This company has colluded with BlueStream to steal money from Senior Citizens. Our HOA dues pay for cable services and Mattamy has extended their contract for 30 years. Who in their right mind would do that, unless they were getting a kick back? Of course, it isn't about the citizens and with a high # of Senior Citizens in the area, this abuse is not OK. Florida is not very consumer friendly and allows businesses such as Mattamy to break the law and profit from them. I thought it was illegal to perform hate crimes but it seems like if you have enough money like Mattamy and you hang out with the right crowd, you too can pay your way to get away with anything.

I closed on a new construction home from Mattamy in 2016. Since then, I have experienced a water leakage into the interior of my home. I reported the problem to the builder and filed a claim under warranty. After repeated requests, I am still waiting (it’s been well over one year). An inspection performed by a roofing company has revealed that water penetrating through the roof is due to a vent flashing failure, which appears to have been improperly sealed during the construction of my home. As result, I have rotting wood, water stains, rust, corrosion, algae and wet insulation. In addition, the foundation has not been properly waterproofed which has led to water intrusion at my baseboards during heavy rains. The slab / foundation is under a ten year warranty. The Home is less than 7 years old. Doesn’t standing by your work also means correcting any issues that occur during the warranty period. If I had to do this all over again, I would not purchase a home from Mattamy.

The grass was improperly done , holes on ground . The grass will not grow . I have pictures of unsupervised poor work these landscaper did . Please send someone see to get the job done right . Address is 1058 spring palms loop Orlando Fl 32828!. I as walk there other day I almost fell into a hole which I have photos of .This is due has to be addressed adap before anyone gets hurt or injured. This my community now and care about how it looks. The sales person misrepresented the millage, tax rate in Duval county. They said it was comparable to St Johns county when in fact was much higher than St Johns county. We confronted management and requested hefty our deposit back and they refused! We'll never do business with Mattamy homes again! Steer clear of this builder! They will tell you anything to sell you a house.

We bought a new home over one year ago. When we met with the builder, we asked for a hole for a soap dispenser in our granite. We told the builder before the home even started that we needed the hole drilled for the dispenser. We were told it would be no issue.

The hole was finally drilled after we moved in and when we went to install our soap dispenser, we had no room because the plumbing company installed an aerator for sewer gasses to tall and it is in the way. I worked for Pulte, Richmond American Home and Custom Builders this should not have happened. We have been through 4 super intendents and each one until the last told us this would be taken care of. We now have a hole in our granite that we cannot use. We were told this will not be taken care of because the hole was drilled after the fact. We were also told by the plumber it was an easy fix.

After hurricane Ian on September 28 2022, we discovered that a construction defect in our house. The vents were not covered properly during building of the house so water came into the house causing damage to the attic, ceiling, walls and floor.

Mattamy homes did not bother to apologize for the poor implementation but immediately concluded the cause of the leaking is entirely due to the hurricane. However there was no damage to the roof at all, so the hurricane did not cause the roof to leak. So their claim was not supported by any evidence.

They forwarded the matter to our Home Owners Association, assigning the fault to them. However it is clear from the evidence that Mattamy Homes is responsible.

We moved into this Mattamy home in March 2019 and when June 2019 hit we had her air-conditioning system inspected and the coil was found to be leaking. I’ve spoken to all of my neighbors over the course of the last two years and it’s come to my attention that the coil is leaking on quite a few homes I was wondering if there is some sort of assistance That could be offered

As of 4/29 to 5/3/22 The pool area deck is currently filled with animal feces .The management does nothing to clean it up there is no service for this this problem this is a new development And the management company does not answer the residence complaints about this matter. The health dept and collier code dept have been notified about this health hazard. Hoping Mattamy hires a clean up crew to take care of this. Residents are paying high HOA fees over 40,000combined for a clean pool and Gym area.

This is a no frills development in which Mattamy is making a ton of money on the residents.

The foundation - basement walls cracked.
May 24, 2017, I purchased a Mattamy house in Ottawa Kanata - Monahan Landing.
When my house was 2 years old, on May 18, 2019, I sent a report about a few cracks in the basement wall but Mattamy did not do any repairs about it.
several months passed when I called Mattamy Warranty office to ask when they would fix the leaking in the basement wall they said to me that I had to be patient.
Almost a year went by after several appointments had been booked but their technician/inspector did not show up or canceled and then rescheduled his visit due to the Covid-19 pandemic or being sick. Two years after I first reported the problem, now there is more leaking into the house through the cracks every rainfall.
They did not do a water test to figure out why the basement walls are leaking. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE since May 2019!

We were one of the first homeowners at Magnolia Walk in Huntersville. We had the house built to our preferences and spent a lot of money doing so. We had several issues (cracked corners, paint on garage door, uneven ceilings, poor concrete work, stains on porch) and we let all that slide because the builder said that was to be expected. When they put the sod down, they placed it directly on the fill dirt which had trash, sand and large rocks and they left large gaps. They didn't care one bit about quality. We were told it would grow in. It has not grown in and we have had to pay a landscaper 1000 dollars to attempt to fix the absolutely incompetent work. We had two weeds sticking up through one of the gaps and we were sent a warning by the hoa. The weeds in the hard ground grow approximately 5 times faster than the grass. Over 12 neighbors had long grass and weeds and none of them received a letter so now that we were told not to worry about our shoddy sod work, now they are threatening to fine us because we're still trying to fix it. Horrible, horrible customer service and workmanship. You do NOT get what you pay for.

I have been the most dissatisfied client of Mattamy homes. Even my house framing has not started and there are bunch of liars in the whole Mattamy team right from the Top Management to the bottom most person.

They tell you something and deliver you something and then push you into the trap of [censored]ting contracts they have in place with lots of vaguesness. Unfortunately I didnt think that a builder of such a big size would be doing so but GUYS believe me I have made my biggest mistake of my life to go with Mattamy builders.. Please think hundred times before going with Mattamy homes. Their standard things that they offer are the worst in the industry so that they compel to buy the upgrades and thereby make tons of money.

Their lot plan mentions only one mail box but now they are pushing the other mail box from the other house front

Pls do your due diligence of what they offer in standard before signing a contract as they will always point out at vaguely written contracts..

I would highly recommend NOT TO GO FOR MATTAMY HOMES even if they sell their houses for dirt cheap prices..which they will not

We moved into our new home in Naples Florida in March 2020 and have had many unresolved issues especially the tiles installed. We chose 2 tiles of the same style as proposed by the designer of Mattamy stating that the only difference between them was the length. During renovations after the tiles were installed between the main floor and the powder room, we noticed a very visible difference of the tiles. The length, width and colour difference. As well, the installation of the tiles which was horrendous which depicts it well in the picture. We had mentioned it to the Project Manager of the site during construction which failed to do anything about it and said warranty would take care of it. Warranty has been nothing but a failure which we took matters to Tampa head office and had a customer care general manager come on site with the tile company and noticed how bad it was. They mentioned that they would take care of it and that was a lie. We have been dragged through nonsense and stated that there's a colour difference possibility written in the contract. False! The tiles are completely different from what the designer told us. We have never seen such poor management, porous customer service and horrendous workmanship. How could Mattamy not be embarrassed to deliver a "NEW" build to a customer looking so horrible?!

I choose kitchen cabinet colour dark some how I realize I choose very dark color i wanna change with the light color Mattamy haven't start yet even land is flat over side .so I request them to please just change my cabinet color I am willing to pay any fines or extra fee or anything I'm willing to pay that but they said your time is over we can't do anything now there should be way like Any fine for that or just change the color .even the house not start yet I don't know where should I complain or what should I do.

We are facing a big problem, since February 2020. My home is only 2 years old. We bought it new built from Matammy homes. My driveway was finished almost a year ago, since February 2020, we are having a big puddle on my driveway which caused many problems. On days that it rains, big puddles form and stay for many days until the water is su⁸cked and cleaned away. I'm complaining about the problem since more than 8 months. Because of COVID 19, for excuses that it cannot be fixed. My home is still on warranty but they haven't fixed it. Whenever I tried to contact them, they always give a different excuse. Excuses like coordinator is changed etc.

I would like my driveway fixed ASAP. Otherwise i will take legal actions.

We have a new house built by Mattamy homes and have been in it 8 months. The quality of their materials and workmanship is very poor and the homes are overpriced considering they do not come with much and you have to upgrade most things that many builders include. The wood used for framing of the house was in poor condition and the concrete slab has numerous cracked areas a few weeks into it. This concerned us and when we tried to cancel the contract after seeing the quality of what we were getting and the response that "you will lose your $42, 000 if you did cancel."
We closed, and in a short period of time the home has had numerous cracks on 3 sides of the house. They have been sealed and painted already which is very sad and the house looks terrible now on the outside. I paid for 39 LED lights to be installed in the house and 9 of them have already died. That's 23% of the lighting that needed to be replaced. If they make an appointment with you to fix items in the house you will sit there and wait and no one shows up. I got tired of using a flashlight in my pantry, so I bought new lights and installed them myself. I would not recommend Mattamy Homes to anyone looking for a new home. There are many other higher quality builders for less money and your home won't look like it's falling apart like ours does now
