On April 19, 2020 I ordered 4 paint by numbers kits from Max Novelty. My order #MN233-302566 for which I paid $71.82 as of yet May 18, 2020 have received nothing. Multiple times trying to contact and nothing. They state that after a few days you will receive a tracking number but that never occurred.

I purchased a paint set in april 1st it is now the end of may and still have not recieved! I emailed the company they gave me a tracking #cus2004266psk1023938, to no avail the number was bogus! It cannot be found. I want my money refunded of 18.98 or my set. I would never use this conpany again, they flood my email and facebook advertising sales to purchase more. Disgusting. Iam not sure how to copy emails to you. I was excited to order paint set during quarintine and to recieve nothing is a huge disappointment. I believe this company intentionally took my money with knowing they had no intent on shipping my item.

Like everyone else on this complaint board, I placed an order 7 weeks ago for which I was immediately charged but no order ever arrived. I have emailed them five times, receiving an automatic response stating that I will hear from them in the next 24 hours but nope. Maybe two paintings and $70 is no big deal, but this is clearly a long existing pattern and downright online fraud.

So can something be done? Can they be shut down?

April 1, 2020 - 2 paint-by-number kits ordered
April 12, 2020 - received email that there was a short delay but our order was in process of shipping and tracking # would be provided. Tracking # was not provided.
May 12 - sent email to company to provide information about order and provide tracking #. Nothing!
May 24 - sent another email to company, inquiring about order.

Ordered on april 1 - wow, april fools joke on me!

I ordered my product (Paint By Number set( April 24 and my sister ordered her's in March. Since we staying at home due to Covid 19, we need to keep busy and we're seniors.

We are STILL waiting. I'm so dissappointed. They charged my debit card. I hope you can stop them and look into these compliants.

I ordered 2 paintings April 16th. Charged immediately. 3 weeks later got a survey about my order. Still have not received order. I have emailed multiple times. Nothing back. At this point I could careless about the painting kitsch, I just want my money back. I am trying to find a phone number. You are supposed to email them the way they have it played out on site or they won't return email. [censored] company.

I hope you find this constructive and not really a serious complaint. I ordered your paint by number kit "Tree of Life" on March 28th, Order # MN233-204297 and received a notification that my order was received several days later.
But, I have not received it and I'm dying to start it. I see others I'd like to order in the future so hope to extablish a good relationship.

It's May 16, and I haven't received it yet. I understand about shipping being held up during these Corvid19 times and I'm worried that since it comes from China that your business my be in trouble.
I'd just like to hear from someone if I need to be even more patient or if I can get a credit for another order when things get back to normal. I can't find tracking information, though I keep trying.

I ordered a paint by number kit from their website on 4/9/20. My credit card was immediately charged. By 4/20/20 I had not received a tracking number or my order so I contacted the company and requested a refund. Their website states they follow up in 24-48 hours which is not true. I emailed again 4/20/20 and 5/12/20 and have not received a response, my order or a refund. I am fighting the charge with my credit card company.

On March 18, 2020 I ordered 3 paint-by-number painting sets from Max Novelty. I learned about their products through a Facebook ad that popped up unsolicited on my FB feed. I recieved a confirmation email the same day and a week later an email indicated that my order had shipped - from China. I would never have made the order if I knew it was coming from China but it was too late and they had already taken my money (approx. $90 Cdn). I got an update email on April 13 with with updated info that the package was en-route. Since then nothing. There is no phone number and I have had no response to my numerous emails. I wish I had googled the company before placing my order. I would have realized it is a scam company.

I ordered a paint by numbers kit on April 11 as a way to spend some time during the social distancing situation. After a couple of weeks with neither the kit nor a tracking number I email their support address on April 28. There was no response to that inquiry, nor the one sent on May 1. My last official contact with them will be today (May 12), but I also will be contacting my local consumer affairs department (Attorney General's Consumer Advocacy & Response) as well as my VISA to request that they retract any and all payments sent to them.

I order several days ago two sets on April we already on May 11 and I didn't receive any answer and even my tracking number the didn't send, no email answer and there is no other way to have a real communication with that company, I wrote several times to the company asking about the tracking number or at least to know if I can have a refund but not answer at all

Hello, I placed an online order with MaxNovelty paint by numbers on March 26, 2020 (for 2 sets). I Never received a tracking number or any other information about my order. Given the current environment with Covid-19 and shipping delays, I was very patient. I emailed the only address given on April 21 asking about my order and expressed my desire to cancel same order. I received a response on April 24 telling me that my order cannot be cancelled because it's 'in transit', but I could refuse it and get my money refunded. That's email was more than two weeks ago--and again, I have NO INFORMATION. I checked the alleged tracking number and it just shows that it's 'in transit'. I am angry and somewhat embarrassed since I now feel this is a scam. I ordered through the company from a facebook ad. I really just want my money returned--and do not wish to receive the products if they were ever really being sent to me. What started out as an activity for me and my family to do during the shelter-in-place order has now become a problem and I would like some resolution. I know, Caveat Emptor! But there should still be consequences, especially since facebook permitted this advertisement. Thank you for your time. (Order #MN233-210316)

I have not received my order from 3/23/2020 . I kept getting automated responses that seem to go nowhere. The tracking number doesn't appear to be real and you have to download from a site that I'm not sure is real either. Order # MN233-197549. I keep sending them reminders that I have not received the item, and now I am not even getting the automated responses.
I have not found a telephone number to reach them.

Max Novelty sells paint by number paintings, but they don't. They take your money immediately from your credit card or paypal. They state you will receive a notice in 3-5 days to track your order, (didn't happen), they state because of the COVID it may take an extra week. Not true. They didn't ship anything at all. When you search for customer support they send you a link to find your order. Your order does not exist. Then they say to contact >>support@Maxnovelty.com and to give your order number and they will contact you between 24-72 hours. It's another lie. There is no web address allowing you to write to them. Their FRAUDS!

I ordered a paint by number (wild Dasies) on Dec 7th 2019. My charged card was charged on Dec 9th for the amount in US dollars of 19.95. In Chinese dollars of 237.92. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED the painting. Was never notified it shipped or anything else. Can you please inform me where the painting is & when it might be delivered.

I am very very disappointed about this item
I ran out of paint to cover the larger areas
The colours do not reflect the picture that came with it
This item took me hours to complete
I am not an artist, so do not know how to rectify this item
It looks like some of the numbers did not match the correct colour
I would like a full refund

I have received my order today and was so excited to start. After trying three paint colors and looking at the others they were thick and dry. The paint looks like glue and looked horrible on the canvas . I have used other paint by number companies and was always pleased. This is the first time using your company and hopefully will continue using

Please advise when I can receeive my new paints. If you need any other information, please let me know.

I ordered 3 pbn kits on 3-3-2019 and after many attempts to track this order #MN233-146987 and many e-mails back and forth to your company, it shows the final destination was in QC, Canada. I live in the USA and in Missouri. I have e-mailed many times with no response and I want a refund for this order. I have not received anything from your company regarding any e-mail I've send within the last 5 days!
