In Feb 2018, my ex-husband sold a house that we used to own together through Security 1st Title Company. There was a problem with my name on the paperwork, and the County Clerk's office sent Security 1st a letter asking for proof that the two names belong to the same person. However, Security 1st never contacted me about this issue. As a result, I am still listed as the property owner and responsible for the taxes on this property. I only found out about this today from the *** County Clerk's office.

We had a real estate closing on January 7, 2022, at this office. The business had issued a no realtor policy for closings due to the virus. When we arrived at the suite, the sign on the door said masks were mandatory, so we put on our masks and went in. Only a few people were wearing masks, and the buyer's realtor was there without a mask. My realtor was not present, following protocol. This company did not follow their own rule and allowed this realtor to enter our room without a mask and without our realtor present. We had asked to speak with the office manager but were denied. Then they started pressuring us to close the deal without our realtor present. This was some sort of double standard, and I would like to be able to go through that closing on a level playing field and have a chance to talk with their escrow department, which I was denied that day also.
