My wife had purchased a propane smoker direct from MasterBuilt and it arrived 1 week after fathers day. That should have been my first clue this was not going to go well. After assembling the product, I hooked up the propane and got it lit, but once I released the knob, the flame would go out. After several attempts, I tried to connect with MasterBuilt. BTW - my product is registered to ensure my warranty would be in effect. BUT, this is only a week old. Anyway, after connecting with someone online, they provided instructions on how to fix. I followed to the "T" and still the same issue, would not stay lit. Then he told me he would order a replacement part but it was on back order until Aug 27 (mind you, this is a week after Fathers day) So I let them know this was unacceptable and if I couldn't use for over a month, I wanted a refund and he responded with (not with " so sorry, here's a solution, lets try to make this correct") He sent email with directions on a refund. BTW- I have to pay all shipping to get the product that doesn't work, back to MasterBuilt. Now I have just about lost my mind. I have sent several emails back to the company to just get a resolution for this BRAND new smoker and to date, NOTHING. I will never buy MasterBuilt and will tell as many ppl as I can, what they will experience.
Desired outcome: All I want is a working smoker, that I can use sometime before the end of summer. Thanks all
