Market My Business Today review: Beware of market my business today!!!

I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, I was scammed by Market My Business Today (MMBT). What started as a promise to improve our online presence turned into a complete nightmare and a theft of $5,500 from my business bank account.

On July 26, 2025, Christian Scott (co-owner of MMBT) convinced me that my website was not optimized and that my online visibility was minimal. He showed me a “snapshot report” that falsely claimed our current website was not optimized and that we had little to no online presence. Later, I found out this report was manipulated, using rare keywords to make our visibility seem worse than it is.

Mr Scott assured me that for $2,500 he would deliver a full suite of services—including website optimization (which was already optimized), reputation management, cross-platform exposure, a custom website, and much more—all within 30 days. He told me there was no contract, just an ongoing monthly management fee of $99 for 12 months, then $50 afterwards, with the ability to cancel anytime.

Due to the urgency, he convinced me to give them our bank routing and account numbers, since I couldn’t use my credit card at the time. I trusted them based on his assurances. Since then, they have withdrawn $5,500 in total — far beyond the initial fee — with no tangible results or the delivery of the promised services.

Their claims of website optimization are false—their “website” was farmed out to a developer, producing unreadable mockups with incorrect info that we never could and would never use. They falsely claimed to have developed hundreds of chiropractic websites, but only produced one to view, which was substandard. When I confronted their co-owner, Michael "Moe" Macke, in a Zoom call, he hung up on me after I started asking questions about their unethical practices. Moe then fabricated a contract on my behalf, which I did not sign and which they falsified my signature on.

Despite their claims of “fulfilling their obligations,” I was told they would only refund $1,500 of the stolen money—and only after I threatened legal action. The reality is, this company is a scam. Their online reputation is flooded with similar stories of fraud and deception. They have multiple complaints with the BBB.

I have already notified my bank of this fraudulent activity, and I have hired legal counsel. I strongly warn others—do not trust or do business with Market My Business Today unless you want to be robbed and scammed as I was.
