Kroger was told a coupon was on my account when I called the 800 number

Today I called the 800 kroger number because, over the weekend, I was having problems downloading a coupon to my card. The coupon was for $10 off a $100 Carnival gift card. I had just redeemed one the week before, so I was surprised when I saw another one. Anyway, the coupon had disappeared from my phone. The girl that I spoke with at approximately 1:50 assured me that the coupon WAS on my card although I couldnt see it. I expressed my concern about driving to the store if it wasnt going to work. Again, she assured me that if, for some reason, the coupon didnt come off at the store, I could simply call and they had records of the call, and everything would be taken care of. Well, after driving to the store...guess what. No coupon applied. And, after four phonecalls, and over an hour later, im given 300 fuel points for my trouble. I spent $100 that I would never have spent without the assurance from Kroger that it would be fine. Im not sure what else I could have done to ensure that I was doing everything correctly to the discount. I was told wrong, and I wasted time and money. What a disappointment!

Kroger i'm employed there

Well my name is Daniel Adams and I'm a bagger at the store of Robert Branch park way, but the promblem is that people are not wanting to work there or stay there whole shift is because there is a lady name Jessica don't know her last name but she is very rude to me and other employees and I have even had customer say she have a bad attitude and I try to get them to tell management and Jessica is a supervisor there also and another lady name Chrissy she was rude to me and to others also she use profanity around employees and customers without a Care and today she lied saying I was disrespectful to her cause I said I wanted to go home cause the way Jessica was rude to me, I have told the head manger before about this and they said they was going to take care of it but they still have the same attitude towards there employees. but the main person I have a promblem with is Jessica she is very rude I thought I would never have to go to the higher ups about this I'm currently trying to find another job I didn't want to leave the store it's a great store but when you have people who acts like that you want to leave, but the other managers have good attitudes but I feel like she may have something against me I don't know why she so rude I do my job ever time I come to work I even had other managers say how good of a job I do but she have a promblem with me for no reason .

Kroger purchasing a gift card

On Saturday, May 5, 2018, I always shop at Kroger on Kirby Pkway, as I was
checking out, I wanted to purchase a TJ Maxx gift card with my other groceries and I was writing a check. The cashier told me I could not write a check, when
purchasing a gift card. I want to know when this changed? The week before, April 28, I purchased 2 gift cards, with my groceries, at the same Kroger and I wrote a check and the store accepted it. If I can't include the gift cards with my grocery purchase, with a check, I will NOT be shopping at Kroger anymore. People don't always have cash with them when they want to purchase a gift card. Also, this is in Memphis, Tn.
Thank you,
Theresa Livingston

Kroger customer revive

I was scammed in buying items from Kroger store and I went back to the store to deactivate the card numbers right away as soon as I found out I was scammed by an outsider. Because the Kroger managers were in effective and took their time to help me out, I wasn't able to save my $2000! After two months of follow up with the store, they told me they would have saved some of the left over by contacting Apple if I contacted right away! The sad thing is I did contact them right away. It just took them forever to say that after everything was gone! I never go to Kroger again and I will always be telling how badly they treated me during the sadnest experience in my life!

They just kept telling me to call back and contact the person that was not available at the time ! When I call back, they tell me to try again! When i ask for the person I have been told to contact, there was no such employee! When I get an employee, he asks for information and never replied! They played on me for months like this and they finally told me they can't do anything about it and the fault was all mine after all for not contacting them right away! Smh
They only care about themselves!

Kroger scan bag and go

I have shopped at Kroger as long as Kroger has been in Mt.. Carmel on Cincinnati-Batavia Road - I was very excited when they got Scan-Bag and Go - but I have had trouble with it EVERYTIME I have used it. Today has the last straw - I had all my groceries scanned and bagged - went to the express lane to scan my order into the register and pay for my items and go - when it tells me I have to go to a regular register. I asked the cashier why and she said that it erased my ENITRE order! I now have to go to a regular check out lane - take EVERYTHING out of my bags - and go through the regular process. My bread was put on the BOTTOM of one the bags - and I now have more bags to carry in and it is not organized like I originally had it. The store credited me 5 dollars for my trouble ( That doesn't make up for my inconvenience). I was told that this has happened to others this week - so why isn't Kroger FIXING IT!

I have the same kind of issues with Scan/Bag/Go. Employees don't seem to have any idea why the system fails about half the time. I only use it now when I buy many multiples of say 2 litre cokes as the scanner makes easier than lifting them out of the cart again. Very frustrating.

Kroger cashier scanned his kroger card instead of mine and I handed him mine to scan and it was done on purpose

Customer Service is at an all time low..I start my story off with this due to the experience I had yesterday at the store on 5664 jonesboro rd lake city ga. Now I frequent this store on a regular. Everyone I come in contact with in the store is super helpful and some of them remember me and my son cause he a premmie and always waving anyway this day I was solo and coming to pick up his milk which I order from the pharmacy. Now this should be a no brainer in and out...Nope went to the first register and cashier Chase rang me up scanned my kroger card then was doing some more typing but the two transactions took a total of 10 minutes I felt something strange it normally takes less time than that so I grab my receipt out the car from a previous time and noticed that instead of getting my points chase the cashier put his info in and took my points...now if you check your records I use my points for gas on the regular it helps me out single parent and all every penny counts and I thank kroger for having this program but I didnt get my points Chase stole them from me.So went to customer service to argue my point after waiting 10 more minutes spoke to the young lady at customer service explained what happened and her exact words was "no one knows why chase does what he does"...I'm puzzled at this point like this happened before and guess she thought I was going to walk away ...No No No asked to speak to a Manager who came right away and heard my story and was saying that because it was Wic couldnt do transaction over but offered me a $5 gift card still wasnt satisfied and no one spoke to Chase to disipline him for his actions so I knew I was coming home to write to that of Corp Kroger to let them know whats going on.Now when you look at the receipt that I received from Chase with his card number he has to do this to alot more people .I would like someone to contact me and I know he kept the first transaction receipt but I have the second one. I will wait patiently for your call. Thank You my card number is [protected] 8...Chase number is only the last four listed 4642

Kroger the service I am complaining about is a manager you have working at avon store located at 267 and rockville road

my son recently started a job a month ago, and when i dropped him off at your kroger for the night shift the 5th of may, i overheard him tell a customer to leave the store, then he turned to my son and told him he to go ahead and go home, after listening to my son talk about this manager in earlier weeks and who thinks training employees to stock requires him to throw stuff at the employee when he loses his temper. the managers name is mike norris on the grave yard shift 10-6am. i did as garrett's dad did everything not to confront this manager who is assaulting my son when he wants, either verbally and/or physically.

Kroger food 4 less and ralphs western sunset hollywood

I have a tight budget and learned which items cost less at Food4Less and which items there are higher than Ralphs. Food 4 Less is grungy, and I usually get a cart that makes noise or won't roll smoothly. My messenger bag always stays buckled up in my cart until i take out the reusable bags. Tonight they wanted me to lock it in a locker. That place is too much trouble, I left.

Ralphs staff know me from the past five years. A guard said he'd have to check inside my bag on the way out. No problem. There was a name brand of Raisin Bran that was on sale - 2/$5 $2.50 each said the shelf sticker. I checked closely and got the box from exactly where the sticker was. My usual 2 brands of Almond/Coconut milk were too expensive or out of stock. Had to get a substitute I'm not familiar with.

After the usual long wait at this hour, the cereal scanned at full price even after scanning my club card. i asked for a manager to come look at the sale sticker where i found the cereal, but of course you insist on saving money by making the Managers work on a register. No time to wait for a manager to handle a long line. i left behind the cereal and milk.

This bait and switch where a posted sale price item scans at full price happens a lot. if you don't watch every item as it's scanned you end up at home later finding out you paid way too much or something scanned isn't in the bag, etc.

So two bad experiences in one night and i didn't get most of what i needed.

when i tried to fill out the satisfaction survey it said be as specific as possible then kept telling me to shorten it until it timed out. another hour wasted.

Kroger front end

Many of the front end cashiers sometimes never greet anyone or say hello or goodbye or have a nice night and I wish they would. Then then there is the front end self service machines, Uscan machines, self checkout, whatever you want to call it. There is one particular person that really just irked my nerves and made me so mad. I understand the day I came in may have been a busy afternoon but if you are assigned a job to stay at the self check out machines by the drug/Gm department then you need to stay there and watch it and be attentive at all times. This day I came in, I decided to go through the store's drug/ Gm self checkout side instead of the one by customer service, and I happen to be buying razors that day as well. Well I had to get them out of the security box. Well the girl, Akayla, was supposed to be watching this area and was not anywhere near it. I found out more about this situation and who she was once I got a job there and found out she is always like that, not doing her job, not paying attention, going in other departments and leaving her area and not watching the machines and attending the customers in a timely manner. Back to me checking out, I of course got a security check due to the razors. So I looked around and no one was around. Then a woman behind me had to be cleared for another item. After looking around for a few minutes, I finally took it upon myself to ask a cashier to come help or find someone who can. As I was speaking to the cashier, the girl, Akayla- long brown hair, big brown bug eyes, works front end, high school student- finally appeared by my machine where I was trying to check out. I was like, "oh okay. She's back." Well I assume she heard me complain to the cashier because she proceeded to not greet me, not say a word to me, not apologize for my inconvenience, not say sorry, not even be polite in any body language I observed. She cleared the security and proceeded walk off to a group of people (probably talking about me to them) to remove my razor from the security box. Then I thought well maybe now she will say something like apologize then and say, "have a good day ma'am" or "thank you for your patience, " but there again, nothing; no positive body language, no greeting, nothing. It absolutely made me not want to go back in there if she was there in the area. Now, with a job in the same store, in Grovetown, today she left the self checkout machines again and proceeded to come into the apparel department, where I work, and come into the fitting room area and dance around and sit around in there for a minute or two. It immediately hit a nerve because someone could have walked out with products, stole them and it would be on her. We would lose revenue. I hope she changes her behavior but I needed to file a complaint. I don't want her to be rude to anyone else or make the company lose any revenue due to her lack of ability to do her job correctly and timely.

Kroger employee

Let me share my experience at this Kroger Gas station, I stopped Monday around 11am to get gas at the station on New Circle Road, Its Kroger Gas Station for Store 1650 Bryan Station Rd, Store Number 359 I believe, Lexington, KY.

So after running my Discover it said (SEE CASHIER) I really did not think anything of it because of the chip reader it does that sometimes.I walked to the window and told the cashier that the pump told me to see cashier.

So let me explain all of this so you understand.I'm a white female, and the man working there is a African American. This should not make any difference but unfortunately I believe the bullying and treatment I received next was either because of My Race, Age, gender, or the fact I'm handicapped, whatever the reason Its not alright.

No one likes to be discriminated against for whatever the reason.Let me explain that I was parked in sight of the workers window, I would say his name but He either didn't have a name tag on or it was turned around.

I explained that it said see cashier at that point I thought he would just ring it up for me.However he told me to go back to the car it would work now?
So I asked can't you do it for me from here since I had to walk up here, I explained im in a lot of pain and don't want to have to walk back and forth in-case it does not work.He said if you want me to help you, you have to get your pump number.

I explained I was not from Lexington and I really didn't know how the numbers worked on the pumps, so I pointed at my truck and said its that truck there, He said I don't know the numbers on the pumps you will have to walk out there and get it.I said you don't know the numbers and you work here?He said No I don't know the numbers, I said how long have you worked here?

He said 15 years! So at that point I knew he was bullying me, I asked if he did not like white people? At that point he started screaming, you have to leave here, I won't sell you any gas and Im done with you, because you said a racial slur? I'm like what? What is the slur? So he kept hollering at me over and over it was horrible, I had explained to him I was really in a lot of pain but he still would not help me. He discriminated against me either because of my race, weight, gender, or the fact I'm handicapped.I don't care why I want an apology. The Manager and his Name was Kelly, finally came down and I explained what happened.I got no apology from him either, he was not even going to give me the gas until I explained another customer had taped the entire conversation on his phone and stopped me out back when I was leaving to tell he me taped it and in his words the cashier was (Hatin on me). The manager let me know that this guy worked everyday and that there were plenty of other Kroger's where I could get my gas ! So was that a ok that the worker could discriminate against me?Bully me just because there was something he didn't like about me? So folks if you go there remember you could get that same treatment and it was really bad.
I told the worker I was on medication and my blood pressure was going horribly up because the way he was treating me but he still kept screaming at me.
I'm still upset and sick and it was two days ago.So proceed with caution when going there for gas. After I got home, I started thinking about him telling me go back to my car it would work now?I'm not near done with this yet, I don't think the worker or the manager should get by with this kind of treatment of any customers.

Kroger fry's self check out lines at 3616 e. ray rd. phoenix, az 85044

I am a regular customer at Fry's at 3616 E. Ray Rd. in Phoenix, AZ 85044. This is a very uscale neighborhood where there are 12 self check out lines and 4 rows where a cashier can ring up our groceries. There are too many self check out lines and not enough cashiers doing the work for us. NOBODY WANTS TO RING UP THEIR OWN GROCERIES! THIS IS A STUPID STORE WITH TOO MANY SELF CHECK OUTS! I am considering switching to Safeway so I don't have to work at Fry's to have groceries. The staff in the store hates all the complaints from customers and they also hate the self check out lines too! In this store, you have people in uniform simply watching customers ringing up and bagging their own groceries. I hate all the overly numerous self check out lines and I wish you would stop trying to turn my favorite grocery store in to a convenience store! Resentfully yours, Derek Beach [protected]

Ron from Kroger Corporate just called to hear me out. When he thought he put me on hold, i heard him talking to “Samantha, ” calling me a ‘whiny little [censored]” and that they could “buy me off with a $100 gift card.” Then Samantha came back on the line and was so rude the call ended in negative profanity from both of us.
Basically Ron told me that “Kroger plans to replace most humans in grocery stores except for security guards and a manager. Automating everything, eliminating the need for so many human employees and the costs that come with them.” Was this real?

Kroger charges more than sale price advertised

This Kroger store does not give 10% discount when using my Kroger card on Kroger brands as always has been at all other Kroger stores. sale prices on items are being charged more than advertised prices in weekly fliers in the newspapers this is false advertising. I have shopped at Kroger for the last 10 years and have recently moved in this area. Very diappointed in this store and its personnel for lack of knowledge of Kroger ads.

Kroger complaint about employee

There was an employee stocking Kroger bottled water, which I was trying to get. He was blocking the entire aisle during a very busy time. There were many people trying to get over there to get the water. I tried to make eye contact, but he must not have seen me. He finally grabbed my arm and pulled me through this little opening he'd created. It was beyond embarrassing and I can't believe he grabbed me and told me to walk slowly through the little area. It was beyond humiliating. Then he said, well, what did you want? He was clearly frustrated with me. Another employee came up and asked if there was anything that he could help me with. At this point there were many people watching this spectical. I just had to shake my head and walk away. If you could please train your staff to be more curteous and to not grab customers, that'd be appreciated.

Thank you,

Hannah Harmon

Kroger the store in general

On April 12th my daughters and I went into a Kroger store in downtown Savannah. This was the dirtiest most disgusting store I have ever been in. We live in a small Oregon town with a Fred Meyer store recently taken over by Kroger. My daughter is assistant manager of this store. Her comment was, "I'd lose my job if our store looked like this". My hope is that this is not the norm for Kroger stores and that our store will not eventually look like the one in Savannah.
I am shocked that you would allow a store in such a beautiful destination tourist city to fall into such shocking filth.
I hope my letter brings this to your attention so the problem can be remedied.

Kroger my complaint is about how the management of this store won't listen to valuable ideas from maintenance employee associate

Hello, I have been employed by KingSoopers in Bennett Colorado for 9 month's Now, I started out in the deli, then moved to the " So Called Maintenance Associate Position" In effort's to apply my long time experience in the cleaning industry to help this store upgrade it's cleanliness in all departs and show that I would go beyond the managments expectations as not just another assocate fronted clerk, whom bag's Or chases buggies, I was offered this position because I have 38 year's of experience in the cleaning industry for Industrial, Commercial & Residential Cleaning Services, I had my Owen cleaning company year's ago to whom some were substateal cliental contracts here in the Denver and surrounding areas, I wanted to give more then just the standard of frontend associate clerk / bigger / buggies chaser, I tried to tell the head management about my background of my expert experience in the cleaning industry and was ecnored several times past by like a story teller telling great yarn's or something, it makes me very frustrated and angry, only because I could really help get this store into much better shape as far as cleanliness is considered, several thing's I have observed leave me very puzzled by their way of maintaining all departments need's when no one associate that takes over my job while I am on my day's off or before an after my shifts, one thing is very clear my fellow associates that do the cleaning duties in my place, are not as experienced as I am when it comes to general janitorial cleaning, not saying that they don't try, but it's really not their job, they are frontend clerk's most of the time, my so called supervisor I'll call her L, has a superior attitude like I am an idiot and just another person to boss around, she shows no compassion or respect toward me, Only contempt, she changes my schedule for word consistently when she told me I have enough seniority to pick my hour's of work and day's off but that these time's of schedule are subject to change for convenience, BUT when my schedule has been changed She dose not inform me of that change, like the day before my day's off from work I will get a call from someone else asking if I'm coming to work when it's either my scheduled day off or the day I go back to work I get a call from her or another headclerk asking why I am not there Right Now! So I have to resort to rushing to get to work with no regard to my So Called Seniority of the hour's I have picked out to work, no heads up no compassion, it's I better show up to do my job or I'll be canned, WTF ! I work hard at this store there's Alot to clean and only so many hour's to it in, I like my job BUT it's bringing me down down health wise when my schedule is being changed constantly like A yoyo, I have talent and know more then most of the management about my experience, I even received employee of the month for March 2018 for all of my hard work an effort being dedicated to my work ethic, recently I was told just yesterday that this last month the inspector general from corporate gave this store an not so good report of cleanliness I was floored, it shocked me, I asked why ? Another supervisor of mine said that thing's weren't get done in certain departments, so the store got a bad review, that someone wasn't doing the duties on the store list of things to be cleaned that it seemed everyone was just marking their initials down without completing the tasks, I know I do my job well an have been told by management that they love my work there, so like I mentioned earlier other associates that do not normally do my kind of cleaning should not be doing it, and I wish that when the inspector comes to the store I could be involved with what needs to be improved on or caught up on maybe even give my a better chance in title to hire new associates that have the appropriate experience in the maintenance field, then this store would see a better improment plus good reports from the corporate inspector, I like to teach others to clean for better efficiency so the job is easier for everyone involved, better scheduling, better assignments of duties to cleaning personal, A happy cleaning associate is a happy store, this store need's a new way of installing education to it's cleaning staff member's in each department delegate one person to do the vital daily duties of cleaning and waste removal, team work between management & cleaning associates and / or Make A Separate Department Of Maintenance/ Janitorial Associate Position, that helps make decisions with management and corporate inspector for the store's needs of materials and cleaning make up, It would be so more efficient with this kind of inclusion between management And I, this is my complaint,
Sincerely K.R.S.

Kroger insect/fly in prepackaged ready made salad

Today, Sunday April 29 at approximately 1345hrs (1:45pm) I purchased a ready made Chef Salad from the Loganville, Georgia store (910 Athens Highway). About 4 bites in consuming the salad I noticed a "baby" insect on the cucumber. As I looked closer I noticed it was a "baby" fly. Immediately disgusted and sickened I no longer ate the salad but covered it and didn't know how to move forward. I'm disgusted not only at the thought that a bug was in my food bit a baby fly. If this is a an infant fly that means maggots had to have morphed in close vacinity or even in the food itself. As a frequent Kroger shopper along with family friends in this area. I normally prepare my salads at home but decided this day to purchase one from this store. I can not fathom the thought as a person in hospitality for my client to experience a nasty vile insect in their food. Thinking of the life cycle of a fly is unbearable and to think I may already consumed another or a maggot have laid in some part of this salad. I will promise you (upper mgt) I will NEVER stop at Kroger again. You have lost a valued customer. If it's not caught in the process of prepackaged lettuce/salad then I could imagine what the meat or store brand veggies are packaged. Please contact me so we can remedy this concern as soon as possible.

Kroger self checkout machines

I just went into a Kroger on south hairston in stone mountain, Ga and used the self checkout machine due to no open lines. The machine gave my receipt but no cash back that I had asked for. It asked me to take my receipt and my items. I went back 15 seconds after realizing I didn't get my money because it didn't give it to me. I asked the lady if my change came out because it didn't give it to me when I was inside. She said no so I asked the manager on duty Jeffrey and he said no come back tomorrow so I caught the head manager trying to leave I told her what happened what the money was for. Ms. Denise immidately got rude and belligerent as if I bothered her and said no you won't get your money back cause you left the store and left me there in the parking lot. That money was to feed my family but if that is your policy I'll never shop in Kroger again. I even brought in my receipt.

Kroger service complaint

I was at store at 4506 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights and My cashier was Toby. He was extremely rude. Did not greet me or even looked at me. Threw my cases of water busting some out of the case. Then when he couldn't get my bananas to scan was trying to smash to barcode down on the scanner and then threw them down the line after they scan. He tossed just about every bit of my order down the line after he scanned it. I have never had such a rude experience with one of your employees. I shop Krogers all over the area. This is the first and last time I will shop at this one.

Kroger dear co-workers of kroger, and all upper management,

Dear co-workers of kroger, and all upper management,

As some of you know, I have turned in my keys and shirts. But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to type "today is my last day."

For nearly 2 years now, i've hoped that I might one day leave this job. And now that this dream has become a reality, please know that I could not have reached this goal without your unending lack of support. Words cannot express my gratitude for the words of gratitude you did not express.

I have never left an employer like I did kroger but then again I have never worked for a place that treats their employees as if they do not deserve common courtesy and respect.

I would especially like to thank management: in an age where miscommunication is all too common, you consistently impressed and inspired me with the sheer magnitude of your misinformation, ignorance and intolerance.
Over the past 4 years, you have taught me more than I could ever ask for and, in most cases, ever did ask for. You have given me the chance to work with some absolutely interchangeable managers on a wide variety of seemingly identical projects - an invaluable lesson in enforcing random arbitrary new rules on a nearly weekly basis.

To all of the management members of kroger. Despite working with people that practiced deceptive behavior, backstabbing, incompetence and disrespect, I have benefited tremendously by working with you and I truly thank you for that. Your demands were high and your patience short. I learned that there are actually management members who think it is ok for customers to curse and threaten employees and to not only be rewarded for that behavior, but to be apologized to by the poor employee just trying to do their job. That only encourages the behavior continue. Here is a perfect example of the lack of spine I have encountered in your management staff:

Customer: why can't you take these 8 cans of infant formula? What if I did have a receipt?
Employee: because we have been instructed that we are not allowed to take back infant formula regardless of whether you have a receipt or not.
Customer : I want to speak to the manager.
Employee: pages mr. Brennan. Repeatedly while the customer continues to throw a temper tantrum
Customer: I gonna come over this f'ing counter and whip your fat f'ing [censored]!
Customer continues repeating the same thing over and over. Employee keeps repeating "stop speaking to me, my manager is coming" finally another person on the only open check-lane has to stop waiting on the customers to bring the manager up.
So called manager hears the lady cursing and screaming at the employee. Briefly speaks to the customer and turns to the employee and says "diana i'm going to ask you to apologize to her and give her a gift card"
Seriously? What kind of management member does such a thing?
For the record I refused to apologize even after being told to do so a second time.
He then had another employee apologize to her and give her a gift card.
How much more clear can it be that the people representing management have no regard for the employees?

There was once a time where hard work was rewarded and acknowledged, it's a pity that all positive output now falls on deaf ears and passes blind eyes. My advice for you is to place yourself closer to the pulse of this company, actually spend some time in stores, not in a walk through or audit, they scramble and spend countless overtime hours when there is a group of "suits" coming. If they gave us the tools we need on a daily basis everyone wouldn't be panicking when company is expected because the store would always be acceptable, not just when managers are scared. Care a little more and see the effort and dedication. Maybe then you will be able to achieve far less turnover and happier, competent employees. After all, with your many decades worth of combined work experience should have taught you that happy employees are productive employees.
So, in parting, if I could pass on any word of advice to the lower salary recipient who will soon be filling my position, it would be to cherish this experience because a job opportunity like this comes along only once in a lifetime!

Meaning: if I had to work here again in this lifetime, I would sooner [censored].
