This is to inform you that I Sri Ratan Majumdar, residing at “Ganga Apartment”, Flat No. F6, 20 Sarat Chatterjee Road, Parnasree Pally, Behala, Kolkata – 700 060 has taken Cable TV connection from your authorized Manthan Service provider M/s. Choose & Pick, address 520/A, Parnasree, Kolkata – 700 060. My Subscription package amount was Rs.155/-per month which was the ongoing rate from October’2012. Usually subscriber’s representative comes & collects the subscription amount every month. But on July’13 & August’13 none of the persons has come & collected the money. No Information regarding the new Rates was even intimated to us and no form was supplied.
On 1st September, 2013 suddenly representative came & told us to pay @Rs.230/- for the month July & Aug’13.
There was no communication for these two months and suddenly this enhanced demand was something out of the blue. The Details of package or anything else was never intimated to us . The Rude behavior of the representative was the most irritating above all these problems. You can not expect everyone to be knowledgeable about every aspect about a Cable connection and the changes. It was more of a Goon kind of behavior which was totally unacceptable. Now without any proper communication and just by a threat my Cable connection has been disconnected.
I am informing this to you as against the deep grievance I have against Service provider M/s. Choose & Pick. If this matter is not sorted out with due apology I am ready to go to the consumer forum to sort this out. Subscription Card is enclosed herewith.

This particular cable service provider is doing whatever they feel like...
First of all, they charged me 1500/- for the settop box and when I ask them for the bill they refuse to give me...!
whatever payment I have made till today (including the monthly subscription charges) I haven't got any Pukka Receipts for that...!
their service is very very poor...
Though Its government's rule to provide receipts but it seems like they don't care at all...they are doing all illegal activities...!
Although I make full payment as per the subscription but every time whenever I switch on my TV a message box appears in the middle of the screen which says that "the cable operator has not made payment and therefore the channel is likely to get disconnected"...Why...!
Again, many time I told them that my settop box is not working properly but they didn't bother to take a look of it...! I am very much disturbed with their services...
many local people are here who are too disturbed with their services...
In view of the above fact, I am informing this to you as against the deep grievance I have against the cable Service provider. If this matter is not sorted out with due apology I am ready to go to the consumer forum to sort this out.I hope you will take necessary steps which will be beneficial for both the cable operator and the consumer.

But almost every night (12midnight to 2 am.)...some vulgar & illegal elements are telecasting on Channel No. 981
please take some hard step for this situation ...
