The salesman came to my house and gave us a quote on a shower/tub area. There was pressure to lock down the price after telling him we were going to get a few more quotes from other companies. We gave him a $100 check on Saturday, July 11 which he promised to hold off on cashing until the following Saturday-July 18th after we received all quotes and could make a decision. The company cashed our check 3 days later. We never signed a contract. They claim they are issuing a refund, but that it will take one week. So if I'm to believe them, I should receive a refund by Tuesday July 21.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

On April 5, I met with an employee of Matrix, ***. I needed a new shower installed but was on a tight timeline because we only have one shower in the house. After much back and forth and him calling his boss they agreed they would expedite my order and try to have my shower installed with only a few days down time. They said that within 4-6 weeks I would have a new shower installed. For a week, I called asking when my job would start. Finally I got a call saying they were running behind but if I was patient for a few weeks they could install my shower in 2 days. I agreed to wait, made the appointment for the work to begin on June 8th at 8am. On June 8th, workmen showed up at 9 am,said work would be done in 4 hrs. They took 7 hrs to tear out my old shower, install the base/walls. Told shower doors would be measured the next day and cut. Matrix took over a week to arrange it. No one will answer my call or tell me when they plan to finish my install. 3 mnths/no shower for a month!

I understand your frustration with your project as it certainly isn't our intent. We are a company that prides ourselves on superior customer service. Per our agreement, which I've attached (initialed stating 4 weeks), custom shower doors take extra time to measure, fabricate and install. Normally this is a 2-3 week process, but with current market disruptions, custom brackets (due to the window location) lead times are longer than normal. We apologize for the delay and hope you are happy with the final product.
