metro pcs stopped selling a phone because of too many complaints. would not send recall on phone but e-mail stopped working on phone out of the blue and now they want 5 dollars a month for the service because of the brand of the phone even though people with the same plan but different phones do not have to pay extra for this service.

Metro by T-Mobile overcharges

Metro pcs needs to be sued! For false advertising! Beware of the 40.00 plan with tax included! That is a joke they text me and told me to pay 42.17 you can not get any customer service when you have a complaint.

My husband and myself recently went into a local Portland Oregon metro PCs dealership store and wanted 2 lines on the $30.00 plan and was told for 2 lines we had to get the 60.00 plan for both lines charged us 164.00 and I looked at my online account on my metro it says 1 plan is 50.00 and an add on for 30.00.

Wtf. And it's a new customer plan.

Metro PCs sucks .

I filled out a complaint via email obviously I haven't got it to the right higher up. Maybe my next step is corporate and if no work then law suit

I still haven't heard from anyone yet.

I really think that Congress needs to take a good look at the practices of Metro PCS and also maybe t-mobile i think they will have to pay back lot's of money to there customers for overcharging them it's just a matter of time mark my word's

I went into metro 2 buy 2 new phones w accessories. I only intended on paying was paying a price i was quoted $130 so my phone started acting up i took it back the next day and when the Clerk looked up my acct. Iwas charged $40 xtra 4 cases .i was angry and was told no refunds. So metro manager is a liar and a theif.

My sister and a friend work for Metro Pcs different locations, they both tell me that the managers make them overcharge customers and they lie about what the charge is for i.e. using credit card fee, reinstating fee, etc. If they do not overcharge customers they will not make sales and will be fired. So don't fall for false charges on your account.

Metro by T-Mobile rebate

Samsung freeform cell phone purchased on 12/22/09. This purchase qualified for $20.00 rebate in form of prepaid American Express Card if purchased between Octo ber 30 - December 31, 2009 & mailed in by 1-14-10. Rebate form was mailed in with all items required by date, but I never received my prepaid American Express card that was offered! This is now 2 months later! Looks like just another REBATE RIPOFF to me.

Metro by T-Mobile cannot transfer to me to a live operator

My payment is due the 10th ea mo. I made an online payment on the 9th of June. 06/11 service disoconnected. I called MetroPCS, customer service told me to call their 3rd party payment proc. co, "Bill Matrix" to confirm pymt was rec'd. I called, they confirmed pymnt was rec'd. I called Metro PCS back with the confirmation #. They told me it would take up to 2 hrs for them to check their computer data base. Service never resumed. I called, they now turned my service back on but only for 2 days while they investigate (again, they say they will investigate further). I gave the Metro PCS customer service rep. the trace # and the reference # my bank shows to confirm they debited my bank account. 2 days later, I get a text msg. saying the case is closed and that I need to pay another month's bill to resume my service. Metro PCS claims they have 24/7 Customer Service. I attempted to call Customer Service after hours, the automated system says it cannot transfer to me to a live operator at this time.

Metro by T-Mobile overcharged credit card

I went online, on the 17th to purchase a phone for my son, I have a phone, the make was a huawei m750, I filled out all the info, but when I clicked sumit order, it refused my credit card, so I thought I had made error and resummitted 4 more times, still would not process, iwent to my bank where they told me my account was on hol, and the reason was that metropc, had taken $175.48 which would have been the total price for phone, they took this amount out 5 times, and bank accont is now locked, I called service senter, and they switched me to several people who new nothing! Total of 7 people from different services, they could not help, I am sooooooooooooo mad, right now, that the order did not go through, but that they took about $700.00 from my account and nobody know' how I can get it back, need it released from company. Asap

my daughter bought 2 cell phone on 1/29/2010 at the store on friday by sunday the phone she bought for herself the screen went blue she took the phone back up on tuesday and they could not fix it so the young lady at the store told her to take it to the corporate store in tampa and get her money back and she also suggested that she get another phone because they would refund her money back so she got another phone under the pretense she would get a refund back for the other phone . she took it to tampa they would not give here a refund because she got another phone in place of it she had to have a phone because of her kids needing to get a hold of her. they told her more or less to bad no refund she spent a 140.00 on a phone she could not use and they would not refund her only had the phone for 3 days and then spent another 90.00 on the second phone we asked for the managers name they would not give it to us just gave us a # [protected] said to ask for mark or brittney we asked if they were the managers would not tell us this is very pour business at these times with the economy and people not have jobs you dont treat people like this and i will be going to the tv station with this re: the store metro pcs

I agree as well! I bought a sprint phone and they flashed it to Metro... I was told that this phone would work nationwide.. As it worked in the Atlanta Metro area, for ONLY texts and cell phone calls, once it was out of GA.. all the calls were blocked by roaming.. "MESSAGE blah blah blah.. your call can not be completed... US CELLULAR" ... so I was like okay thats fine, maybe its because I am in the mountains of Tennessee (heading to DC)... so as I get to DC suburb areas, NO SIGNAL WTFUC* SO EVER! I went on MetroPCS website, typed in the address of my uncles house and it shows the area COVERED.. SO by now, I am pissed.. I bought this account on 3/20/2010 and it doesn't even work. Then, I TRIED all DAY to get a hold of a LIVE person.. and then the stupid automatic computer says... I KNOW YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO A LIVE REP, BUT I CAN HELP YOU INSTEAD... say the wrong thing and she hangs up!

then you try to call a local store... NOTHING..some numbers blocked, some took you back to the SAME METRO numbers and some just rang...

I have been with sprint for 6 years... always had a live service... It is an HONOR to pay 10 bucks more a month for GOOD SERVICE and LIVE PEOPLE TO TALK TO!

I had two phone from them both over priced one price on line one at the store in suisun city
the phone was over priced by $150.00 for a $50.00 phone my phone went black screen and they would not retune the money back they instead wanted to charge $10.00 more dollar to exchang I am going to file a complaint with the state, I am sur I am not the only one they take advantge of the people DO NOT BUY FROM THEM take them to court tell all stay away

Metro by T-Mobile lousy customer service

Went to add an additional option onto phone plan which cost $5 a month and the monthly price jumped up $10 a month. When I went to call the company, their automated system would not patch me through to a live person. I hit "0" 4 or 5 times and the recording kept saying that it could help me faster. In addition, their website kept crashing even though I was referred there.

The phone service for this company is adequate but the customer service completely sucks. Their support is awful. I found that it is impossible to communicate with anyone from this company. They do not even provide an email address on their website. They take the money and that is it.

And I thought AT&T was bad.

Metro by T-Mobile monthly subscription payment

I have been trying since Dec 18th to contact someone regarding my payment recent subscription plan change. There is absolutely no website other than the one to pay your bill.
The only way to contact them is if you drive to a service center.
That is what I did on the 18th attempting to make instant payment before my phone was disconnected.
I was told the store only took cash for payment.
While there, I asked them to change my plan(wanted to decrease amount and was told that would be taken care of.
I went home and online and proceeded to make a payment. I assumed it was still the amount I was paying and paid for that amount. $15.00 less than I had been paying.
Shortly after 'that I was notified that I had made a recent change in my subscription and I was to submit that new amount or my phone would be shut off.
I texted the company stating that I had already paid my bill and that payment was made (assumed that I would just have +balance for next months bill. I stated that they better not discontinue service until paid or I was quitting company.
three days later and my phone service is still not on.
I work midnights and am unable to go to service centers constantly.
I am done with this company!

Metro by T-Mobile terrible customer service

I am a student and i thought this would be the best phone company to join since a they say- no contract and i would be here for just one year...I have had problems with this service since i bought this phone in December. I called and called their customer service and no one was able to assist me. I even went to their went customer service shop three times where they did not do anything about it. i kept on calling and they would tell me maybe its the other network, but the funny thing is i have a friend with the same kind of phone, who had the same kind of service and we come from the same place, and she didnt have any problem whatsoever. Finally i went back to the place where i bought the phone, the dealer called the company using their dealer line, and CAN YOU BELIEVE THE PROBLEM WAS SORTED! But sadly one month later i realised it was not working again, so i started calling their customer service line, basically i am back to square one.I feel like no one is willing to assist me, i even told them to take away the service, and no one even bothered to ask me why.

Metro by T-Mobile rip off store

i got my cell from metro pcs 10-30-2009 . i am complaining about the store on hillside ave a block away from francis lewis

the phones are over priced and they dont stock the cheeper phones
i got the motorola v440 and paid 179 for it when its online and in other stores for 129. .. when asked for the rebate forms as well that was advertised online they told me i was too late and could not get them they also insisted on being paid by cash

i dont think people should go to this store

your phones are garbage they do not hold up we have 4 phones with your service and have replaced each phone at least 5 times during the duration of 3 1/2 years of being with your company not to mention the numerous chargers that I have replaced shame on you the first chance a better deal comes my way I will be going with that company

Metro by T-Mobile false advertising

I though it would be a good Idea to go the family plan 4 phones for $100,

add says "Including Calling Features"

after my wife had washed my phone with her pants, I figured WTH. go with 4 lines, buy 2 more to go with my brothers and another phone that needed to be "re-activated", but the guy told me it would be cheaper to buy another phone rather than re-activate it (well close to it like 15 bucks more for the new cheapo)so 3 phones now (at $288 for the 3 totle)and then the one guy (yes another came into the deal) had told us that the service would be the same for the phone he had, when the second guy came in he told us different that we would not have picture messaging, pissed a little we agreed to pay the extra fee to get that feature. being kind of in a hurry as I was going to leave on a trip we didn't ask anymore questions about the service as we figured the rest was the same. well I had to recheck what the add said after I just got back from trip to see if I read it right...,

right there in the add !

Metro PCS is advertising on tv the family plan of 4 for $100.00 bucks a month. But when you call them they to try to ge tthe deal they tell you that plan was over in DEC. 2008. i went out and purchase 2 used phones to add on my line over the weekend and on monday when I tried to get it I got the bad news. Maybe if they didnt advertised it i wouldnt have spunt my money cause right now i am unemployee and need to save as much as I can im very pissed right now with the Merto PCS i want to cancell my other 2 lines i have with them.

I don't know how this company has stayed in business so long! Their phone service sucks but there customer service is even worse! I got my daughter a metro pcs phone for christmas last year and got her the "everything service" first of all they never told me they charge you to pay your bill! Three dollars a month just to pay your bill! On top of that she is only able to text about 50% of the time and can hardly ever get on the web. Her phone burned out last week... It actually started smoking while she was charging it so I took it back to the store who tried to sell me another one. Something told me not to do it and when I got home and looked at the contract it said the phone is under contract for 1 year so I went back to the store who informed me I had to take it to the corp office. When I got to the corp office in panorama city there were 11 employees there but only 2 counters open! The other 9 were just sitting around talking on their cell phones, one girl was writing a letter and 2 other girls were looking at each others pictures. I waitedfor 45 minutes until my number came up when I asked the guy why only 2 people were working he rolled his eyes and said its typical here. He gave me no problem about exchanging the phone and gave me the number to the office to call and check if the new phone was delivered yet (Takes 3 days). On the 3 rd day I tried all day to get through to that number but I kept getting their office in panama! In the caribbean! After a couple of hours I finally got someone who told me when the office is busy and no one can answer the phones the lines roll over to them. I asked them if they have a website I can e mail and they said no however when I was there I saw a computer at every station. I asked for another phone number they said they don't have one. When I asked them what if another store needs to talk to them they are a corp office they said the other stores dont have the numbers. I got so much run around that I went up there and guess what the same thing as before! Everybody playing on computers, talking on the phone etc and this time only one person working! I asked for the manager and she turned out to be the letter writing girl! The phone had not gotten there and she said well we can do an in store exchange with one of the phones here for $30 we have some in the back. When I protested and said it has been 5 days you said it would be here in 3 or 4 at the latest you need to do an in store exchange for free. After raising my voice about everyone sitting around doing nothing and all the calls going to panama because they are to lazy to answer them she said well ok let me go look in the back. She comes back and said oh I thought we had some but we don't. I asked for the number to the main office and she said the same thing as panama. Oh we don't have the number i'm not even sure where the main office is. I said what if you have a problem and need to talk to them and she said oh it won't happen but I dont even think they have a phone there! A phone company without a phone in there main office!?

i have two of these phones i have been a metro customer for 4 years theses phones have not worked correctly since i purchased them i have been threw the ringer to try and get results now it has been 34 days who is going to fix this problem with these phones metro blamed samsung and samsung blamed metro ok im over it who replaces these phones or exchanges them

i'm sure u have received multitudes of complaints against MetroPCS, esp, in the area of customer service. it sucks! for one, u can't understand the service reps due to heavy accents. two, they have no interpersonal phone skills. and now, i find that i need a Metro PCS (credit) card to make international phone calls. what sucks is, i've been makin these calls all day and now i find this information. it would have really been nice to know this in advance. as it stands, a very important business call cannot be made because i do not have this card presently. had i known in advance, i could have purchased one and avoided yet another dealing with inept, incompetent customer service agents. their apologies are not satisfying my situation at this present time. if it were not for dealing with contracts and expensive services, i would have left this sorry ### company a long time ago. this is America and Metro PCS needs to WAKE UP! and why am i always told of my phone bill before i can get ANY one on the phone. i'm not calling to find what my bill is, i'm calling to solve a problem!

No improvements! I did not check the reviews before buying up their service and I regret that. The agents know nothing, their supervisors cannot compensate a penny, and to get a live person on the line you need a lot of patience. Basically this service is more trouble than its worth:(

when I first purchased my phone the store charged me twice on my debit card. I had to go through my bank to get my money back as the store would not reimburse me they stated that they were not over according to their books... nevermind that I brought in all the bank statements and records to prove they charged me twice. they tried to say maybe I purchased two phones! Today is the 2nd time I my service was disconnected because of non payment. I pay the same every month online and the payment was cashed and in time before it was due on the 25th of the month. I just do not have the energy to go through all the craziness to prove my payment was sent this month. I am just cancelling and going to another more reliable provider. Trying to get throuh to talk to someone is a joke, they do not answer the phone. You have to talk to the computer and all that does it get you no where real fast. This company is the absolute worse service I have ever had! I would NEVER recommend anyone using this cell phone service it is run by a bunch of monkeys for sure!

I purchased a metro cellular phone on 10/01/09, i also purchasd the blue tooth value pack after opening it i realized that the value pack was not compatable with the cell phone, i have spent several days on the telephone with the customer service [protected] telephone number that the employess # 1 saying in there scripted is that "i am sorry" nothing gets taken care of other then them using the hold button to convience you to hang up or like tonight i got transfered to the spanish line when i asked to speak to a supervisor. i just want to know what the process is when returning an item that was purchased online. the customer service employees refered me to the www.metropcs.com web site that referred all questions to the 888#. How is that going to help?

Metro PCS, service is horrible. When I am in my apartment, calls either drop or phone breaks up. Today I received four phone calls not once did my phone ring and all four calls went to voice mail. But my main complaint is the customer service. I called customer service good luck trying to get a customer service representative on the line. Better yet, when you are on hold the automated system is in spanish! I speak Spanish, but not everyone else does! it should be in english. and the customer service reps sound like robot, every five seconds they say "Sorry for the inconvenience" Instead of just putting you through to a customer service rep the automated system just keep saying "I understand you want an agent, I can probably help you faster" its so frustrating. When I finally got through they were not able to help me with my problem. I have to go to the corporate store to help me. If you are considering them, please choose another carrier. its not worth the hassle.

I have been with metro pcs for two years and this is the frist time I have had to call customer service. I bought a new phone less than a month ago and have been unable to send text messages. After spending an hour on the phone and going to a local store my problem is still not fixed! Now I'm being told I have to go to a corprate headquater and see if they can fix it! Did I mention that I have insurance and the phone is less than a month old! Two weeks and still nothing! Metro PCS SUCKS!

What a business model "or How not to run a company!

No direct phone number to local store - forced to submit to "Voice Mail Jail" for 1:40sec to get to the local store!

No corporate E-mail to complain to...just "snail" mail!

No Customer Service Reps @ Corporate...just more "Voice Mail Jail!"

Noticed the last post from 2007 said pretty much the same thing, I guess nothing is going to change until Chpt 11 filing, until then I'll wait to the last minute to pay my bill!

Metro by T-Mobile can't get a paper bill or internet & my text msgs come back to back

OK, so I got a METRO PCS phone in June. I got the $50 plan which includes unlimited calls, text and internet.

The sad part about this is that I can't get internet and if someone texts me, I continue to get "that" particular message every 3 mins (not exaggerating) until someone else texts me.

I've complained so much that they actually gave me to months of free service but have yet to fix the problem. I've called in twice a week, went into the store once a month to get the problem rectified but they can't seem to fix the issue.

Here's why I'm super frustrated: Not only does MPCS have absolutely NO customer service, they don't event notate your account. I've been transferred up to technical support once a month since July and there is no record to support my issue. This is the worst portion of it all. Tonight 10/7/09, I called to speak with someone regarding these same issues and he said, "If you're having so many problems, why don't you just buy a new phone?" My reply, "It is supposed to be your job to be empathetic and genuinely fix the problem or replace my phone." He then said, "You can wait a lifetime on that one ma'am. Is there anything else I can do to assist you?"

I thought calls were monitored? If that's the case and managers are listening, then you can only imagine what they'll say next.

Just glad that I got Google Voice. So long Metro Piss-poor Customer Service.

Metro by T-Mobile bill paying

My bill is normally due on the 20th of every month. For my August bill, I wasn't able to pay my bill until September 5th, which means my phone was disconnected from August 20th until September 5th. My phone was reconnected on the 5th of September. When I paid my bill, I asked the employee that I paid with if my bills would be due on the 5th now instead of the 20th of every month & he said yes. So the 20th of September rolls around & I get a text message saying that my bill is due soon. I disregarded it, thinking it was a mistake. So then on the 21st, my phone gets disconnected. I call 1-888-8METRO8 from my house & ask then what's going on. The man then told me that I should have been informed that there would be a $5 charge to reset my billing cycle (which I was never informed of) & since I didn't pay that $5, I would have to pay my bill plus the $5 to reset my billing cycle in order to restore the service to my phone. The employee kept telling me that there was nothing that he could do. So I asked to speak to his supervisor, who I did speak to. By this time I was livid that I had payed almost $60 for 15 days of service, so I handed my mother the phone. She spoke to the (supposed) vice president of the company (I doubt it) & he said that there was nothing that he could do for me until I paid my bill. So my Mom took his name & we're calling the Better Business Bureau. I doubt we'll get anywhere..but MetroPCS shouldn't be in business.

They told me that the phone has to be turned off for 7 days then they would reset the billing cycle WITH the 5 dollar charge. You would think they would at least prorate it. or something. But i guess you get what you pay for.

Metro by T-Mobile scammed

I was scammed at this corporate store (Missorri Ave). My new cell phone $180.00 wasn't working to my satisfaction. The rep. showed me another phone and I said this one is better. (Even thou their reconditoned) The rep. said, I 'm going in the back to put your information in the new phone. (I found very strange) Why would he take the time with a room full of customers. Heres a good laugh, right when you think you heard it all. All my phone # were in the new phone and my voice mail with my voice. They must be magicans. I called [protected] to complain about this wonderful experience which he took my information and said you'll get a text 3 to 6 days. Another scam in good old USA.

Metro by T-Mobile un ethical business

I had bought a phone and a plan at this store about 3 years ago. I wanted to update my phone so I purchased a new BlackBerry for almost $400. Well the device never worked properly and I was promised a replacement a week later. Then 2 weeks then 3 weeks and finally on the 4th I demanded a refund. That was a joke, according to the sales Rep I could have walked out of the store turned around and walked rite back in and not have gotten a return . It seems at the very bottom of the receipt it say's no returns after 30 days from original purchase? my original purchase was 3 years ago oh how slick can corporate America be Thats why we are all having financial hardships now. Every Dog has his day.

Be aware of metro pcs stores return policy! They will make it impossible for you to renturn anything! and then try to tie you up to their horrible service. On March 30, 2017 shortly before the store time to close, at 7.58 PM, I purchased a new phone, its accessories, pre-paid a month of usage and switched my phone line from ATT to MetroPCS. Soon after I arrived home and tested the phone I realized that I made a mistake. As the store was already closed I had to wait till it would open on the next day.

In the morning of March 31, 2017, I went back to the store where I purchased the phone and explained to the same customer service person that sold me the phone that I am a realtor and my phone is my main tool of work. The phone that I purchased did not fit my necessities and I was also having problems with the service, not receiving text messages from Clients and getting my phone calls dropped.

She said that the service would soon improve and that I should keep the phone for a while and that I would eventually get used to it. I asked her to then exchange the phone for a blackberry, which was what I originally had with ATT and was ideal for my business. She refused to exchange the phones and said that she could not take a refund either and showed me her return policy, which was not disclosed to me before or during the purchase. On it says that you may return the phone within 7 days of original activation date and must contain less than 60 minutes of airtime usage on call timer. She said my phone had 60 minutes and 15 seconds of airtime.

Unfortunately I didn’t know about their return policy prior to the purchase. If I did, I would have never tried a new phone and service provider for my business knowing that I would be stuck to it. I asked to speak with a manager and she declined to give me his/her name or contact information. I called the 1888 8METRO8 number from the store hoping for a solution. They told me to go to their store Corporate. The closest one was 40 minutes away in Lake Worth.

Immediately after speaking with the customer service person I turned off my phone (afraid to add any more seconds of airtime and be denied a refund/return and with that lost several business calls). In fact, I was already missing business calls and texts even before knowing that I could not use the phone.

At the Lake Worth corporate store, after 1 hour in line waiting and without using the phone, the service person told me that they could not help me as I had purchased the phone from another store and that if I had purchased it from them, they would be glad to give me a refund.

I then drove home to look for the owners of record of the store to try to locate them and speak with them. All numbers that I tried were either disconnected or did not work. I found their Corporate history and another store they owned also in Delray. Called the store asking for the manager several times and he never returned my call. I drove to the store, and they said the manager was not there and that they could not help me and that I would not be able to return the phone.

After all the driving around, frustration and lost businesses and working hours, I decided that I could no longer keep the phone off, as I had to answer my business calls. I kept trying to reach the store manager for another day without success and finally gave up. I went back to an Att store and changed my phone line back to them. ATT Service is more than double the price, but works and I deeply regret having tried to switch.

I then put all the Metro PCS merchandise back in its original boxes and priority mailed it to the store, attention to the owner of record, with insurance and signature delivery, along with copies of the receipt and with a note asking them to immediately refund the full amount of the purchase on my debit card used with the original purchase. Days after I received the signature receipt in the mail dated as received on April 04, 2017.

As they accepted the phone back, I hoped to receive my refund. I waited for days for it to post, but realized that even though they accepted the phone in the mail, they never refunded my money nor contacted me to have the issue resolved. They simply took the phone back and kept my money.

On April 08, 2017 I went to my bank and filed a dispute. However, my bank said that the merchant declined to credit my money back and that I would have to resolve the issue directly with the merchant or file a law suit. To file a law suit it is going to cost me at least another $ 190.00 plus all the time and aggravation.

I mistakenly tried to buy a phone from the store on 1405 St. Nicholas Avenue, New York, NY 10033 and was harassed, grabbed, and exposed a very unethical and circus like environment. This location is more of a bar than it is a cell phone store. I walked in, and was approached by two employees who stood no more that 3 inches from my face and proceeded to verbally harass me in an attempt to get me to purchase a phone. Another 3 people in the store were openly drinking liquor, listening to loud music and yelling obscenities. One of the girls came very close to my face and said pointed to the most expensive cell phone, told me the price, which I might add was almost $100 more than I had seen it advertised. She maintained 3 inches of distance away from me. As I turned around to leave, one of the men, lounging around the entrance grabbed me by my arm and aggressively asked me why I was leaving. As I pushed his arm off of me and walked out, another employee followed me for a block insisting that go back in and that they would give a better price.

This place and the people working there were disgusting and I would never recommend that anyone enter it. It should be shut down! I have spoken to other people that have entered this location and they told me horror stores as well about how the employees offered them alcohol and that they tried to deceive them into thinking their credit card was being charged for an amount lower that what it actually was.

I also have frequent drop call 80% of the time...I am noticing for the first time other customers complaints perhaps it is business as usual for the Metro PCS co. The Federal Bureau agency should take a look at all of these problems that are constant. My phone as of this morning is no longer letting me place a call out or dial in-case of a emergency instead I can receive calls & text messages in but I cannot answer them or reply back ( Go Figure! ) I will send a email of complaint to the Federal Bureau Agency, I recommend others do as well have a good day!

My cell phone bill was payed by my mother in law over the phone with a credit card today. When I went in to a local location to pay my bill the manager did not inform me that my bill was already payed. When I found out from my mother in law that she had payed my bill I called the store back to ask for my money back. My bill was double payed. He refused to give my money back and kept it. No one that I called at Metro PCS would help me. I have never had a company flat out steal from me before!

Metro PCS sucks. I bought my phone a month ago. The texting has never worked. I contacted them and logged a service request, and never got a call back. I called them again today and they told me it would be fixed within 24 to 72 hours and that it was a known issue. I told them it obviously was a known issue a month ago, but they didn't do anything about it then, and never called me back.

I also was speaking with people in I believe Costa Rica, whose English wasn't that great. When I did reach someone from their customer service department whose first language was English, he was curt and disrespectful.

If the company I work for were to not respond to service requests, we would be out of business. When my company doesn�t respond accordingly or has an unhappy customer, the customer is provided with a credit. The very least Metro PCS could do is credit a month of service, all services, for the trouble I have had.

This is my first month with Metro PCS, and this has been a very very poor experience. In addition, Metro gives you no discounts on phones� so the usual Rant which you can receive from Sprint, AT&T and others for $50.00 (after rebates) will cost you $200.00. Do not go with Metro PCS, you will get better service from other carriers. The better service is worth the extra $10.00 a month you might pay with another company.

About a month ago the phone screen turned blue with an error about some port couldn't be found. Couldn't turn the phone off took the batter out and still the same thing happens. We go the local office and show them what is going on and they said oh this is under warrenty and it will cost $11 to get a refurbished phone. So we order it and they say it will be about a week for the phone to come in. After a week we go back into the store and they tell us oh we forgot to order the phone so they tell us we will order you another phone and it will be here Wednesday 02/24/10. I call the store today 02/25/10 to be told that it might be here some time next week not real sure. I explain this has been going on for almost a month now and I have been paying my bill on time never late. He said oh, what do you want me to do. I said I need this phone. So needless to say still no phone but still have to pay for the service so that I can keep my other phone in service. Tried to call corporate and got no where with them. I have been with Metro PCS for over a year now and its been one problem after the next with these folks and customer service is just as rude.

i purchased 2 phones and they had a $30.00 rebate on each, the store mgr.said he had to send and take care of my rebate because he had no rebate forms in-store, HOW CONVIENT, and would'nt you know it it's been over 2 months and i still have not recieved my rebates.$60.00 may not be alot of money to them, but it is to a family who lives on a fixed income.i feel i was fed a BIG line of B---S---! i am ready to call an attorney about this matter.this company has no complaint dept.to assist customers, no customer skills .THEY ARE RUDE!I AM READY TO GO ELSE WHERE AS OF TODAY!

So I went into Metro looking to sign up on the $30 unlimited plan, this CSR comes up and offers assistance and it just went down hill from there.

The phone I wanted was one price online, she stated another price, only $19 more, I was ok with that. She then said that I had to choose between a car charger and a leather case, neither of which I wanted or needed. I declined either, she "picked" the leather case (total crap).

Next she "picks" the $45 plan for me with every other add on she could find, I again told her I don't want that, I was in for the $30 promotional deal. She tries to tell me that it has to be the $45 plan because the 1st month is free, finally I got her to give me the $30 plan, but she refused to remove the add on stuff saying that I had to come back before 30 days was up to get the plan I wanted. Major confusion here.

Now I just should have said forget it, but I was taking my number with me and she had already started that process.

So what did I learn from day 1 with the Metro, its ***!

I was charged for the leather case that I did not want, when I got the receipt the phone price matched the webpage and yes the unwanted leather case made up that price difference.

There is no requirement to come back before 30 days to get the plan you want, it should be given when you sign up.

If you do go the metro, know what you want beforehand, know the prices, ect. I learned that hard way, now I have to go back to metro and "get the plan I want"

Bought a brand new cell phone at a Metro pcs store for my son. Two weeks later the screen randomly goes white. Returned it to the store where i bought it however they do not take returns. Brought it to the corporate store they indicated that i have to send it to the manufacturer after 2 weeks of use. I said i would buy a new phone to replace it while they try to get it repaired, the manager indicated that he cannot be responsible for the phone if I leave it with him for repairs. I said i have 2 other lines but this line is for my disabled son he said it does not matter rules are rules. Dont know what to do now..cannot find any info. on manufacturer.

I bought a phone from Metro PCS for $105.99. The deal was 'no contract' and monthly. I had 60 minutes or 30 days whichever came first to return the phone for a full refund. I told them I was in Cape Coral. They said no problem.

I got back to the condo and found the only way the phone would work was standing in one of 2 windows in the living room. I tried most of the evening to get a Metro PCS support person on the phone and never did get anything other than a recording. So, I took the phone back to the Superstore I bought it at and talked to a fellow named Daniel.

His first conversation was that he would give me a different phone as the one I had bought was maybe not 'strong' enough. He went in the back somewhere and returned several minutes later with the same phone and said that he had put a booster (at no cost) on the antenae. I should try that and he was sure that it would work ... WELL ... it didn't! What few calls would come through (when the phone was laying close to the living room window) were from collection agencies trying to reach 1 of 3 previous owners of the wonderful phone number that I had been assigned.

To bring this already LONG story to a conclusion ... the only time I actually talked to a live service person on the phone was the night I finally got a voice mail through and found that the service had been discontinued because I had not paid the bill (which came by non-existent voice mail!).

This company is a fraud and does absolutely nothing in my experience to warrant any support whatsoever!

If you buy a Metro PCS phone and it doesn't work the VERY FIRST TIME you use it ... take it back and tell the you want your money back IMMEDIATELY! I am sure that there are pockets that it works very well in, but they need to be honest and trustworthy and stand behind their product.

Metro by T-Mobile bad service, bad customer support

I'm still flared up hours after cancelling my services with this company - they make you pay full cost for a phone, but in the long run it pays for itself is the claim. Unfortunately the product they sell in the form of their phone service isn't anywhere near par with regular larger companies. I bought the phone and used it Atlanta, GA with the hopes of being able to use it while on assignment in Washington DC and now later, here in Pittsburgh PA. The phone though listed as a both cities on the website as an available to their plan didn't work at all in DC, and only was able to use my text and basic phone services in Pittsburgh. Now the operator tells me that would have been additional charges under a 'roaming' fee (something not mentioned when I asked the salespeople initially).

In addition - the insurance I bought monthly for the phone should it be stolen wasn't much of insurance - the phone was stolen at a restaurant and my 'deductible' was an additional 80.00US dollars. After this debacle, and trying to talk with poor English speakers on the phone on a bad connection - it's never again will they have my business. Anyone I know now considering it will get an earful from me as well including my patients. I may even put a small plaque out in the waiting room advising them to think twice before using this poorly put together 'service'

Metro PCS is one of the worst companies I have ever been to, I thought that Sprint was bad, trust me, nothing comes close to Metro PCS horrible service. I have a feeling that one major thing they do to ignore irrate customers is give you a bad connection when you try to call their customer service, even from a land line. When i call, my calls never go through, and if they do, when the automated service is transferring you or say they will transfer you to the best customer rep, the call gets dropped.. Does that make any sense. I really hope someone sew's them and gets away with. Put them out of business, they only make everyone's life miserable!

If you are considering unlimited calling, go to t-mobile or even boost mobile. Trust me, ive been through many cellular providers, I know whats best. Either go get a contract, cause your gonna pay monthly anyways, or go to boostmobile..

Metro by T-Mobile cover are refund

I went to metro pcs dealership to purchase a telephone line and I transfer my service from AT&T to the new company. They promises cover are with a map, but the area that they promises was not cover. But the issues is the costumer have to purchase the telephone, I buy a telephone for the amount of $386, because I need this telephone in order to have internet, text message, email. But because is not cover in my area I lost the money of the telephone they sale to me so I am stuck with a item that no order telephone company use, and also no service so I lose $386. X 2 because I purchase two telephone.
