I called them up to get rid of the mold in my basement. I told them I needed the mold removed and mentioned that I might have to move my room around if necessary. Since I couldn't be there, I thought they would just eliminate the mold and make my small storage room look better. But instead of being honest with me, they completely gutted my room and left it like that. They claimed that the paperwork they sent me didn't mention replacing the drywall. I felt scammed at that moment because I'm not a contractor and don't know much about this kind of work. I feel like they overcharged me for the job and left my room in a worse state without any solution. They should have been upfront about it so I could have prepared to have the drywall put back up. They also didn't fix the underlying problem that caused the mold, so now I have to stay longer to figure out how to fix the room. This has added more stress and travel for me since I live out of town. How can they claim to eliminate the mold if they don't fix the problem? It's just a headache and a waste of money because now I have to hire someone else to fix this issue. They didn't even send me anyone to help, like they promised on the phone. After I posted my review on Yelp, the owner sent me a rude text complaining. It's not helpful at all and only makes me more dissatisfied. He mentioned that he recommended someone to fix the water damage, but not to put my storage room back together. I had to personally fix the issue, and the room still smelled like mold. I'm extremely disappointed and will never use their services again. The warranty depends on me fixing the problem that caused the mold, which he made clear only after I paid. He didn't bother to inform me that I would be left dealing with this issue after he ripped out my walls and sprayed a solution, leaving my room gutted. In his text, he made it clear that he doesn't care about making it look nice again. I'm inexperienced in this area, and I expected his expertise to guide me and let me know that I would need more work done after he finished. That would have been better than telling me I should have understood my invoice and checked his website to see that he doesn't complete the room. The pictures show how my room looked before the mold, then how it looked after a year of mold growth, and finally how Mold Pro Chicago left it. I don't like that the room still smells moldy. They just ripped off the drywalls and left the trash at my basement door, which my tenants had to move outside. I hope there won't be a next time, but I'll definitely take more time to decide who I trust to handle mold remediation in my home.

0 stars! Hired to inspect potential house. Hired to do remediation as they said it was only a few areas that needed treated and to clean and treat ducts. Bought house. Turns out they did not treat for anything. Had to hire 2nd company just for ducts and they found a towel left behind from this place. I would never have bought this house had they inspected properly. Now I'm spending thousands trying to fix the mildew and mold they missed and left sicker than ever. This is costing me my health. They should be sued but I dont have the money as I am spending it trying to make my home safer to live in. Even my animal is very sick.
