Mattress1.com unethical business

Purchased a mattress at Mattress 1 one at 2606 College RD Ocala. Ordered a plush bed. They delivered a super firm one, because thats all they had in stock. I called Cora and complained. Two weeks later and 23 phone calls I went to the store and picked out a replacement mattress, firm, and took a picture this time.
I financed the bed, and for 6 weeks I paid two automatic payments because Cora had not credited us for the returned mattress.
I contacted the finance company and they told me that the store had made the mistake.
NO KIDDING. After 7 weeks I finally got the finance problem resolved.
Stay Away from this store. Sales staff is inexperienced and lazy. They will try the old trick of delivering any mattress they have in stock.
The good thing is---you wont have a parking problem. Theres never anyone there.

Mattress1.com Mattress problem

Mattress was purchased on March 18, 2014. It has not been a year and the mattress is sinking on one side. It is very uncomfortable and it is hurting my back. I have enclosed pictures so that you can see the problem. I added my number and would like a call back to see what could be done.

Looks like it's your bed frame or your box spring, not your mattress. Take a look underneath.

Bed but Saggy Ethics

On 30 May 2014, we purchased an adjustable queen bed
from Mattress1One at 4232 S. Tamiami at the price. The salesperson was polite and helpful; he
even called the store manager to confirm that, even as a floor model, we would
receive a refund if the bed was damaged during transit/installation. Delivery was scheduled for the next
Tuesday. Two hours before the scheduled
arrival, the salesperson called to inform us that the warehouse manager had
annulled our sale—without warning or explanation. It is inconceivable that businesses can treat
customers in such an unethical manner.
It appears that the consumers need to do more than comparison shopping;
we need to police the market place and censure business like Mattress1One.

Mattress1.com Poor Quality

Purchased mattress and within 2 days of ownership, the bed started to make noise Rotated mattress, check box spring and found that box spring was the issue. Called the store and spoke to a very rude sales associate, Mike. He mentioned that I received a deal at $1, 800 for a king size mattress and that they do not honor any Veterans Discounts. Informed him that I purchased the bed on Veterans Day and was the reason for the lower price. Said to me that I could have someone come out to look at the mattress but there would be a $49.95 service charge and nobody works for free. I said that I could contact the manufacturer and they might come out and look at it. It appears that once you purchase a mattress from this company, they seem to wash there hands of the client.

Mattress1.com Refund

On May 14th I bought a mattress, which was to be delivered on the 18th-after waiting a full day, I called and was told they 'forgot' it at the warehouse, and would deliver first thing the next day. After waiting another frustrating day with no delivery, I called at 6pm and cancelled the order-#14377, and said I would be in on Monday the 21st for my refund, which I did. I was then told I would receive my check for $266.42 within 7-10 days. It is now June 5th and no check and no satisfaction from the store salesmen. The refund # 14382
It would be appreciated if SOMEONE would look into this and send me my refund.

We received our adjustable bed and mattress on time and it was perfect we love it but when the guys delivered it they were complaining about everything . We live in a condominium first floor so that was great for them but the driver said if he had to park in the back he was not going to deliver it today because he was not going to carry the frame that weighed in the box 150lb that they would have to send someone another day because the store did not give him a dolly to move it with or anyone but him and another person as help. We could hear them in the room setting it up complaining maybe they had a bad day but customers should not have to hear this. Then when we signed the papers he had a Tip belt on for Tips now we did not have any change but i have never heard of a delivery person asking for tips . Even if it was a practice i did not know about I don't think hearing them complaining the whole time that I would give them a tip like it was our fault for them not having correct tools to move things with. The bed and salesman was awesome but delivery is less to be desired .

Purchased a Mattress on 12/20/2014. Called on 12/21/2014 to cancel the order. To date, 12/29/2014 I have failed to receive my $264.00 refund on my debit card.

they have not refunded my money for bed rail I did not received employees have been giving me the same answer it is being processed august 1, 2015 is when this took place I have not been contacted it is now September 15, 2015

In September 2013, I purchased mattress set from Mattress 1 One.. I chose a firm mattress, the one I tried out in the show room. They delivered 4 different mattress and I still have a mattress that has a huge dip in the middle of the mattress. I have severe back issues and need support (FIRM MATTRESS) to alleviate pain while sleeping. I have inquired many times but no one can help me. The mattress in the showroom was the mattress I wanted. Mattress One sent me 4 inferior mattresses none like the one I paid for. I believe You try out mattresses in the showroom and they send you a shoddy piece of bedding. They don't care if you are not satisfied.They have sold a low grade product and they are passing it off as the one you tried out in the showroom. When I hear of someone wanting to buy a mattress I always tell them to stay away from Mattress One. They like to defraud people. Dishonest, fraudulent, deceptive.

I am having the exact same problem. It has now been over a month without my refund and each time the store is contacted I am told another 7 days. I was given the number for customer service but every time I try to call it the phone rings about 25 times before a message comes on saying that the memory is full. There is no phone number for Mattress1 on the internet and the stores refuse to give a district managers name or number to complain to.

Mattress1.com Employee Scamming!

My boyfriend was currently laid off from mattress1one for a lack of funds to pay all the managers they hired. When a company just starts out, they should be smart enough not to open 10 stores when they have huge competitors like Mattress Giant. Anyways, besides the lack of any sort of brain from this company's creators, their employee policies are ridiculous. First of all, they just hand company information and such out to managers on the first day. Keys, anything. They don't even know these people! As well, they put managers in a different store everyday. No wonder they can't establish a prominent customer base when a customer sees a different person every day of the week. Then, to make matters worse, one person is in the store from 10-9 everyday. It has been over a month now since my boyfriend has been laid off and no paycheck has been received. I hope one of the Salem brothers sees this and gets their ### together because I'm currently in the process of hiring and attorney to see this through, and you will be charged with the time it took to compensate and the attorney fees. My suggestion? PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES WHAT YOU OWE THEM. If you can't even do that, why would anyone trust you to buy something from you?

I worked at the Ft. Lauderdale location from July to November. By all means this company is the worst ever! This lady is correct, they hand keys to anybody and they come and go never changing the locks. One of these brothers confronted me of 2 missing deposits wich i for sure made and he pointed the finger at me. The cash system was developed by a complete idiot. Everynight i would do my spreadsheets and deposit the cash into a little envelope safe. After the incident with the money i requested the locks to be changed and for there to be an account i can deposit into so i could save the receipts as proof. He did neither and started taking money from my checks $250, $200, and $450. With my obvious reason for ditaste i quit and now the idiot is threatening to press charges on me for money i never took. I was month to month the #1 salesperson in the company and this is how i was treated...just like their customers i was ripped off! They take merchandise from the floor to fulfil orders where customer is expecting new. They charge customers 20% re-stock fee's on merchandise never in stock. Everything about Mattress1one is shady and horrible.

Mattress1.com sagging mattress

I purchased a firm mattress and box springs set in Dec 2009 for our guest room. The wasn't used until late January for about 2 weeks. During that time the mattress began to sag. I contacted the store and completed Mattress 1 One special request form on Feb. 15th At that time I was told I would be contacted by the corporate office to schedule an inspection. I never received a call so was told to call "Betty" at [protected]. After a few days and no call I called again. Betty was in a meeting so I spoke to Matt explaining my request. He said he could not find the fax request from the Davenport store and asked for another one to be sent. I returned to the store and spoke with Miguel the sales associate. Several days passed and still no call so I returned to the Davenport store and Miguel informed me it was out of his hands and he could do nothing for me. No one will provide us with any corporate phone #'s or any customer service #'s.
