I paid for a subscription to the magazine in Brazil and never received it. I accessed all contact channels without success - total disregard and disrespect. Complaint sites in Brazil are full of unanswered occurrences - they are those companies that don't do what they write.

I published two books with McFarland out of Jefferson, North Carolina and they stopped printing my books some years ago and I never received my full royalties. They have been very nasty responding to my correspondence and complaints. I am advising people not to do business with them or believe their outrageous claims that they have been so fair in business.

I noticed a charge on my credit card for a subscription of Prevention magazine for 52.00. I have never received a call from this company or authorized them to put a charge on my card. I would like to know how they got my card number and who authorized its use.
