Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I bought a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox from Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep on July 9, 2022

I bought a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox from Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep on July 9, 2022. But on July 11, 2022, the engine light turned on. So, I took it back to Landers. The service guy checked it with a diagnostic tool. The computer showed some misfires and low oil, so he reset the computer and added more oil. But resetting the computer doesn't really solve the problem. Sadly, I haven't been able to enjoy this car because it's currently at the Chevy Dealership, waiting for a new engine. Landers, you really need to step up your game.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I'm really disappointed with this company

I'm really disappointed with this company. Can we have negative stars? When we bought the car, the CARFAX seemed fine. But then, BAM! Less than a year later, we need a new engine because of "lack of oil/coolant," even though we used them for ALL oil changes. We checked the CARFAX and, about a month after we bought it, it updated to show a collision with another car, all airbags deployed, and being submerged in water. We're stuck with a car that should've been scrapped, and Landers won't admit their mistake or help at all. They should be ashamed for taking hard-earned money from people. LANDERS, FIX THIS! We'll never go to Landers again, and hopefully, others will learn from our mistake.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I had a problem with my battery, which is still under warranty

I had a problem with my battery, which is still under warranty. I brought it to the service desk, and they told me that I needed to bring my vehicle along for them to test the battery. They tested it twice and found that it had 0 cold amps and 1.20 on the other. They said that I would have to tow my car to their location in order to get a replacement. The battery was purchased on September 21, and it has a 72-month warranty. If I don't want them to fix it, I have to tow it back home. I had the battery with me, but they refused to honor the warranty without my car.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I bought a 2022 Grand Cherokee L from Landers in October

I bought a 2022 Grand Cherokee L from Landers in October . I also bought an extended warranty that I've asked for multiple times and just got it overnighted yesterday after I was told I was no longer allowed at Landers. My problem is I took it in in May because my gear shifter was going out. They ordered a new one, got my car back, and now my high beams will not work, nor my dimmers on the inside. I went back to Landers to get that fixed, and now my mileage is flashing, and they've scratched my door. I took it back in last week to finish the issues, and instead of painting the door, they put a weather strip on it and did not replace the mud flaps (that they messed up). I've called so many times trying to speak with the GM, and no call back. It was always a fight to try and get a rental when my warranty covers it. Yesterday, I completed a survey that the dealership sent. I answered it with my honest opinion. Later, I was called by Mrs. and screamed at for giving them a bad survey. I was told I would no longer be allowed at the dealership. I'm only trying to get what they messed up fixed, and I'm not allowed back?

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I bought a used $24k 2017 Ford Mustang from Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep

I bought a used $24k 2017 Ford Mustang from Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep. The buying experience wasn't bad, and I really like the car. The salesmen were nice, but they were obviously trying to make a sale, so that part was expected. I knew the vehicle had minor cosmetic body damage, which could be easily fixed at home for little to no cost. They disclosed this upfront before I saw the car in person, so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

During the test drive, the car was dirty, so I didn't notice the overspray on the hood and trunk. It was only when they washed the car and brought it to me that I discovered the overspray, which had a very textured feel. They told me to bring it back for a buff, but unfortunately, it couldn't be buffed out. The salesman already knew this when I mentioned it to him, and he immediately discouraged me from getting it painted because it would affect my Carfacts report. That was basically the end of the discussion. I haven't been able to discuss other options with anyone because I've been passed around and ignored, and no one returns my calls.

The very next day, the backup camera started malfunctioning. I notified the salesman, and he told me to bring it in. They "allegedly" looked at it and said it was okay. However, two weeks later, it's still acting up, and I found out that there's a recall on it. I admit that I should have noticed the overspray on the dirty car, but they are equally responsible for not disclosing it.

I have genuine concerns, and I've tried to contact both the salesmen and the customer service representative, *** and ***. Unfortunately, *** doesn't answer the phone or return my calls, and *** rarely responds to texts. I would appreciate some sort of gesture to show that they take responsibility for the mistake and to ensure that I remain a satisfied customer. However, all I've received so far is the runaround. The aftermath of this experience has truly made it a horrible buying experience, as I feel like I was deceived.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I took my car to Landers on April 15 for a diagnostic

I took my car to Landers on April 15 for a diagnostic. I already knew what was wrong, but they insisted on doing the diagnostic anyway. I decided to wait, and the technician, ***, said it might take a few hours. We assured him that we were willing to wait. After about 7 hours, he came in and said the car was still not "back together" and wouldn't be ready that day. I was a bit confused as to why it was taken apart in the first place. He claimed it was still on the rack, but it was actually in their parking lot. We asked if we could retrieve some things from the car since we were packing for a trip. They allowed us to do so. Two days later, *** left a message confirming the problem we had initially mentioned, so we went to pick up the car. However, it still wasn't "back together." He told us to come back the next day, which we did. When we drove it off the lot, we realized that the speedometer and odometer weren't working. We tried calling, but they were closed. I left a review on their website to note the time. The next day, we called again and they said we could come back in two weeks. I insisted on being seen immediately and spoke to the manager. He told us to bring the car in, so we left it there and went on our trip. A few days later, the manager called and said he had found a part and it would be ready in 5 days. When I called again about a week later, they informed me that the part hadn't arrived yet. It turned out that it had arrived, but they couldn't figure out how to install it, so they had to order another one. During one of my calls, the manager mentioned that it would be ready "end of the week." Then he instructed me to come and get it on May 17. He claimed it was running, but the speedometer and odometer still didn't work. I went to pick it up, but he refused to release it because the brakes weren't functioning properly. I sent him a link to buy the necessary part, but he hasn't responded to confirm if it's the right one. He initially offered a loaner car, but never followed up on it. He hasn't called me at all to update me on the status and has never offered to let me speak to his boss.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep I went to Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep to buy a 2022 Jeep Compass on December 2, 2022

I went to Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep to buy a 2022 Jeep Compass on December 2, 2022. I specifically asked for a 4x4 because I needed it for work in Alaska. I had a case with Jeep Customer Care regarding four warrantied throttle body part replacements due to supply chain issues with previous parts. To get back home, I decided to purchase a vehicle from Landers. They offered me a 3.5% interest rate through Landers Credit Union and 8%+ through Landers financing.

When I arrived in Alaska, I was told that I had to register the car and then refinance it with my credit union. I couldn't use the credit union at the time of purchase. The salesperson, Mr., left and handed me over to his sales associate, Ms.. I made it clear to Ms. and Mr. that I didn't care about the color of the vehicle, I just wanted a 4WD. However, when pressed about the color, I mentioned that I liked white because it was the color of my last two vehicles.

Ms. informed me that they had a white 2020 Compass available. I had no reason to believe that it wasn't a 4WD since all Compass models look the same, whether they are 2WD or 4WD. I purchased the Compass and picked it up on February 5th. That's when I found out that it was actually a 2WD and not a 4WD. I immediately texted Mr. and sent him screenshots of our previous conversations where I clearly stated that I wanted a 4WD.

Mr. called me and asked me to come back to the dealership. He said he would swap the vehicle for one that was the same year, model, and price, but the only difference was that it was gray. I didn't care about the color, I just needed the 4WD. Mr. understood my situation. However, Landers refused to exchange the vehicle unless it was registered in Alaska, which would take 2-6 weeks to process.

The finance director, ***, wouldn't even speak to Wells Fargo when I reached out to them. I escalated the issue to the Wells Fargo executive team and provided them with all the necessary information. Wells Fargo does have a process to unwind loans and start over, but they need cooperation from the dealership.

I followed Ms. instructions and asked her to write a letter documenting the conversation I had with Landers' finance director, *** and Mr.. I wanted to have something in writing that indicated what Landers said they would do to exchange the vehicle for one that met the criteria of 4WD. I also reached out to Mr., but I haven't received a response from him yet.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep My name is ***

My name is ***. I bought a 2018 Jeep Compass Latitude from Steve Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Little Rock, AR. I got it on 11/09. I traded in my 2016 Hyundai Elantra because I needed a bigger car for my family. Since buying the Jeep Compass, it has been in the shop 4 times before, and after today [protected]), it will be the 5th time. It always goes in for the same problem. I understand that things take time, but I've had enough of this process. I'm currently 7 months pregnant, and my blood pressure is high because of the mechanical issues with this jeep. I feel like I'm being given the runaround, and no one is fixing the problem. I went from having a good Hyundai to buying a lemon that nobody can figure out. I have service receipts for each time it went to the shop, as well as pictures, a video, and my warranty contract. The dates of service are 11/13, 03/17/2022, 05/12/2022, 06/03/2022, and today, 06/16/2022. I have to take it back to the shop again for the same mechanical issue. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm tired. I traded in my Hyundai because I needed a bigger car for my family, and now I'm about to have a baby, but I don't have a reliable way to get to work, doctor's appointments, or take my kids to school or summer camp. I'm sorry, but I can't deal with Steve Landers and this Jeep anymore. They can't figure out what's wrong with the car, so I think it's only fair if they put me in another vehicle.

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep sold us a car in May , and it has had major problems ever since. They don't want to help us at all. It's even worse with Steve Landers Toyota, the most dishonest car dealership in Central Arkansas. They only care about making as much money as possible and hiding any issues with their vehicles. If any problems come up after they get paid, they just want to take advantage of you. We bought a used Acadia Denali 2015 model from them in May . To keep it short, the car has transmission issues that we didn't know about when we bought it. We took it back to them and explained what was happening, but they and two other shops couldn't figure out the problem when we brought it in multiple times during the first 3 months. Conveniently, the transmission issues were discovered right after the 3-month warranty ended, and they told us it would cost $5k to fix. Landers so kindly offered us $12k for the car we had just bought from them for $17,500 only 4 months ago. They said they were taking a risk because they would try to hide the transmission issues at auction. We considered trading it in if they gave us a good deal on a similar car, even though it would still cost us more money. While they had our car in their shop, they gave us a loaner car. We asked about our car's status almost every day. We had the loaner car for about 9 days. We didn't intentionally misuse or damage the car, but we have a family of 7, so with 5 kids and football season, it naturally got a little messy. The car wasn't trashed, but Landers decided that we put too many miles on it and the carpet wasn't clean enough. Now they don't want to do business with us anymore.
