N26 Bank / Number26 account/refund

So i had an n26 account. Was good for a couple weeks. One of my payments just got took out and did not get refunded. The bank did not co operate properly at all, disgusting customer service. What kind of bank has no number, instead have to use a live chat, were the person we have to talk to is no help, stupid! Few days later they shut down my account down for no reason. I have contacted them many times, emailed them. They are purposely ignoring me and have not given back my money. Clearly they are a scam.

N26 Bank / Number26 more than 3 month delay for replacement credit card

I lost my n26 mastercard in September while in Ghana. I have gone through hell to get a replacement. For months N26 support staff stated that the card would be sent to me in here, and they promised to send me a tracking number. Then last Thursday N26 send an email stating that the card had been mailed to my German address. I called to say that N26 had made a mistake but support said it had no record of my card being sent to Ghana. Then suddenly it arrived here today (3 December). N26 never did send a tracking number.

After many years of banking with N26 my trust is gone. This is not a bank you I can count on.

The problem is all customer support. There is no number to call. The chat support is painfully slow. Once you finally get someone they are either stupid or incompetent. They are also uncaring, insensitivity and just plain rude.

On the horrible day my wallet was stolen last September, I contacted N26 customer support chat to ask how I could get a replacement. A customer support employee named Maeve said it would be impossible. She also said that I would have to cancel my whole account and find another bank because I was not located in Germany (even though I am a German citizen). Not only did I not have any way of getting cash but now I was told I no longer had a bank account. My day went from bad to disastrous.

Maeve later said that she would not close my account and that a new mastercard would be sent to me in Ghana (though she never apologized). I was shaken but grateful Then a few days later someone found my empty wallet with my N26 bank card still in it, but it was cracked. I could use it but I still felt unsafe; it could stop working at any minute. I needed the replacement.

And so began the painful, three and a half month process of N26 support promising it would come countless times and promising to give me a tracking number countless times. When I contacted customer support on Thursday I chatted to someone named Naniso. That experience was even worse than my experience with Maeve. She could find no record of my request for a replacement card and said she would send a new replacement to my address in Germany. She could not understand that I was in Ghana.

Naniso repeatedly ignored my requests to speak to her supervisor. She was rude and arrogant. She disconnected the chat saying that I was not answering her questions.

After that I gave up all hope on N26 and started looking for an alternative. I had been one of N26's biggest fans. Now the name makes me quiver with fear. It turns out that N26 is only great until you have a problem that requires the help of a human. And you don't want to be in the middle of nowhere when that happens. N26 will leave its customers to die.

I have opened an account with Fidor. Let's see if they are any better.

N26 Bank / Number26 customer service is non-existent!

Dear Sirs

My account with N26 bank, Berlin, was terminated by the bank on 26th October 2018.

Since then I have sent numerous emails to their support office (mostly handled by Elizabeth) with no resolution. I am trying to get my 100€ balance returned to my account at Gibraltar International Bank; this money was transferred from this account and all I ask is that it is transferred to the account that sent it.

I have a reference No. from the bank: [protected]

My bank have confirmed that this is a SEPA compliant account; it is also the only account I have in my name.

I am an old age pensioner and, whilst not a huge sum to the bank, 100€ is an important amount to me and I am simply requesting that this amount is transferred back to my account immediately and a proof of transfer sent to me, Peter Mitry on email: [protected]@mitry.com.

N26 Bank / Number26 we have sent money to a n26 bank in germany that was a scam, need this returned

Hi, I am trying to contact yourselves to recall funds we sent to N26 Bank account in Germany. We received the attached invoices that we believed to be legit but the person who the money was sent to, hacked into our emails and cloned these invoices from previous ones we had. As a result we have sent two payments to someone we shouldn't have for €51, 000 and €41, 000. As you can appreciate this is a lot of money and we need this to be returned as a matter of urgency. We have filed a report with the Fraud Police Investigation team in the UK but they have come back several weeks later and stated we now need to contact N26 bank in Germany and the German police authorities as this is outside their jurisdiction. The payments were made on the 17th May 2018 and 21st May 2018 from our business Barclays account and our bank have tried to recall but been unsuccessful contacting your bank for recall. Both payments were sent to the following bank details

N26 Bank / Number26 opening a bank account

I applied to open a bank account. I downloaded the app.

I answered all of the questions. I took pictures of my passport and myself and uploaded them. I was told that someone was checking my documents and that I would receive a response in a few days.

After weeks with no response, I submit a complaint via email. I am told someone will get back to me shortly. No one responds.

Today, I logged in to the app. For the THIRD time, I am told that I need to verify my identity.

N26 won't reject you because then you have a right to file an appeal. Instead, what they do is to delete your documents from the system every few days to make it seem as if you have not provided the necessary documents.

I am going to report them anyway.

They closed the account and take you money with 0 explanations
The worst costumer service and all operations managed by (I imagine) trainees. No customer support at all. You send an email, they don't reply. You use Facebook's Messenger, they don't reply. You chat through the app with someone who roughly speaks English and the answer is... "I can't help you, is out of my reach".

The specific situation with me is the following one. I made a transfer of a significant amount to a German lawyer, in Germany, to his German bank. I received an email from N26 [Ticket#[protected]] asking for documentation justifying the payment. It was not like a transfer to an Iranian living in Afganistan, but fair enough: in a couple of hours I send them contracts, etc. But they had already closed my account! And five days after replying to them and sending complaints through all few means available... still no reply. My account has a confortable amount of money and it's closed and they don't reply nor give me back the money.

I'm receiving mails and calls from clients saying they tried to pay me and the answer was "closed account". They take my money, damage my reputation and don't care about it. Despicable

N26 Bank / Number26 useless

Hi everyone.
I am here to warn you about this bank. It's very useless when it comes to almost everything.
Setting up an account with them is a real headache and may take forever to do it. I haven't finished yet. I spent a whole day trying to do it, but I didn't succeed. Called and emailed them, got no reply.
One of their emails stated that they would call me back, but I can't wait for that long. I better look for different offers from banks...

I have been trying to ipen an account for N26.
I am blocked because of personal things.
I have been trying to reset my password, different times. I have not been getting the verification codes on gmail. What can i do.
Iwould like to start all over, but it seems impossible to do so

Financial Chargeback Institutions are always too late..too slow.. especially if you make your transactions via credit card. Yes, chargeback isn't a handy procedure, why don't you get at info@ finance-recovery.com with your claims.

Useless and liars absolutely disgusting . Lies lies and lies then cut off . Just try to speak to the people who email, called legal or back office, just try to contact them . 30 emails ignored, a same day transfer held for no reason and but off by chat and telephone when j asked about it. Blatant liars
