I received a squall jacket as a Christmas gift. I wore it five times the zipper broke midway up the front. I messaged lands end customer service. I was told by their representative I could only return the jacket for a refund if were new and not worn. I could get a replacement jacket. I decided I did not want another inferior product. I took the jacket to a dry cleaners to inquire about repair. The cost to repair was $44. In comparison to the cost of the jacket, I decided not to have the zipper repaired. It was technically a new jacket. I threw it in the trash. Lands End quality has diminished so much over the last few years as well as their customer service. I’m not impressed with how my situation was handled.
Recommendation: Exercise extra caution when buying their lines of clothing.
