The Nelsons were the most wonderful & caring people they truly put families first I would highly 100% recommend them to anyone who ever looses a love one they are absolutely EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT ?

I think Nelson Memorial Gardens and her husband are the greatest. They walked me through everything. They were so nice and took such good care of my mom. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They are the best. I highly recommend them.

Nelson Memorial Gardens were professional, kind and compassionate to our family during the loss of our son. They went out of their way to meet our needs as we prepared for the funeral of our loved one. I saw a team of dedicated professionals working together with sensitivity and warmness of hearts to console us during the most difficult time of our lives. I am thankful we chose them for our son's homegoing service. They will forever be in our hearts for the exceptional service they provided for our family.

The absolute worst experience, I never ever was ready for and did not enjoy going through. In the event of one of the greatest loss, having to process her being gone and of trying to plan and have services for my Mother. My heart is still broken that she is not here, and to had write this review, and look and think back on my experience with Nelson Memorial Gardens. I attempted to work with a funeral director named *** since my mother was already there from the hospital it just would have been so much more convenient and I would have felt better with the feeling of family. *** was so rude and cold I simply do not understand why she took on this profession without the heart and compassion to conduct business in this field! She was very evil and even went to the extent of saying, unfortunately I still have my mother. She then proceeded to tell me services were way more than what my other family members were charged for my grandmothers funeral, my aunts, and two of my cousins! It was so traumatic FOR ME. She said for the assistance that I did qualify for, that my mother only could get a graveside burial. That broke my heart and made me feel as if my mother was still suffering even after she ascended on, it completely and utterly shattered and rocked me to the core. Being that it is to the funeral homes discrepancy to offer what services or if they do. So that was kind of strange to me, your calling yourself my family but wouldn't do what another funeral home went over and beyond and did for me! She knew I was getting assistance and knows the rules and guidelines for people with assistance from the government by doing what she did. She even helped the first time of trying to get help through *** She's very different and I am not one to judge for I love everybody! She then knew she was not supposed to take any payments from us and to waive them as courtesy, even after her husband spoke to my uncle and told him the fees would be waived she went over him and held a *** over my family's head to release my mother! I would like my gpa to get reimbursed for he took out a high interest loan right then and there because we could not afford it. Also did I mention they are supposed to be our blood family as well?! Anywho every other funeral home I spoke to says when you get assistance they know not to ask for money but she did and then proceeded to tell the funeral I chose for my mother to be moved to which then prolonged the process even more because they no longer wanted to work with us because of her telling them about the *** she held over us. DO NOT conduct business with her, she does a horrible job on the make up, she is really rude and non traditional. Not once did she ask me or my sibling to sit down and meet with us to make arrangements which I assumed was the normal process of making an arrangement for a loved one. I wish I could leave no stars but I don't have the option! I am seeking a refund for my grandpa she was wrong! And so evil! This lady has a bad reputation when it comes to business she doesn't see a vulnerable sad, mourning daughter she seen nothing but dollar signs and did not all try to work with me or accommodate my situation. I've also heard from family members the services she provided to them were also unacceptable and even cost them money from them paying out of pocket! She then proceeds to tell my grandfather that he could not speak with her husband(who originally owned the funeral home, and again IS FAMILY) because ***, no matter what you talk to my husband about h*** still side with me. Was said and it just all was very disrespectful, uncomfortable and just plain out malicious. EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW! The hardest time in my life, she made sure to make it harder taking advantage of life's scenario and just normal human reactions. Taking advantage of my grief, mixed emotions, processing the loss of my now *** my best friend and someone whom I'll never get to hug or kiss or see in the physical world again, MY MOM. I just praise God he got me through it, took the lead as I needed and didn't even have to worry about any of she was adamant about but unprofessional with. For another example the very first day my mom left the hospital in their care, I spoke with *** the following day 08/10, we spoke about having my mother embalmed because my brother got sick and I knew we needed the extra time for him to recover and for family to come in from out of town. So .. for some odd reason she waited to embalm my mom on her time so she slipped up and asked me again so I got frustrated, and reminded her of me already asking to have her embalmed, this was also worked out with her husband too, stating these fees would be waived!(Alongside or holding or transporting fees too, to be waived) All in all! Please refund my grandfather Nelson Memorial Gardens, you guys knew my grandfather did not understand why there were fees when I was getting assistance! You went around me and YOUR HUSBAND? But that's fine. I'd also even appreciate a long awaited apology for how cruel you were to me and MY family, with that being said, thank you for your services for what you guys did and did not have to offer. Said with nothing but LOVE, God bless.
