Leaf Filter papers was sign on April 27, 2022 and it proved to be a huge mistake. We have a screen in pool and at the end of the rain cutter, the screen goes up about 40 degrees, thus blocking the leaves from falling off. The salesman said the leaves would just blow away in the wind. Well he was totally wrong. They accumulated around the leaf filter and pool screen. Winter not even here yet and we already have a large accumulation of leaves on our roof,

But the biggest problem is the grit or sand from the roof shingles. The sand flows over the leaf filter and thru my pool screen and on to the floor and into our pool. Every day I have to go out with the vacuum cleaner and vacuum the sand up. The pool cleaning guy has to work a lot harder to clean our pool of grit. Also the grit sticks on to my cat paws and she brings all that grit into our home.

We call Leaf Filter and they wanted $900 more to add a stop plate to stop the sand from going into our pool. We paid $1550 total and that should have been the final cost. We then ask them for our money back and they refuse. Their ad says:

Lifetime Warranty

With our lifetime, transferable warranty, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that your gutters and entire home are protected for life.

The salesman should have kdown that the leaves would not have blown off the roof because of the roof screen going up 40 degrees from the cutter. Also the grit would slide over the leaf filter and on to the pool deck and into our pool.

Since then we decided to replace the shingles on the roof. The roofers removed the leaf filter when they installed the new shingles. We told them not to reinstalled the leaf filter because it was doing more damage then what it was suppose ti do.

I AM ASKING FOR A TOTAL REFUND OUR PAYMENT $1550.00.

leaffilter is a scamming on the interest for a loan. The main office will not rectify the problem. The salesman was present and called the credit co. and we were supposed to have a loan at 4.5 % interest, but later we get a credit card bill showing 19.90 % interest.
