Market Basket review: Jared Archambault North Conway, N.H. Assistant Store Manager

Friday November 21. 2025. Jared approached me as I was working for Top Shelf Tasting LLC. I am a previous employee of Market Basket in North Conway, N.H. Jared accused me of " poaching" employees to leave MB for Hannaford. Jared told me if this continued I would loose my job with Top Shelf Tasting. First, I have not encouraged anyone to leave MB for Hannaford. People have asked me if I like Hannaford and I responded in the positive. This is not "poaching"! I accepted a position with Hannaford while employed by MB. My intention was to work at both places. I was informed by Adam the now store manager as Andy Hegarty retired, I could not work at MB and Hannaford at the same time even though I offered to. Adam informed me to choose one. Hannaford pays me $4.35 per hour more for the same position. It was an easy choice.

I do not appreciate being threatened or spoken to publicly when I am actively working and had potential customers. I have sent my attorney an email regarding this unprofessional situation.
