LongHorn Steakhouse review: Chopped steak extremely salty

On June 2nd 2023 my wife and I dined in at you Lafayette, La. location at 4248 Ambassador Caffery Parkway. We are seniors on a fixed income and eating out is a luxury that we look forward to at least once month.

I ordered a chop steak and a baked potato and onion soup. The steak was EXTREMELY salty. I had one bite and could not eat the rest of the steak, it was so salty that I could not enjoy the baked potato. When the waitress (TEMPRINCE H.) asked if there was something wrong because I had not eaten the steak she said she would inform the manager. She later returned to the table with the bill and the desert that we had ordered previously but did not say anything about having discussed with the manager. We proceeded to leave and when we reached the front door the manager held the door open and asked if every thing was satisfactory and I said no and explained that the steak was entirely too salty to eat. The manager just looked at me and did not respond not even one work and we procedded to our car with no response from the manager. We have eaten there on numerous occasions and were always satisfied. This was not what we were accustomed to. at this resturant.
