I just got this new version less than 24hrs ago and it’s trash on my iPhone 12. It’s not showing my indicators on the secondary chart only if I turn my cell sideways then they show up. Using my tools on the main chart it’s acting up as if I want to move the entire screen, and then when I finally get a chance to fix my tools the app closes, when I open back up it doesn’t keeps the memory of what I just did. Can’t see all of the numbers anymore of where price is at (if it’s a 8 digit number now I can only see 5-6 digits even if I turn my cell sideways…. Before this new version I never had these issues and I love mt5 so please fix this asap!

I’ve been interested in leverage trading for awhile and MT5 was recommended by a friend. I signed up for a Demo account and started trading. With $100K initial stake I was able to increase my Demo account to over $600K in one month. At this point I opened a real account. I did my due diligence and texted back and forth with a customer service rep from MT5. I put a small amount in MT5 and moved it back and forth to my Coinbase account. Money moves within minutes. So far I am pleased with the platform. It’s quick and easy to use. Trade history keeps my records in an easy to view form. Hopefully my real money trades work out as well as my Demo account.

I like MT5 better than MT4 but I’m always Using MT4 since I started forex and then using MT4 because most Indicators are fit and stable to use In MT4 platform. MT5 Is the app that Is so easy when buy and sell and exit profit Is so easy hitting the closed button it shows the color when holding and you can keep holding until profits Is green but you have to know what your doing using It. I recommend using MT5 since it’s so easy to use. Some brokers don’t support MT5 because their just not ready for it yet but majority of the brokers are using MT5 and I recommend Using it if you are plan to use it. It all depends. But other than that, it’s a great App I love it.

Careful. There seems to be many dealers on MT5 that require you to pay capital gains taxes to withdrawal your money. Some even blatant enough to take your tax payment money and still not let you withdraw your balance. They just keep pocketing all the money you transfer into the MT5 account balance. Stay away from Indusgold Markets Limited. Indusgold Markets Limited is the dealer that stole my money and requires me to pay capital gains taxes to withdrawal my money. Keep in mind. If you are in the USA all capital gains taxes are to be paid by you personally to our government treasury department and IRS. Do not fall for this scam by this particular dealer.

This Meta Trader is like a middleman app they’re link to the Foreign wallet outside of US and then this people who own the wallet will contact you Via Viber or Whatsapp, they use this as a communication internationally so they can get in touch with US citizens they’re going to try to convince them to invest Thousands of dollars in either crypto.com , coinbase, gemini or wire transfer from your bank to their foreign wallet so you can start trading in MetaTrader, once the money is in Metatrader you can start trading using the MetaTrader app BUT they wont release your Money including your Profit unless you pay multiple fees for MetaTrader. You will end up broke because the money will stuck in MetaTrader

From my personal experience I can tell you that Mrs Evelyn is one of the best binary options/forex managers I have met in a while. App seems to be legit, but there are tons of scams linked to social network apps and meta trader. I was contacted by someone on what’s app saying that there was a new group with a “Professor Jonathan”running the show. Some of the group members said they knew him. When I contacted them none of them had proof. The picture on the profile did not match the person speaking. “Professor Jonathan” would come and post on the group chat and give “knowledge” and trade signals. BTCUSD is what was being bought and sold. Everyone who was posting was a fake. I only found 2 out of the 15 people that I messaged who were real people. I even found the name and address of the person link to the LLC. We’ll see what happens next.

Developers, if you are reading this, please add the ability to chose the color of the moving averages. Its hard to tell which is which when you are using more than one MA (im using 3). Also, would be really great if you added the vertical lines like in the desktop version that go all tge way from top to bottom - for example id like to know what exactly is the value of the MACD on a specific bar. Also, It is hard to tell how the bar im looking at on 1 hr chart looks on 4hrs or daily. And while u'r at it - please add the horizontal lines - it would really help to know each bar's ohlc values. All in all the product is pretty good. keep up the good work, and pretty soon it can be something one can actually trade with.

I’ve been trying to withdraw my money from Bull Financial live/Limited for five weeks but I cannot reach anyone or even find and address to write to. I have $11,458.03 in my account and NO ONE is making any attempt to help me cash out. This is fraudulent to keep money from its rightful owner. I’ve file complaints with the SEC and next with the FBI fraud division. Since I refused to mortgage my home and give the money to July (the only name she gave me) for her to further invest, and whose uncle alerts her when to buy, July has refused to communicate with me at all and no one else from the company has phone numbers to call or anyway to contact them because they are mostly overseas. All I want is is to withdraw my money and get as far from this company as possible!

what else is there to say other than “hey it’s the famous Metatrader!” with a practical no nonsense interface, a full on package for coding and algorithmic trading, a full blown community that is integrated right into the app. everything a trader needs or is going to need, is in there. with its iOS release, it keeps the parts that are necessary for a good trading experience but let’s go of some of its details that comes with a desktop set. it brings everything you need to monitor your trades and positions, change or edit or close them. it’s light weight. and it’s not sacrificing important features to be that. you can still navigate, monitor and analyze stocks and quotes. in its mobile platform, Metatrader is still a full stack offering everything for a technical analysis. i just want to say, thank God for Metatrader!

Trading is easy. A comprehensive tool for exchanging.

Always little bits to improve here and there. More color choices especially on iPad which doesn't have a black background (seriously why) and please the vertical screen measurement means a big move makes all the other moves smaller. It tries to fit a certain amount of bars or price movement info on one screen and so one one space on the bid and ask can mean $3 or $30 for the same centimeter gap. It is hard to get an instinctual feel when the movements from the bottom to the top of the screen are either 10 pips or a hundred.

No matter though, as constant practice, or just one or two successful profitable trades a day are more important and it's better to adapt yourself for success than intuitive comprehension of the charts without looking at the numbers, which is somewhat les desirable actually.

Overall, great app. It's what I use.

I think it is a very good app but the big problem for me is that you can not zoom in the charts in vertical direction. when u have a fibonacci retracement in prices and the predictions are above your chart u can not see your price targets. the developpers shoud add the abbility of vertical zomming in and another functions in future as soon as possible.
I shoud say the ability of horizontal zooming in exist and I don't see any problem.

But another problem is you can not use logarithmic scale of graph in this app. it is very crucial problem. Solve and add it ability to the application please.

I got scammed by someone talking on social media in WhatsApp. I talk to the person serval times for a 2 weeks And then The person was telling me there is a good way to make money on MetaTrader 5 . I didn’t know what kinda app is that the person showed the the profit was making every single day I was Shocked . Then I decide to download the app . The scammer tells me to start with $5k . An then We did couple trades I made good profit after that the person ask me to put more money in so I can make more money on the trade I was excited then I decided to put 10k . Then after we did the Operate again ask me to put another money so here I felt something is so wired I started searching about that app there is alott people got scammed as same situation so I asked the person to withdraw my money went to the website and the customer service are very bad they don’t answer and they don’t help at all I tried to withdraw some money they don’t let me they freeze my money I couldn’t get them out from there and I’m stuck . The bank couldn’t helped me at all because I Transfer my money through Crypto.com to that that app it’s all fake I’m really feeling bad after what happened does anyone knows how I get this money out from this app please I need a I need a big favour .

I'm frustrated. The fact that there are no charts makes this worthless compared to the previous mobile platform.

It truly seems as fact to me that "financial" and "game" programmers live on different planets all together. In fact, they don't even know of each others existence. It actually angers me to know and understand that mobile trading platforms have always lacked that "H.U.D." ease of use feel like their desktop counter parts. This "WAS" understandable! Lack of useable program memory on mobile devices, lower mobile CPU speeds, mobile device screen size was too small, etc. All these hardware restrictions of yesteryears' mobile devices have been behind us for years now. These very restrictions have become excuses of financial programmers who are either lazy and/or lack imagination. Perhaps it's the employer and management of these financial programmers that lacks the imagination and eyes to see what is... People are creating complex 3D games for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and now the iPad. But no one has yet to create a 2D trading platform that's nothing more than a quotes bard and maybe additional charts.

What happened to the crisp visual charts and indicators? We're supposed to be changing stop loss, take profit, and limit orders by touching and dragging them! Pinching to zoom out, finger slides to look at previous price action! That typical iPhone usability that's natural, but tasked for the financial market. Where is this functionality? Why is this not the standard?

It's really saddening that there will always be thieves trying to take what doesn't belong to them... Taking what others have worked so hard for. People, please take the time to do extensive research prior to investing in ANY platform. Simply reading the critical reviews will open your eyes to possible scams. Remember this, "If it's too good to be true, it's most likely not true."

If you've been scammed in this app by fake Brokers, go to your bank to file a complaint and also go to your nearest FBI office to file a complaint. The FBI will be able to trace and track the financial institutions where your funds were transferred to and they will shutdown the fake scammers and make all necessary arrests.

DO NOT WAIT TOO LONG TO TAKE ACTION FOR THERE IS A STATUE OF LIMITATIONS TIME LIMIT, SO ACT IMMEDIATELY!

Also, do not expect Apple nor Google to read your negative reviews and take action. CALL THEM DIRECTLY AND FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THEM!

I have written this review after reading the many negative reviews of ppl who have be scammed out of thousands of dollars through MT5. I intentionally put 5 stars to direct this review to the list of positive reviews, because negative reviews aren't always first to be listed, but you can bet my intentions are for ZERO STARS to this app for not vetting their brokers and no customer service. They just provide this portal for innocent and ignorant people who want to improve their earnings, to get robbed! Hello, I would like to file a complain regarding the Meta trader 5 app. This application has inaccuracy when it comes to entering a trade. Whenever a trade is entered I noticed it enters me in a lot higher or lower price then the actual time entered. Also the charts are not accurate compared to trading view there was multiple instances where meta trader was down significantly lower and delayed more then trading views. Lastly I had entered a gold trade and meta trader closed me out and I lost hundreds of dollars. It stated that XAU/USD hit a price of 2032.00 and it never hit that amount after reviewing Trading view and other sources.

I was trading with Acefxpro for the past 10 months. I had 3 different accounts with login id ([protected]@hotmail.com,[protected]@gmail.com,[protected]@gmail.com). All were ok until middle of Dec-23. After that everything has stopped. And there is no communication from Acefxpro. My money is still in the account but frozen. My MT5 accounts are (3029012,3077016,3078005)

Hi, I experienced my stop loss being hit but the candle/price of the pair I am trading didn't even reach it.

It is far from liquidation too as I have enough credits/balance in my account.

My stop loss was hit 5mins after the trading day started.

I checked the candles in the "Chart" and even went to tradingview to verify the candle. But the price didn't even hit my stop loss.

So I experienced a loss without even losing!

Platform is functional and fairly easy to navigate

My only complaint is the customer service .
I have tried to use it Starting Saturday evening without success
As well as Sunday and Monday
Each time customer service is unavailable
And i leave all my info and no one calls or text s or emails me back

I am on a time constraint and there is nobody to consistently help me in the normal part of the day or early evening

I put a lot of money in meta trader 5 and traded for many weeks. I need my money for other purposes. Meta trader 5 won’t let me take my money out and accuse me of money laundering. Beware. They will say anything to freeze your account and take your money. They want me to add more money equal to the amount I have in there as a scam to get more money from me. I’d give them minus 10 stars if I could. Now I have to go to SEC to get their help to get my money back.

I invested quite some money through a broker called “Eastpac capital limited” to MT5. It shows I made a good profit. But when i tried to withdraw money, they asked me to pay 45% of Capital gain tax. Why I have to pay them the tax? I asked them to return my own fund, they can deduct the tax from the gain, but they just don’t allow me to withdraw any fund. There are so many fake brokers, so many scammers. MT5 doesn’t check their background. Any way to bring the scammers to justice?

I thought reviews were necessary to allow the creators to make corrections when necessary. I mean how else would one know if the app is not working properly if one doesn’t receive feedback from its users? Earlier I left a review concerning some minor issues (lagging issues requiring a constant restart of the app). Every since I left the review my app has stopped working. It hasn’t worked since after 7:00 pm last night when I left the review. This only lends credence to my grievance.

This app uses brokers that are a scam! DO NOT use GOLDSHIP Limited! I lost 40 thousand dollars. I used all my savings that I had to pay the debt of my cancer treatment, they asked me to deposit $13,000 for taxes to withdraw money. They took advantage of my vulnerability and now I am in debt, somehow, in this App it appears that I have an amount of money that I supposedly generated from my investment, who is going to answer for that since I found this broker through this App.

Mt5 does not police who it allows to use their platform. Beware- anyone who calls themselves a broker can get listed as approved broker on MT5, and most importantly, MT5 allows brokers to reprogram the platform which means they can scam you! MT5 is a Russian company based in Cyprus with no number you can call, say no more. Scam, Scam, Scam. Just check online for all the scams. Apple should be sued with a class action suit for not monitoring the situation that is there for all to see!

MT5 is easily used by scammers. Sure, the APP is first downloaded from the APP store, but after that, the scammers use a fake broker and fake trading to give you the impression your deposited funds are in your account along with the fake profits you have from fake trading. I’m not sure how this is done, but I’m showing a crap load of money in my MT5 account I can’t withdraw. I’ve been scammed! MT5 customer service is non existent. Apple needs to investigate and pull this APP out of its offerings.

Don’t be fooled by the 5-star reviews. This app is used to facilitate international crime and theft via cryptocurrency trading. Illegitimate platforms are on this app and Chinese-origin crime syndicates in Southeast Asia have used this app to rob Americans over over $1 million via the pig-butchering scam method. The criminals will use a trading simulation that pretends to be a legitimate platform. Do not use this app. This app needs to be banned from the App Store again to protect the American public.

MT5 is an excellent platform however anyone can program into MT5 and this is where you get scammers those fake brokers. MT5 doesn’t give you security with legitimate brokers. You must find a licensed and regulated broker who uses MT5 at there brokerage office and setup an account with that broker. Always ask for there broker license and who is their regulation office per the government. MT5 doesn’t NOT have customer service or a phone number to call if they do you got a scammer acting like customer service for the fake broker.

I need help because the brokerage company is refusing to gove me my funds. Requested to withdraw my money and was told and I haven’t done enough transactions saying I need to pay $3,000. I need someone to look up this broker Big Uncle Limited -150817. I need to get back my funds and as far as I am concerned you are allowing them to do business on your platform. Please do not proceed with this app they have fake brokers and make it looks good and let you win and win as long as you keep the investment coming you will have no access to the profits i have lost 5k in a few days and once's they knew I wasn’t going to invest anymore they wanted me to do the market and they are in control of the market when i was giving in they stole everything . Takes ur money overlay fake charts not actually linked to your account which show inflows and profit or loss does not release any of your funds when requested.
No formal address, no phone number, no identification of trader, is linked in with Coinbase.
How Apple and Google can sell and support these apps Is incomprehensible to me.
Don’t get caught in this scam like me.
They have $99,000 of my money, claim to have made me a profit of $300K and then froze my account and want me to prepay another $81K to release my funds but online complaints show that this does not happen.

I was scammed ($25,000) by a company called Wansen Capital Limited. They look legitimate. They display on the MT5 platform. I have a trade history, account balance. But when I tried to withdraw, the withdrawal was never processed. The company blocked my communications. They claim they are NFA licensed but that is a lie. The MFA is taking action on Wansen. Wansen is MT4 and MT5 licensed. If MT5 is a secure trading platform, how do bogus brokers gain access. I don’t believe any of my trades were legitimate. Personally I think the Apple App Store should remove MT5 until they secure their software.

Please don’t fall for this scam, I was scammed out of $4000. Someone you may meet in a chat platform turns you on to this investing app, sounds great, they pretend to teach you and the investment return looks great. After each trade, the account is deactivated. You need to add more funds to trade again, you keep adding to the account. When you try to cash out, they claim your account is abnormal and says you need to deposit $3000 usd to activate your account then all the funds will be refunded. Why would anyone have to add more money so their principle investment can be refunded. Total scam!

All the good features of this app are rendered worthless by any of these two shortcomings:
1. there's no one-click trading.
You have to go through a lot of steps to set SL and TP. Meanwhile your trade is gone. It's not possible to generally preset these levels either.
2. The way the chart is scalable is completely useless. Instead of scaling it vertically in certain increments, it scales horizontally at the same time. Also, the chart rescales itself all the time, depending on the price range.
Look at the FXCM app to see how scaling should be done. However, they don't have one-click trading either.
