fired for voicing my opinion on the governor, board, and social quarters manager drinking during board meetings and big events.
Recently we had a big wedding at the moose lodge 875 in Mitchell SD and we had over 10 volunteers including officers and governor and our social quarters manager. Every one of them was drinking alcohol while volunteering for free . The board members drink at every board meeting they hold although the woman of the moose are not allowed to.
We had 400 ppl at this wedding and not one officer of the lodge was sober or not drinking. It is common practice for volunteers to get to drink for free in the social quarters when volunteering. When I confronted the social quarters manager and the board was told by another employee that I printed out the bylaws and was going to report it at last nights meeting they called me this morning over speaker phone and terminated my employment. I have been a member in Tucson for 4 years now, and do not feel comfortable going any more because I am constantly being touched and grabbed in very inappropriate ways from officers there I think they think they are untouchable and I bec to find out how to report them. These men once particularly has made me very uncomfortable, he's gotten in my car trying to go home with me, he leaves the Moose very intoxicated nightly, then drives home. He has cornered me several times, I feel unsafe there. Please help me I have many friends that have had the same encounter with him as well.
Moose Lodges are subjected to US Laws. We are Americans as well as Moose Family. I always tell people to contact your local Experts in law in many cases they;re free and if warranted cases and complaints are elevated to a higher setting in this case District Courts where Lodges and Bi-laws and those with serious complaints are on equal footing.

I am not renewing my membership at lodge 1126 because of Jim Galagher. He is rude and obnoxious. Many of the members are not renewing for the exact same reason. He posts or likes foul things on facebook. He scolds the members on a regular basis. He scared 17 potential members that came in to see if they wanted to hire the karaoke host for their class reunion all in the same day for screaming that we dont allow weapons in the lodge. They never came back.
