I had a 3 day re-pipe take 2 weeks. The workers ruined the ceiling and walls of one of my bedrooms. I contacted a company I trust to fix the bedroom and since I contracted with them I paid them.

The owner of Max 5, Steve, is claiming he can't give me a credit for the repairs since it will hurt his revenue total. So according to him I owe $1,222 but I actually I only owe $407.50.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT - the owner of Max 5, Steve, is going to levy my house for his incorrect total of $1,222

Mac 5 Services is great! They do a really good job and are super helpful in getting everything done quickly and efficiently. They keep you updated on everything and make sure you have everything you need in one place. Highly recommend!

just gotta say, MAC 5 Services ain't all that. So we had this dude come over to check out our AC and they hit us with a price of 13,500. Like, what the heck man? So I called up around the clock and they came through and said that was straight up robbery. They could hook us up with a better unit and a 10 year warranty for only 9 grand. That's a huge difference, ya know? I cancelled the contract and just wanted to give y'all a heads up. I mean, we've been using these guys for like a year and a half, but this is just not cool.

I'm sorry for being late with this review. Our schedule has been busy, but I want to fix that now. MAC5 came when we had no AC. The company we had scheduled cancelled due to the storm, which I understand. I called MAC5 hoping they would send someone as I have disabled people living with me. They were able to do so, and the team they sent was wonderful, professional, courteous to myself and my husband, who is hard of hearing. I don't have anything bad to say about the other company as they did what they needed to do. I'm forever grateful to MAC5 for being able to help us, and the repair was reasonable in price even in the emergency category. I look forward to MAC5 maintaining our system in the future.

I talk to Mac 5 for a new air conditioning unit. It was hot and my old unit broke. I talked to another company I used before, but that's another story. Mac 5 was great. They took their time and listened to me. They said I didn't need a bigger unit, just an upgrade. They made it fit my budget. They came and worked hard all day. They cleaned up everything and now I have air conditioning again. I recommend this company to anyone who needs help.

I called Mac5 for a hot water leak in our slab. They came over within an hour and gave us two repair options. We decided to go with the whole home replumb, which cost over 10K. Jack, the installer, came a week later and started the job. His van was a mess, but we trusted him. However, he only worked a few hours the first day, skipped the next day, and came back for a few hours the following day. He did a terrible job, leaving jagged holes and uneven plumbing fixture placement. When he left, we turned on the water and it leaked everywhere. I called the office and they sent Sergio over to fix it. A couple of weeks later, we found out that Mac5 had put a lien on our property, even though we had paid them in full. We gave them five days to remove it or we would call our attorney. They did remove it, but we will never use this company again. Stay away from them!

I hired MAC 5 Services Melbourne branch, licensed number Electrical: ***, to put in an outdoor electrical panel and meter. They took my money, $5874, but didn't get a permit with the city of Palm Bay. They didn't use the right wire or gfi breakers, which is dangerous because people could get electrocuted with 240 volts. They're not doing their job right and are ripping people off. They won't give me my money back so I can hire someone else to fix the problem and get electricity to my property. They won't fix the problem either.

Mac 5 Services is not a good company to use for your service needs. I paid them 5k for a repiping job and it was a total nightmare. The plumber was supposed to show up at 10 am but didn't come until 3:30 pm on the first day and noon the next day. He used a hammer to make holes in my walls instead of cutting them neatly like I asked. He didn't finish the job and left pipes sticking out that can't be drywalled. They didn't reinstall my water expansion tank and now my house won't meet city code. The owner tried to send someone to fix it, but I don't trust anyone who works for them after what I went through. The owner even tried to bribe me with $500 to not leave this review, but I won't be bought. I will post pictures of the damages online and wait for the owner's response. Beware of Mac 5 Services!
