58 West's lease is so sketchy, man. They won't let me out of it no matter what. And they keep changing the rules on me. Plus, they straight up copied and pasted my signature all over the dang thing. Not cool.
This place is a total disaster
This place is a total disaster. When I took over someone's lease, the apartment was a mess. There were fruit flies everywhere, the bathrooms were unusable, and there was trash all over the place. When I talked to management, they said it wasn't their problem and they wouldn't clean it since it wasn't a new lease. But I would be responsible for cleaning fees when I moved out. I had to hire a private company to clean it, which cost me a lot of money. On my first day, I found out the bathroom had flooded the day before and they wanted me to pay for it. The toilet also kept running and they never fixed it, even though I called them 7 times in 3 days. I couldn't use the toilet, which is against renters' rights. The AC didn't work and they didn't fix it, so it was 90 degrees inside. There were also wasps outside my door and the washing machine was broken for 5 months, even though it was supposed to be included in our rent.
