Please note an email was sent in April 2020 with no feedback provided. Lebogang Moaloro have said I can expect feedback on 20June 2020. Today is 1July with emails being sent for reminders but no correspondence. I feel the customer service is not living to expectations. He promised there a delay but delays don't take weeks but rather days. I'm aware of the epidemic of Covid but don't jeopardize customer service

Registration refund
Been sent from pillar to post when I request a refund for the money I paid and now they say my application is unsuccessful but why is my money not returned.
My attorney would like the number of the person responsible managerial one, I have sent numerous emails on [protected]@lyceum but I get no response..
This is way too incompetent for such a big institution. They do not care for their clients

refund after cancelling studies
Anna C Horn with ID no [protected] and Wessel H Smith ID no [protected] cancelled our studies in June 2019 because we decided to immigrate to New Zealand.
After numerous mails to Eunice Sebabo and Lebogang Makoro the cancellations and refunds were approved and processed.
Lebohang advised we had to follow up after 6 weeks which we did and as per their request we continuously phoned and mailed to follow up on the refunds.
As requested by Lebohang we phoned on 7 September to confirm the refunds for 13 September and were informed that everything was going as planned.
However on the 13th no money. I followed up the week after and was directed to their accounts dept and a member director, Bennie van Rooyen.
I have in the meantime had no response regarding Bennie promising to get back to me. I have sent numerous mails questioning the refunds as I am desperate for the funds to pay a deposit on a rental house in New Zealand but I have had no feedback or acknowledgement of my mails!
Lyceum, I am terribly disappointed!

One will think lyceum college is not registred, the' are so many things making us(some of the registred students)wonder if it's really registered.
1. communication between the students and the recruiters is not effective.
2. We always have to ask/demand for our study materials.
3. Timetables are not issued on time, if issued you find errors.
4. Some "registered" students who are supposed to write in may don't appear on the system.
5. The results don't appear on your portal sometimes.
How many graduates(grade R teaching diploma) does lyceum have that are working now..?
who is Christina, the recruiter who recruited most of limpopo students for grade r teaching?
Should we be worried, some students are even thinking of deregistering?

I am very concerned and stressed because I haven't been registered for this year yet.
I have sent through my documentation and have done my deposit in January 2019 . I was supposed to have received an sms stating I am now registered for year two. but I have not received an sms nor have received any positive feedback from the college.
I was so eager to receive my study material on time..I was gearing myself up to do exceptionally well.. and now how do I do that with such short time on my hands..

Today I called in to ask the progress because I haven't received any email during this weekend.
She then told me she had only received my documents on the 28th of February 2019. when I asked how is that possible? Few days ago she told me she received a week before I had called and today she tells me a whole different story.

I do not appreciate this kind of behaviour and attitude from college staff. At the end of the day we respect the college staff and expect them to respect us in return

I've submitted my assignment 5months ago even now they haven't sent my results ;they haven't provided me with an exam timetable, of which my exams will be written next week ; and they sometimes tend on dropping calls on you . Exams centres are not appropriate for the exams to be written at them, invigilators are rude, they charge extra for things that they do not offer

Even though I doubt lodging a complaint, that anyrhing would be done to get the issue resolved. It is 24.12.2020..notifications have been sent that my October results will be available by 15.12.20. Then due to technical issues 18.12.20. To date NO results...results for every other year have been posted except for 2020 results. I've tried to call their offices in Braamfontein but to no avail. I've sent e-mail upon e-mail...no response reveived. This is really beyond frustrating not to mention disappointing. I wrote my last 2 modules in Bcom Management and it really would've been great not having to worry about results over the Christmas period...and maybe even greater to know I"d be able to say...I have a degree...

Non-communication from johannes ramaoka
I sent an email to Christina Nthorwana requesting my marked assignment as they were to sent end of August, she referred my request to Johannes till today I'm getting no response from Johannes. I'm writing in October I need to know if a passed my assignments and if I will be writing next month. Johannes takes people for granted. If he can't deal with people he must just go.

Poor service
We enrolled our son in a Productions and Operations Management course in beginning March 2016. We paid the fee for the year in full and was told that he will receive his textbooks within 10 working days. After 4 weeks and a threat that we want our money refunded, the consultant, Chantelle at the Cape Town branch, told us that we can expect the books that same week as it was sent already. Two days later my son got an sms to go and collect his books. It wasn't at the post office. He went again 4 days later with the tracking number given to him. It was there, but it was books for a teaching diploma! We are livid. He wanted to finish this course by Des 2016, but it doesn't look as if it is going to be possible. We thought after dealing with another college a few years ago it couldn't get worse, but this tops the ratings.
In 2022 I communicated with the college that I would receive a bursary and that the payment would be made as processing was ongoing, however, they kept debiting my account. They had to pay back an amount of about R4K+, which they never did, and stated that the amount would be credited to my account. This year in less than 3 months of registration they were sending me messages threatening legal action and that I must pay outstanding fees. I further informed them that I was expecting a bursary and needed time for processing. The person from the accounts pretended to understand, however, they still debited money from my account and I reversed the amounts. Now in the first week of December, my bursary was paid, however, they claim that I still owe the college R600 because there is interest on the amounts that the debit order did not clear. They are now threatening that if I do not pay the ADDITIONAL R600 added to my account then their portal would not allow me to write exams or submit assignments in the future.
I would not advise anyone to study at this institution, it is a nightmare! They are constantly threatening and instilling fear in their students.
Prince Ngobeni a very rude consultant who has zero patience and zero knowledge on the procedures of the institute, very *********** and should be removed from customer service because he has no idea what that is about. if you don't know answers or how to address an issue you never hang up but transfer the calls to your seniors who know better.

We have been trying to get information about assessments and dates and the way forward as we already missed dates because nobody bothered to come back to us. At least 10 emails and 10 phonecalls which always get transferred to a number which is not available. What a terrible experience. I am trying to study for the Grade R Diploma but nobody gets back to me to advise and when you get somebody they are so vague that you are none the wiser. i physically want to meet with a student advisor, CEO or Principal so that I can get this matter sorted out. Lyceum has the poorest service ever, they lack communication so much that it’s so frustrating. I have been sending emails to the WIL 1 Department for the past two months to ask when is the next date to do my practicals but until today No 1 has responded and it’s very frustrating because I need to give feedback to Principal of the school I found as to when Practicals begin.
This is nonsense I would never recommend this college to Anyone.
I SM Ndlamla, need to take a serious action against this pathetic institution. I only registered 2021 for October Exams (Student ID 164434) Bachelor of Arts in Disaster and Safety Management. I arranged for a month leave from my workplace to sit for exams in October. There was no exams and I never received info that it was postponed for Nov 2021.
I am working abroad and there is a couple of things I need to arrange before heading home to write; visa being one. I was told by Annelie Oosthuizen that there is exams in May 2022. I want the dates to give to Management so they can make arrangements of releasing me. It is not easy as like getting on a plane and go write. Even though, I was going for exams without even knowing my assignment marks!
Their website is not working. I requested refund of my money as I cannot be subjected to this unprofessional behaviour. If they deduct money from my account this month (January 2022) I will deal with them decisively!
I want to exhaust proper channels prior seeking legal assistance in this matter. What is the right way to address complaints. Is the an Ombudsman?

Lyceum is utterly pathetic the service is sooo poor, our company short paid them on a R169, 99 and they withhold my results which was not released and suspended but students that owes Lyceum thousands of Rands their results are out. Now as an adult have Tertiary education in University and Tertiary institution in 1980 have never experience such a bad service which compromise Ethics Code of Conduct of your Institution. I am Gauteng and as an Ault /Pension requested that I pick up the certificate for the student. To my very upsetting state they aren't responding to my email and they aren't answering the phones.
Let me put it this was your institution is more into marginalize community the least I can say. Your brand is compromise. I send someone to pick the certificate and the answer I got your operate in Heaven and Earth attitude.
