office. They didn't do nothing to help me. I was so mad, I can't even. They didn't even try to fight for me. I had to pay them and I still lost. It's like they didn't care about my case at all. I wouldn't recommend them to nobody. Waste of time and money.

I heard that Bill L was real good, so I hired him as my lawyer. The lawyer I talked to about my case wasn't the same one who showed up in court for me. He didn't know squat about my case and didn't bother asking anything. It's a real bummer, 'cause I ended up losing my case. I was super let down.

Absolutely horrible experience. They are completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and incompetent. They will take your money and then be IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. My sisters hearing is TOMORROW and we haven't been able to reach them. Honestly seems like they're just scamming disabled folks! Please don't use Dr. Bill LaTour as your representation!

They kept me informed about what was happening in my case. The lawyer they gave me to handle my issue contacted me the day before the hearing. He did a good job asking me important questions at the hearing and I think I will get disability benefits. I was surprised to see many bad reviews. I don't have anything negative to say about Bill LaTour's office.

I've been trying to reach Dr B for nearly a year now regarding my case. My disability worker has been providing me with all the necessary information, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to get in touch with my lawyer. The lawyers office never responds to my calls, except for one message they left, which had a phone number with only six digits instead of seven. Could someone please provide me with guidance on what steps to take next?

Extremely unprofessional, the commercial ads are all lies! The fake Attorneys are HORRIBLE at their jobs, horrible communication! I would never in a million years recommend this sorry company, unless you're a non-white person, they don't fight for you, they don't go over your case, they took well over 1 1/2. Pathetic dishonorable company! You have to constantly call them to check on your own case.

If you ever consider giving them a -5 rating, please be cautious. If you choose to work with this company, it might be helpful to have someone strong by your side to assist you. They don't seem to care about your disability at all, which means you'll have to exert extra effort to handle their incompetence. Any form of explanation or even a simple apology is quite insulting coming from this establishment. Many incompetent companies tend to showcase basic "skills" only to later provide a dishonest explanation or apology in a feeble attempt to manipulate and waste more time. The most unfortunate aspect is that you're seeking help and trying to maintain good health, yet these individuals will only add an extra burden to your journey.

A few years ago, I used Bill LaTour's law firm for my filing process, but unfortunately, I lost. They did try to file appeals to get more consideration for my case, but it didn't work out in the end. I have to say, it didn't seem like they paid much attention to each individual. I'm pretty sure they don't have too many lawyers on staff because they didn't reach out to keep me informed, which wasn't helpful. They didn't really give clear instructions on what was needed for each stage of the process. And at the beginning, they didn't prepare me for the situation at all. They didn't even give me a brief overview of what kind of responses might be needed during the meeting or interview.

I applied 4 my disability back in 2019. I have an ongoing medical condition. I called the office with every doc appt, hospital stay, surgeries, n procedures. They never sent any of my info to Social Security. Now I've been tryin' to get a cancellation letter so I can go to a real attorney. Dr. Bill LaTour's office tells me they can't help me. I gotta wait 24 to 48 b4 someone will get back to me. I really hope this will help the next person that needs help. Don't be fooled by his TV commercials n fake reviews. Today I had my social security hearing at the Law Offices of Dr. Bill LaTour. Everything seemed to be in order, with the court and the social security attorney present. However, my advisor was nowhere to be found. I patiently waited on the phone while the court attempted to contact my advisor, but unfortunately, it went straight to voicemail every time. While waiting on hold with the court, I decided to reach out to the firm for assistance. Surprisingly, I received a text message informing me that the court was trying to reach both me and my advisor. This news left me feeling extremely disappointed.

Shortly after, I received another text from the firm stating that my advisor had never received a call from the court. However, I was on the phone the whole time and clearly heard the court leaving a message. As a result of this miscommunication, the judge decided to postpone the case. This situation should not have occurred in the first place.

Prior to the hearing, I had specifically requested to speak with my advisor and had received a call from them just yesterday, one day before the trial. So, why didn't my advisor reach out to the court today? Isn't that part of their job?

I filed for Social Security disability in August 2019 when I was denied after applying on my own, I contacted the law office of Bill LaTour. When I had my first hearing, I only heard from the attorney the day before very briefly. He was very rushed on the phone with me. My case was denied and it went to the federal level the federal attorney, I dealt with was very competent, and he had my decision reversed, unfortunately it went back to Bill LaTour‘s office. I have received three separate forms from Social Security in the last week or two and I left messages at the office on Friday Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday I left a message on their Facebook group and all of them said that I would be contacted. One of them was supposed to be from someone higher up who was overseen the attorney Who was representing me. I still am waiting for a phone call.

I definitely would not recommend signing up with Bill LaTour. I made that mistake. Don’t make the same mistake I made.

They didnt appear for the hearing. Causing me more pain and suffering as well as this entire ordeal being detrimental to My health.

Since 2019, I've been using the Law Offices of Dr. Bill LaTour for my disability case. I've had a broken spine and underwent surgery with rods and bolts in my back. Surprisingly, none of these details were mentioned in my denial letter. Even though I granted Dr. LaTour's agency permission to access my medical records from the surgeon and hospital, none of this information seems to be included in my file with Dr. LaTour. Additionally, I had my doctors complete and send paperwork stating that I am unable to work, but unfortunately, none of this documentation appears to be present in my records with Dr. LaTour.

I went to Bill Latour's law offices after seeing his ad, thinking he would represent me in my appeal with the Social Security Administration. I talked to a bunch of his employees, and they all told me that the most they would charge me is $6,000. I asked them multiple times if $6,000 was the most they would charge, and they all said yes. They said it would be 25% or up to $6,000 of the retro payments. But now I got a bill for 25% of $17,561, which is almost three times as much. They straight up lied to me about the fee, and when I had questions, they never helped me. My lawyer never responded to me, and the admin staff wasn't much better. They're trying to charge me for years of back pay, even though they've only been working on my case for about a year.

I am really struggling right now, along with my four pets. I am facing starvation, abuse, domestic violence, and the added stress of the coronavirus. My neighbors at my section 8 housing are also mistreating me. On top of all that, I have multiple diseases, and both Martin Luther King Hospital and Roads Community Clinic have denied me medications and services. To make matters worse, *** and SSI are denying me my benefits, including expedited benefits. I suffer from mental illnesses and have no one to turn to for help. I can't work while I wait for a decision from SSI, and my life has been filled with trauma since childhood. I feel completely destroyed by the abuse and I just want to know if I'll have a job tomorrow or if I should give up on my SSI or SSDI progress. I still need money for my uniform. Can you please provide me with a resolution? I just want to have some happiness in my last moments without struggling so much.

I'm currently being represented by the Law Offices of Dr. Bill LaTour for an SSi case. They've been unprofessional from the start. I've only ever spoken with receptionists and not an attorney. I feel like they just have so many cases, they just process us through like cattle. After many months and denials, I became quite frustrated as my case was supposed to go to an appeals court in Santa Barbara. I didn't understand why I kept getting denied, and as I discovered, it was due to Mr. Bill not including my doctors, only the 3 hospitals I go to often. The appeal was filed in March, and it's now January 2022, and still no hearing date. I understand COVID and the courts being closed down, but they're doing it over Zoom. My future living arrangements are urgent as I'm about to be homeless due to this ridiculously long time it has taken their office to get us into court. Hiring Mr. Bill was a mistake. There's no attention to detail, no communication, no personalization, and no concern for his clients.

About 7 to 8 months ago, I got denied SSI and hired the LATour law firm to represent me. During the time they had the case, I would get letters from SSI asking for certain information. Whenever I had questions about what they were asking, I'd call the firm and leave messages, but sometimes I wouldn't get a call back until 2 or 3 weeks later. In early March, I got a call from one department and a letter from another. I reached out to LaTour's office again, but they told me that due to COVID-19, many employees were working from home and not in the office. *** from the Moreno Valley SSI office said she had been trying to contact the law firm too, but nobody responded. When I told her about my attempts to respond, she was surprised. When I asked her about back pay, I was extremely shocked when she said it went back to 02. I even told her that couldn't be right because the checking account she mentioned was an old account that had been closed for over a year. I've tried everything to reach out to LaTour's law firm, but all I've gotten are empty promises. This firm received a small portion, but because of their negligence, I didn't get the amount I was owed.

My complaint is similar to previous complaints in that the attention was not professional. I had retained *** law firm and was assigned *** as my atty. I didnt hear anything and despite my attempts was unable to speak with anyone. I went to the office 2 weeks prior to my hearing and asked to speak with my *** but was told he wasnt available but they would have him call me. I was also told they werr waiting for my records. No call receiived so 3 days before hearing i went to office and demanded to see my atty. I sat with *** and he admitted he had no recollection of me or my case. I gave him a tabbed history of all my medical diagnosis, surgeries, medications, ect and he promised to study. The day before I attempted to call and speak with my *** and was given an email and phone number. The number was wrong and the email returned as not deliverable so i called the office and was promised he would call me. No phone call but i was able to see him for about 3 minutes prior to the hearing. At the hearing i found myself whispering answers to the *** and the judge stated he realized Mr *** was not familiar with the casr but he should have included the main surgery report as there is no way the appealant would know to ask. This was because 2 weeks prior i sent the judge the same tabbed history i had provided ***. This hearing went well because of what i submitted and *** was paid $6,000. I appealed his being paid this amount which i was notified April one year later. To date *** has disregarded this judgement and had not returned my money or acknowledged the decision whatsoever. I would like my money returned to me as he did not earn his fee which ALJ judge agreed. This is a judgment and it is their responsibility to follow the law and pay. As for other people having problems with the level of service provided, I suggest more people appeal the fee. If they have to return money it will improve the service.

I applied for disability in March. I have mental health issues and PTSD. I used to work but stopped in 2015 due to my mental health. When I applied, my case team called multiple times to verify my last work dates and medical records. Different people asked me the same questions repeatedly. I lost my initial claim and had a court date. When I spoke with my assigned lawyer on the phone, I asked about my medical records. He was combative and even yelled at me. I was told I would have time to discuss my case with my lawyer before the hearing, but I only had 2 minutes. My evidence was strongest in 2015 and 2016. I was denied after the court case. The new lawyer was creepy and had been disciplined before. In my denial letter, the judge mentioned my hospitalization but said it was irrelevant. They put the wrong dates on my application, causing my case to fall apart. Even if I had won, they would have started the claim two years later, costing me thousands of dollars. They used the date I filled out the paperwork as my claim date instead of December . After I posted a Google review, someone from the firm reached out and offered to help with the appeal if I took down my review. They said I should be able to appeal based on the judge's comment about my psychiatrist's notes being illegible. I tried to get a letter from my psychiatrist, but I received my denial before I could get it. When I asked for my file after the final denial, I discovered several issues: 1. My claim was dated a year and a half later than it should have been. They lied and said the dates were decided by the judge. 2. My employment history was incorrect. They left out four jobs, including three temp jobs and one I held for six months. 3. They were missing some of my medical records. I repeatedly checked with them and even sent an excel spreadsheet, but they only provided about half. 4. My psychiatrist's writing was illegible. They should have addressed this, but they did nothing except file a form to appease me. 5. My case file was delivered to the judge late, within the 5-day grace period, but it didn't give the judge enough time to review it. 6. They didn't prepare me for court. This firm's negligence and irresponsibility will harm me financially. They don't fulfill their duty.
