Dear North Face Customer Service,
Thank you for sending the coupon — I truly appreciate the gesture. However, I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experience trying to use it on your website.
When I visited the site, I was prompted to create an account, which I did in hopes of receiving free shipping. After logging in, the checkout process automatically applied a 10% welcome discount. Unfortunately, there was no option to remove that discount so I could apply the coupon you provided instead.
I contacted customer service for assistance, but they were unsure how to resolve the issue. I was advised to log out and place the order as a guest. When I tried that, the system added a $9 shipping charge, which ultimately defeated the purpose of using the coupon.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because the website experience is an important part of the overall product experience. In this case, the checkout workflow made using the coupon unexpectedly difficult, and it ended up being more frustrating than helpful.
I hope this issue can be reviewed so the process is smoother for future customers.
