be sent. What if the receiving party had dietary restrictions or an allergy? The fact that no one reached out to say that the cookies we ordered were not available shows a flagrant disregard for their customers.

The fact that I then received an email asking me to review Oatmeal Raisin Cookies that were never received shows an even further lack of communication on their end. The right hand is obviously not communicating with the left hand here.

I would NOT recommend ordering from here.

Recommendation: STEER CLEAR

My family ordered flowers and balloons from NY Blooms. They charged $20 for 2-day shipping but the package arrived 3 weeks late. The flowers looked nothing like the photo advertised online, were very poor quality and arrived ruined in the box. The balloons did not arrive and were substituted with moldy cupcakes with the Stop n' Shop label still on them. Tried contacting them via all email addresses listed on their website, all the emails bounced back. Also tried contacting them via phone and social media - no response.

I purchased the following items: Opici Chianti Straw 1 $20.00 A Classy Affair Flowers & Prosecco Gift1 Delivery Date: [protected] 1 $69.99 the delivery date was supposed to be 1/23, the order was delivered on 2/3. I was informed on 1/29 that a label was created, there was no movement on the tracking number until 2/2. The flowers arrived dead (i have pictures to show) and the extra bottle of chianti i ordered was not delivered. I have been reaching out to customer service and they have done nothing to rectify the situation (refund the amount for the wine or ship another bottle). I believe these people are a scam. They will not speak to you in person and constantly avoid any issues that come up.

I placed an order through this gift basket vendor on 1/23 for a total of $152.33 which included a small package of flowers and a $71.00 upcharge from their standard $6 bottle of bad wine to a bottle of The Macallan Gold scotch. Not only did the order arrive two weeks late which negated the purpose of sending the gift for the recipients father's funeral, but the order contained the $6 bottle of wine (which the recipient doesn't even drink) instead of the $71 bottle of scotch that I paid for. When I emailed the vendor about the issue, they emailed me back with the company's policy stating that they "reserve the right to substitute such items with similar products of equal or greater value". The vendor has not responded to any of my further inquiries since February 17th. The fact that the company would think it's ok to steal my money and deliver something that I did not even order is, quite frankly, appalling. I would have understood if they delivered a substitute scotch at the same cost, but to deliver a cheap wine that the recipient doesn't drink, especially when I paid a specific $71 upcharge for an expensive scotch is simply not right.

I placed an order and paid excessive fees to ensure it was delivered on time and it was still delivered 2 days late. I did not receive the items I ordered. The champagne was a different brand and the flowers were nowhere near what was pictured. I called and left three messages and NEVER RECEIVED A CALLBACK! I then attempted to e-mail them regarding my concerns and every e-mail was bounced back stating the e-mail address was not valid, I e-mailed 4 different e-mail addresses.

I ordered an arrangement and paid for overnight delivery to arrive on 4/23. The company did not release the package for shipping and the birthday gift arrived on 4/28. The company refused to compensate for this mistake and has not returned any emails or phone calls except one. In which they told me I should have the "wherewithal" to expect delays. Nowhere on their site did it say they may experience delays - and a refund should be applied. They refuse. The flowers arrived dead - since they sat in a warehouse for 5 days.

This company seems to be providing services that it does not ever intend to deliver on. OR it will provide items that were not agreed upon. I ordered something for delivery that was never delivered. When trying to reach customer service the line is a robotic message asking for me to leave a message for a call back. Call back never happens, email inquires never returned. I question if this company is even a real company at all or a scam.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered on Jan 13 (flowers and bubbles) for delivery Jan 14. No notice from company that this might not happen. Jan 14, I left 2 voicemails (there is no active line that customer service answers, you can only leave voicemails). Also sent emails to the email addresses on their website, all of which bounced back as non existent email addresses. First heard back from Jincy on Jan 15, an email to say "some orders may inevitably be delayed by as much as 1-3 business days". Ok, that takes me to Jan 16 based on my order date, still enough time for my item to arrive before the recipient moves on Jan 17. Since then, I have received over 5 emails from representative to say that the order cannot be cancelled, as it has already been picked up by shipment company. Its currently Jan 26. The order status still reflects that it hasn't been picked up by shipment co (even though representative assures me most days that it has been- how are flowers that were ready to be picked up on Jan 13 even possibly still alive on Jan 26, if in fact this is a truthful email, which we all know it is not). $124 later, this has been a nightmare. Dealing with this company and its rubbish updates and obvious lies is exhausting. Fake reviews on their website too.

I ordered two baskets for delivery to same address one double orchid with wine the other a yucca plant with wine. Both were delivered together and in a timely fashion however the orchid was a single stem bent over in packaging the yucca was replaced by a small bamboo plant and the pot completely broken. The wine in both was supplied with no issues. The customer service team totally dismissive apparently my choice of delivery was not advised due to perishable goods although they were fine just not what I ordered and bent/broken and according to their terms the good can be substituted so no resolution offered.

We bought flowers which we upgraded with 24 extra stems, 6 chocolate cupcakes, and chocolate-covered strawberries as a birthday gift for my elderly grandma for her birthday (who we haven't seen for over a year due to the pandemic). Not only did she not receive her gift on time (it came two days after her birthday) but she received a small crappy bouquet, some weird piece of cake, and some rotten fruit.

I purchased a $163.99 gift basket on Jan 2nd that was supposed to delivered the next business day. It is now 10 business days later and I've received no communication from the company about the order. I've called three times and the first two times I received an email response telling me that it should ship within 3-7 days. It did not. I asked for a refund on the third call and received this response "Our terms and conditions prohibit us from refunding an (***) order under these circumstances. However, we can arrange for the order to be delivered to an alternate address, contingent on whether the order has already been dispatched from the warehouse; address changes must be confirmed before the order has been dispatched and/or prior to receiving a shipping confirmation." I do not want the order delivered to a different address. I would like a refund because they did not provide the service I paid for.

I ordered from this company, the product was never delivered, and they will not respond to my or help now that they have my money. Any email sent to the email listed on their website (___***) bounces back and says the address is no longer valid. The one person I got a hold of said it's not their problem and won't respond to any of my messages. This company is a scam!

We ordered the Kitchen Secrets Collection basil plant from New York Blooms with greeting card on 1/4, for a scheduled delivery date of 1/5 (order # ***) and a total charge of $51.26, which included product cost; delivery fee; and NY county, state, and Manhattan city taxes. The plant has still not been delivered as of today (1/17) after 2 attempts to contact the company (twice by phone -- left voicemail). The charge was accepted by *** in New Jersey for the amount of $51.26.

I ordered flowers, champagne,cake basket from New York Blooms, The cake was a pile of mash, the wood cutting board was broken in two, and the flowers were nothing like was pictured on their website. I reached out to them in regards to the condition of the cake, which they in turn said, it should have been delivered overnight. I reached out to them about their false advertising in regards to their flowers, which they stated they can't guarantee what will be sent. I reached out to them via email AGAIN about the shape of the gift in regards to being destroyed in shipping, and they will not reply.

I ordered a gift basket of a bottle of wine, 3-5 gourmet items, and an orchid. As soon as I ordered it I realized that my home address overrode the gift address and emailed to see if it was possible to change the address, I was told it was not. That's ok, things happen and it was my error and turned out to be a blessing. The package arrived and had several issues: The orchid was smashed and bent. The flower itself was dead and the leaves were creased and brown. The 3-5 gourmet items were indeed 2 - a box of crackers and a jar of salsa, neither of which I chose. The wine was as advertised. I of course had to replace the gift as it was for a person's birthday. When I emailed them they asked for photos, which is fair. I sent photos and they told me that this happens in delivery and that I could replace the items with non-perishibles. When I explained that the gift was already replaced and that a refund was desired I was told that I accepted the terms of condition when I ordered and that no refunds are offered. It's clear that they are grifters from the reviews online. I offered to send back the items that were non-perishables (crackers, wine, and salsa) and was told that they would send me brownies to replace the items (?). Poor customer service and deceptive practices seem to be the business model.

I purchased a basket for my attending physician for the holidays, spent 107$ total for a gift basket packaged on a wood cutting board which I paid extra for. Was supposed to contain brie cheese, nuts, olive oil, crackers, chocolate covered potato chips and strawberries and other fruit among others, which I paid extra for also. Placed order December 20th and they allowed me to choose shipping for December 23rd. Basket was delivered 1/6, contain Tates cookies, box of biscuits, box of chocolate covered nuts and box of crackers in a small basket. Could have went to grocery store myself and spent 20-25$ for this. This company is a complete SCAM! No one is answering my calls or emails. They had no problem taking my 107$ total/for extra costs and shipping etc. This needs to be shut down. To do this on the holidays is a shame and scammed numerous people not to mention health care workers during COVID19 pandemic too.

New York Blooms Item was not delivered

Item was not delivered. There were no updates on the website or email confirmation of the order indicating delays. The website noted guarantees. The order had not shipped prior to the delivery date; when the order did not arrive and there were no further updates I contacted the company to request a cancellation and refund as it appears the order hadn't shipped. The company emailed stating "Our terms and conditions prohibit us from refunding an order under these circumstances" of which was not previously stated during any point of the ordering process. They declined to refund or cancel the order.

I placed an order with this company on Tuesday May 5th at 12:16pm for Mother's Day. Their website allows you to choose a specific delivery date and says they do same day delivery. After placing the order I emailed customer service to confirm it would be delivered on my selected day 5/10. Naima from customer service responded my selected date was 5/10 and it would be delivered accordingly. It was in fact not delivered, and has not been scanned via UPS since 5/9. This package includes perishable items, flowers & glass bottles. I don't see how a package in transit that long will arrive fresh & safe to consume. The company has refused to give me a refund for failure to complete the order. No one answers their customer service # or their online chat. If you look on google there are many reviews that will state the same issues I had. Had I seen the reviews prior to ordering, I never would've placed the order with this company. I believe they are fraudulent and scamming &stealing from all of their customers.

New York Blooms I have tried to call and email New York Blooms daily since May 4th without a response back

I have tried to call and email New York Blooms daily since May 4th without a response back. When calling their customer service line, no one is ever available to take your call and you need to leave a message. My wife and I placed an order on May 4 and received confirmation at 6:01pm from New York Blooms order number ***. Item selected for delivery was French Soiree Floral Gourmet Box Set. We selected FedEx 3 business day service as it was guaranteed to arrive by 8pm Friday May 8th. Company website states that this was guaranteed and they would refund shipping charges if not received on time. Order was delivered on May 12th at around 5pm. I would like these shipping charges refunded. Item received was also not what was pictured or described. We received a black and red gift basket, not the pink one shown in the website selected for Mothers Day. Cookies sent were not macaroons, rather short bread chocolate chip cookies. Bottle of wine selected was sent correctly. Flowers were in poor condition as it was not received timely.
