Chicago Title Insurance Company Purchasing a home

I arrived at my Closing on time, 7/6/20. I was not even greeted with manners, and the woman shoving papers at me, was very [censored]y, very rude, unprofessional, and whinny. I was really ticked off, trying to buy my siblings home and the experience was horrifical. I was instructed to wear a mask, told where to go, the woman in the room, was so demanding and refused to conversate when I didn't understand why I needed to take my paperwork to the Assessors office. My last home, was handled by this company and was not ever this mean and took care of everything. My realtor had been lobbying since Monday, June 29th for to review paperwork. I never received those until, that Thursday, after business hours. I had to make it to the Bank as they weren't open on Sat. Due to the 4th. and when I went to closing I was chastised for not having the correct amount. I told her I was given three amounts. She demanded I write a check for .29 and my realtor told her he spoke to a Mary and she would waive the rest. I wrote the check, and then was tossed a refund check and said the #3 looked like #8's here's a check. It was just very disrespectfully rude, as a home should be a joy and a new beginning and she should not ever work in Customer Support, as she will lose you business.

Chicago Title Insurance Company real estate

To whom it may concern,

Chicago Title Office: 916.897.5160 │ Direct: 916.897.5166
Fax: 916.478.2530
9267 Laguna Springs Drive, Suite 130 Elk Grove, CA 95758

My escrow no. fsjp-[protected]-lx
Name: Aaron

DATE: 2/5/2018

Request a refunded $51.99
My contact: [protected]@yahoo.com

Until now, I still not received the correct amount.

Determine the number of days, excluding the sale date, during which the seller owned the home during the property tax year.

The total refund check we are expecting is

$36.99+$15=$51.99

The Chicago Title Company in Sacramento sent me a refund check $29.60.

However, the amount is still incorrect.

From the Final Borrower's Statement

The correct refund calculation should be

(1/31/18 to 2/4/18) Total is 5 days

$1331.95/180 ×5 days=$36.99

However,

Chicago Title only use 4 days to calculate

The file recorded and disbursed on 2/5/18, which originally there was an error in the tax proration which we refunded back to buyer of $29.60.

Also, we did the title notary and recording service outside by ourselves in law office and have a proof without using Chicago any title's service in San Francisco.

However, they also charged additional $15 for Title Notary.

Chicago Title only said without proof:
As for the $15 notary. That is an actual charge for Certification of Trust which Priti Parikh notarized who is at Chicago Title in San Francisco, If this was a mobile notary the charge would have been at least $100.

The total refund check we are expecting is

$36.99+$15=$51.99

Figures it is Chicago Title.
I have had two houses fall out of escrow well after they legally could withdrawal the offer.
Rather than release the money Chicago Title will turn it over to an attorney and take most if not all of the money owed to you in taking both parties to court to settle. The purpose of Chicago Title and their attorneys is solely to make money, not to hale alleviate problems. In purchasing and selling home i make absolutly sirtain that Chicago Title has nothing to do with the exchange of properties.
