Maritime

We bought a heat pump from Maritime HVAC. They were good at keeping me updated on the ordering and installation process. One of the owners said they would be my contact for the life of the unit. The pump was installed on October 27th and everything went smoothly. The heat pump stopped working on October 29th. They said a technician would come to check it on the 8th or 9th of November. I didn't hear anything, so I had to contact them again on the 12th to express my disappointment with the lack of communication. They said someone would come at the beginning of the next week. Finally, on November 15th, a technician arrived and told me that the motherboard was broken and they would let me know when it would be ordered. I never received a response. On November 25th, I contacted them again, expressing my frustration with the lack of contact. It had been almost a month since the installation and the unit still wasn't working. They promised to contact me with information, but it's now December 8th and I still haven't heard anything. I really need this heat pump to work, especially in winter. The communication has been terrible, and I shouldn't have to constantly ask for updates on a $6000 product that stopped working right after installation.
