I joined Maidenbaum Property Tax Reduction Group LLC to lower my property taxes on my house in *** in March . But then I called them in October to tell them that I sold my house and wouldn't need their service anymore. They sent a packet to the new owner, but he didn't want to take over. Even so, they still managed to reduce the taxes for the next year. Now, they're calling me to pay $1300 for the service they provided, even though I told them two years ago that I no longer owned the house.

I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Maidenbaum. They went ahead and filed a tax grievance for me without my say-so, even though I signed a contract for just the 2020 tax year. I ain't even sure if they got me a reduction that year, but I still paid them a bunch of dough. I asked 'em to stop and they said they did, but then they went and sent me two more contracts for the next couple years that I didn't even sign. When I called 'em out on it, one of their employees called me a nasty name. Their in-house lawyer said sorry and all, but it's too late for that. Someone in their office went and forged my signature on those contracts. I think they need to be investigated for their shady practices.
