i have been a member of the moose for over 40 years. I have been reading some of the complaints on the internet and I am very disappointed to see that 0% have been resolved. This is sad. I was written up and told i could keep my membership but would have to leave the club i have been a member of for so long. I am no longer allowed to go in there. I was written up for voicing my opinion about a contest that was held there. I was not the only person to have something to say about how unfair it was. over 1/2 the people there that evening said how it was unfair. the winner of course was an officer and his wife. I was told to attend a meeting. And I did... Only to have this very same officer lie. He lied several times. I find this very inappropriate for an officer. This officer has run me down so many times. meanwhile his wife is smoking pot in the smoke area. I have video of that. I was actually out there while she was smoking and 2 members ask if that was marijuana. They said they had to leave because if they were to be tested at their jobs they didn't want it to show up. I don't feel this is right that members who pay their dues are afraid to be there because an officers wife is allowed to do whatever she wants. There are certain people there that every other word is mother f-er... officers ignore it. The lies told at the meeting by this person are really upsetting. And I was very truthful that night. But yet I was told I couldn't bring certain things up, but yet this officer was bringing up my business that was outside the lodge. He was also telling me how I should spend my money. (which is none of his business.) I love the Moose. I love the good it does. But why is it that you don't protect your members? I can no longer go into my hometown lodge to visit with friends. And it seems there is no one to turn to for help. This is very sad. 41 years and just like that , a person doing wrong himself who has a grudge against you can just tell you your done. I sure don't wish this on anyone else.

Desired outcome: I would like this decision reversed. I have already become a member of another logde but i would like to be able to go into a club where all my friends are. And where my father was a member and officer all his life until his passing.

We're having similar issues at 455. The current administrator and his wife are running our lodge like it's their family run business. Voice your opinion and he or his wife will try and squeeze you out. Admins wife was smoking pot right outside the entrance door and we could smell it inside. Lots of hypocrisy on the moose.
