I ain't never had no bad service with this dealership and they're real nice and professional.

mercedes benz of san diego is great at sellin u a car but after that, watch out. they dont respond or help u if u aint spendin money.

I leased a car from Mercedes Benz of San Diego and unfortunately, 25 months later, I discovered that the monthly payments were excessive. I paid $2,300.02, but found a similar car on the internet for $1,650.00. I noticed this because the payments for my relatives' cars were approximately 1% of the price of their cars. For example, a *** that costs $65,000.00 has a lease payment of $685.00, while another brand that costs $40,000.00 has a payment of $400.00. I know that Mercedes Benz is more expensive for various reasons, but my car cost $140,000.00 and the monthly payments are $2,478.00 including taxes. This is compared to the equivalent of $1,500.00. So, take care when planning to lease and compare before making a decision!

I buyed a car for my wife at Mercedes of ***, last year 2021 Feb (CERTIFIED USED CAR). When we buyed the car, *** sold us a 3rd party insurance for cosmetics damages (e.i. DING/ SCRATCHES and TIRE DAMAGES). So since its a Mercedes including this insurance, I'm assured that Mercedes will honor this. I've been doin all my maintenance thru Mercedes of San Diego, Kerny Mesa. Before writing this I call the 3rd party insurance 1st to let them aware that I will get my rims fixed. The insurance told me to just take the car to the dealer or any Mercedes Service and just provided the insurance and Mercedes will take care of the car. I call Mercedes to make an appointment for my car rims to get fixed. I waited for at least 30min less give or take. 1st call I got tossed around, 2nd call I got to the service department. The lady told me that they don't honor the 3rd party insurance, I was like you guys sold it to me and I already got my other rims fixed before (Mercedes owe to me). Since they sold me the insurance, I know they will take it. But the service told me that the service manager said to check online *** it ti where I can get my rims fixed. I told the service you sold me the insurance you have to honor it. Until now I haven't got the call. I think this dealer ship is taking advantage of the buyer and making profit by selling 3rd party insurance. I hope I can get a resolution to my complaint.

I selled my car to Mercedes Benz San Diego. They said they would pay me when they paid off the loan and changed the title to their name but never paid me. DMV records show the title transferred on January 5th. Its now January 18th, they did not pay me, my car is already listed for sale, and the sales manager does not return my calls.

In June , I took my 2011 c300 to Mercedes Benz of San Diego for a recall replacement on the airbags. But on Sunday 5/2, my SRS airbag light went off, saying there was a right front airbag malfunction. I called to get it fixed, but they said I had to pay a $200 diagnostic fee. The service advisor, *** told me that the warranty on the part and labor wasn't available to me because I didn't pay for the repair. Mercedes Benz paid the shop for the repair, but the part they put in was defective. I need the airbag replaced ASAP as it's a safety part.

I gave $1000 for a car on 10/11. But then I changed my mind and emailed the sales guy. He said the car won't be ready until April . He said he'd give me my money back, but it might take a few weeks. That was the last time he wrote back. I've been emailing and calling them for a month (Jan2021), but no one answers. They take my number, but no one calls me back. I've tried many times. I have proof of everything. I hope ComplaintsBoard.com can help me. Thanks.

On 10/02, I took the advice of the dealer at Mercedes Benz of San Diego and got my 2008 Dodge Sprinter's automatic transmission replaced, which had a mileage of ***. After the dealer installed and tested the new transmission, I started using my vehicle again. However, within the first week, the vehicle started losing power randomly while driving at different speeds. It would often drop from highway speeds to low speeds of 35 to 25 mph. I took the vehicle back to the dealer, and they found something else that they claimed was the problem. I paid the ***, and within a week, the problem resurfaced. I took it back to the dealer, and they found another problem that they said was responsible. They tried multiple times to find and fix the problem, but they said it might need another transmission. I told them to do whatever it takes. They found another problem, but the initial issue was never resolved. They decided not to replace the transmission and eventually said it was out of the 2-year warranty.
