I am a member of the great Middletown Moose (501). I had a transfer from the Trenton, Ohio Moose (330), approximately two years ago. I am only now responding, because quite a few of the members said they would like to see me come back. When this pandemic started, I was a member of the Trenton Moose. We have a Texas Hold Em tournament every Monday evening. It was posted on the Facebook page of the Trenton Moose card games were being halted for a couple weeks. It was posted by Lisa Ridenour that a certain lady at the Moose had tested positive for Covid. She told everybody who wanted to contact her, the reason why. She also posted the woman's name, who actually had been the day barmaid. So when I posted on the website, the woman's name, she became infuriated. So there was a little jawing going back and forth. I was informed by the barmaid at the time I was being banned, for my free speech. This was all Lisa's doing. She thinks she runs the place, even though she is just the wife of Dale Ridenour (president). She told me I would have to go before the Moose board. I was going to be out of town at the time, so I never showed up. So I supposedly am banned. I am filing this complaint because I was unjustly banned from this Moose, and I want my membership back. She has no authority to ban anyone. This is purely discrimination. She is the only roadblock.

Instead of pulling me aside privately, bartender Missi Wright blurted out loudly, in front of other customers, and as soon as I walked in the door, that my dues are due by the end of the month (which I already knew). I felt humiliated.

I am writing regarding the unannounced (save the note on the door) closing of the Moose Lodge #2138 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

At the General Meeting on January 13, 2022, membership brought up a number of concerns including:

- No financial report available (none in December 2021 either)

- No Inventory being taken

- The running of surprise background checks being run on long time

members, without any reason or knowledge

- Those members that were deemed suspended were notified in person, at

the lodge in front of the other members.

- One member was on duty as a bartender and asked to work two hours

before receiving his notice

- The audio recording of all members conversations in the social quarters

The lodge Administrator does not attend any meetings and we were promised answers in two weeks (January 27, 2022). Sadly, the lodge has clcosed up and no one knows why or will share any information.

This was obviously not an overnight decision, but during the few days of operation in January and renewals for dues were happily accepted.

The entire situation has been handled poorly particularly for a faith-based fraternity.

The membership of #2138 deserves to know what is happening at our lodge. Thank you.

I resided in the upstairs apt. 230 w 10th st. I was not paid for my time clean or bartending but paid $400 a month rent. Due to covid, fell behind in payments gave $1000 in Aug. My rent than was raised to $1200. NOV. I was EVICTED by Mike Larky & 2 sheriff's escorted me out . Mike & Carol Ott Bill Taylor took Everything! I had & disposed of it. Furn., Cloth., Jewelry etc. I am now homeless. PLEASE ADVISE [protected].

Had slobbering drunk offend and try to make out with my 87 yr old Mom tonight, ... He could barely stand and they let him drive away, .. they threw me and my Mom out too, ... handles poorly, .. governor was drunk too, ... I WANT MY DUES REFUNDED.

Why can't the board of Directors terminate there Manager without the permission of National? His inability to manage the Lodge is obvious to most
and his refusal to issue a spread sheet so that funds can be traced to name a few. I could go on and on, but at this time it seems fruitless. The Board wants him gone and many of the members have wanted it for some time.

July 2021 made a complaint regarding my mother in law at the time was 90 years young and in error paid the wrong amount, instead of $30 she paid $200. My mother in law asked for a refund when she realized she sent the wrong amount and was told they would just use the money for future membership dues. Not only did Moose International deny the claim, they said they had no record of my mother in call contacting them. Her health has declined in fact she is in hospice and Moose International did not care. Not only did they keep $170 (at the time) of her money, they continue to send her invoices to pay the membership. She just received the invoice "It is time to renew your membership". The organization has kept her over payment and continues to bill yearly for membership. Attempted to resolve directly with the person who told me before too bad too sad and no response. Effective immediately STOP ALL COMMUNICATION. DO NOT CALL or SEND ANY WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE. You have proved over and over taking advantage of the elderly.

Since joining Jacksonville Beach lodge 1558 I have never been given a date or time when I can go to a meeting. It seems that this lodge is very cliquish and will not let new members have any input into the lodge.
Going to Floyd Virginia Lodge we were welcome with open arms and made to feel at home. There has not been any communication from the Jacksonville Beach Lodge at this point with my brother-in-law and I who have joined.
Please inform the lodge that new members one input and that's why we joined the lodge I belong to the moose 52 years ago in Fairmont West Virginia and re-joined in Jacksonville Beach Florida and may not join again because of the unfriendly lodge that I have joined.

This woman show total favoritism. She blocked me in the restroom and would not let me leave till I agreed to talk to her in her office. Then she said she had complaints of my smell of weed. She could stand right there and smell me and I did not. She would not tell me who said it cause she always favors them and not the truth. She wrote me up for getting upset over it.
This woman is so unprofessional.

2010 has been going down the tubes for years and no one has come to check it out! Honey needs to be audited ! She is only concerned about gambling has been for years! She was there everyday when we were closed for covid she had to keep the machines rolling along with her buddy Larry Murphy ! The lodge is going down! They want members to fund a new air unit asking 40. Per member, what happens with the money if the lodge closes are they gonna give the money back or will honey go down to the casinos and gamble it away? There's been people let go because of the family that runs the lodge !? It's like why aren't you people dong your job to keep the lodges open! For years 2010 has been a feeding ground for thieves !

My name is Dr. Angela Olsen. I am thel administrator of Lodge 2208 in Harrison, AR. I have asked 4 top individuals at Moose International for assistance in dealing with our terr mgr's acts of discrimination & retaliation against us since 9/5/21 to no avail. Unscheduled meetings have been held without the board. Locks have been changed & accts locked, yet no proper procedures in accordance to Moose International's generl laws have been followed. Our board has asked for financial assistance due to COVID and support in stopping the terr mgr illegal actions towards us. Please put us in contact with someone who follows the laws and will help us be successful rather than hold us responsible for the same issues from the same people when we started which we have weed out per our charge. I can provide timelines of said events.

I recently made a call to Moose international regarding a recent reminder for my dues. I was paid until 7/3/24 as shown on my current card. I spoke with Carol who explained charter and lodge dues. Why was $90.00 not refunded? I am requesting a refund of my overpayment immediately. I would never want you to extend my "charter" dues until 2027. This should have been a choice of the paid member, not a board. My paid dues are a contract. I wouldn't want to believe an organization such as the Moose would change a contract without my notification.

I am a Sidney, OH Moose member and have been since 1983. I am also a Eagle member since 2018. I was sitting at the Eagles bar having a private conversation with my friends. Yes we were talking about the barmaid but quietly. The barmaid turned around and said if you're going to talk about me do it to my face. Well we were talking about her actions at the Moose where she is also a barmaid and board member! I have ran a club before and I know this is NOT professional. She has continued going around to the customers at the Eagles complaining about the Moose Lodge and telling the customers the Moose's business and their board meetings incidents. I find this behavior unacceptable and frankly hope you do too! She has been warned at the Eagles when bartending that she needs to "KEEP HER MOUTH SHUT AND STAY OUT OF PEOPLE"S BUSINESS" I honestly wanted to see her fired but help is hard to find! Please adhere to my complaint.

I reside at 230 w 10th st whitefish Mt. I bartend and maintain cleaning and/or deliveries. A 3 day notice by Mike Larky was posted on my door to vacate in 3 days. I am not paid for any time I put in for any services. Also, they placed a paddle lock on my bedroom door. I would like to speak to someone in this matter.

I filed a complaint but haven't heard a word in a week
I was given a letter in person 8/6/21
Telling I can contact the general governor but no information on his contact information. The letter also states the compliance board can make the decision now. Even though I have 60 days I'm confused?
I feel this has become person. Scott Keene the governor a years ago started the whole thing. He's no longer governor but his wife Jude Keene runs the moose.
Scott as governor announced 3 years ago that my husband Mark Miller. Had a heart attack from cocaine use. My husband has never used drugs.
I was arrested on 10/2/20 for position of cocaine. I was subscribed Adderall for years for energy and focus. They call it hillbilly cocaine. My doctors passed away so on occasion I used cocaine. The Keenes were spreading rumors all through the moose since my arrest. During the time the 1041 was being remodeled only their close friends were allowed in. She made her brags about getting me out of the moose. My person use didn't affect them. I never used at the moose it was one for getting through the day. But sitting in their shoes they didn't know my story.
I had been diagnosed with a liver condition and diabetes that's why I was do exhausted. I've been sober and clean of drugs since September 28th.
I had for an intervention in my life July a year ago. I was arrested and it's been the next thing to happen to me.
I need onformation of writing to keep my membership. If I can't keep it life while go on great I'm sure.

This is my second note, that I have sent, About Debbie Pagan, I was in the moose in lewiston mi on sat and again for the third time this barmaid wife of the govoner, has had it in for me since the beginning and I am sick and tired of her terrible attitude, there is a conflict of interest here, she is weilding power over people, and dictating everything, because she is the wife of the President / Gov, this makes it ok. A nasty peice of work, if this is based on my national heritage being Irish, I will drag this through the courts, untill I get a satisfactory apoligy, she refused to serve me, Because I moved a barstool from one end of the bar, to the other, and then she made a mountain out of a mole hill, I did say I was sick of this [censored]t, referring to her constant harrassment, Well, If this is reason to refuse me a beer, then we are living in very bad times. This person needs to be fired permanatly there is a shortage of bartenders so that on its own is a problem. this is a clique that runs this club sadly so do not expect any cooperation when its levelled at one of there own and please investagate this because I am not happy at all the embarassment among others who where in shock, regarding her attitude.[protected]

My Complaint is : Do you think it's a family oriented, When you have grown men wearing panties at a womanless show in the ballroom ! I didn't become a member for crapped like this neither did my wife ! And you wonder why your're always begging for members .Henry Co Moose Lodge has been going down hill for awhile ! The entertainment committee can do better than this ! Or I want be going back ! Junk like this only make the news why do we have to see it !

In my opinion the MOOSE club took advantage of an elderly woman. In error Jean sent the wrong check to the MOOSE club for her membership dues. Instead of paying the current rate as of June 2021 $30 she paid $200 which was meant for another company. When she realized what she had done she immediately called and was told they would apply the extra to future years. At the time Jean was 90+ years old. Jean since then had a stroke and resides in an assistant living facility in Elgin Illinois. She received the updated membership card paid through 11/30/2028. Family member called and explained the above and after talking to several people (Lisa and Carol) was told the membership fees are non-refundable. Carol confirmed the membership could not be used by family, Jean does not have access to the lodge (separate membership) and Jeans current membership has no benefit. In my opinion Jean has been a victim of elder financial abuse by the MOOSE. Apparently, the membership changed and Jean was not notified. This is a perfect example of Elder Financial Abuse.

My name is Cynthia Bowser, member number [protected]. I was told, as were other female members of Lodge 1577, that we should pay women's dues for 10 years at the lower rate because when 1577 became One Lodge, our dues would transfer. So, several of us did just that, acting on this trusted person's advice. That information was incorrect. I emailed the help desk to see if my funds could be transferred to the One Lodge membership renewal that is due 6/30/2021. I was emailed by Stephanie Postlewait that this could not be done and my money not refunded. I checked the Moose website and nowhere does it state that there is a no refund policy. I have been a member in good standing since 2005 and have been a volunteer there for that long. If my membership cannot be transferred or monies refunded, I will consider legal recourse. My father in law was the Governor of the Reisterstown Moose Lodge for years. It was a respected organization. Now I am beginning to feel differently.

Renewed my membership in March for 3 years online (paid $75.00) as I have done for years. Receive my card my membership states i am good for till March 31, 2022. I think all is well. The beginning of June I receive a new card telling me my member is only good for 1 year. I call the international and was told there are a lot of people complaining about a change that was implemented. I know nothing nor did I get any notification about a change. I find out my membership is only for one year. I ask for a refund for the $51.00 since I paid for 3 years. The moose refused to refund my money. I am being told they put it for the Mooseheart and other activities. This is not what I paid for and I want my $51.00 back. You stole my money. You applied my money to something I did not agree to. There was nothing online when i renewed stating my money was going to other activites. I promise I will tell everyone (media) of your shady practices until I get my $51.00 refunded. Have the courtesy and do the right thing and refund the money.
