I got a Shake n Bake original chicken product and it says that there are 2 seasoning pouches in the box I had just opened the box and there was only 1 in there I had 15 drumsticks to feed a family of 5 with 1 seasoning packet nope it didn't workout. When you buy something you expect the whole product to be there and it to taste good. Please help me..
Strike on kraft! I am tired of companies trying to change the world by unnecessary means! Then you jack up the prices $3? I will never buy anything made by kraft or Heinz again. This is the beginning of your downfall. I'll make sure of it. History in the making smugs!
OMG! You sure had me fooled! I stop buying your product as soon as you elimated the bags for shaking the meat. You got so many compliments so you were so deceiving in the advertising on the front of the box.. I happened to need another brand of shake and bake and I noticed you added on you box in big print 2 pouches for 2 meals. I was excited so I bought 4 (2) chicken and (2) pork. I just opened it and guess what? No freaking bags. So I looked at the box again and it stated no shaker bags for less plastic packaging. You informed me to put in a container with a lid and shake it. Guess what it didn't work. the ones that I bought before with no bags I had to use my one gallon bags that are expensive. You are so deceiful! I will never buy your product again and shame on you. ALso, you raised the prices. How can a company like you be so [censored]ty? And I am not the first one nor will I be the Last. I will post this everywhere I can.

They stopped putting the shaker bags in November 2022. I will never buy that product again. They removed the bags and raised the price. Ridiculous!
Have you stopped putting the shaker bags in the boxes? This is the 3rd box in two months without the bags😒
I bought 4 boxes ( 2 bbq and 2 original) I opened the boxes to find that there was no shaker bags inside 3 of the four boxes, this has happened on several occasions, and i've had to use my freezer storage bags instead. This has happened more than once.
With the already outrageous price of Shake N Bake, coupled with the false advertising of shaker bags included, my advice is this: If you can, purchase pre-seasoned meat products from places like Costco. Quality meat and already seasoned, more than likely cheaper than using this product. I'm not saying boycott, just stop being duped by Kraft and their deceptive practices.
Hello just got a box of shake and bake which I enjoy for many many years but I discovered there were no bags after going to your website I see that you've stopped putting in the bags to save over 900,000 pounds a plastic waste well I think that's very admirable and thank you for doing what you need to do to save our planet however you still have it on the box saying two pouches and two bags for two meals just thought maybe you should change the wordage on the box thank you

Yup. Very deceptive advertising by the company. The bags were included since 1965. They removed the bags and raised the price but didn't change the packaging.
Now they are creating more plastic waste... Because instead of using those thin lightweight plastic shaker bags...I am using heavy freezer bags ...LMAO Craft... your doing more harm than good...
Just because you aren't supplying. them... You are causing 2-3 times the plastic waste...

I bought shake n Bake yesterday and opened up an no bags now it's supposed to have bags in the box it's expensive 4.99 a box and no bags you can't shake if there's no bag's upc [protected] date is Nov 10th 2024 code DB01 BOUGHT AT KROGER IN ESSEXVILLE MICHIGAN

yet the packaging still says bags included!
Since Kraft/Heinz have permanently removed the shaker bags from their Shake N' Bake product in November 2022, then in the real world it is actually no longer Shake N' Bake! The packaging is now very DECEPTIVE since it doesn't say that the plastic shaker bags (that were included in the box since 1965) are no longer in the box. The cost of the product which is quite high, about $4.49 or so depending on where you purchase it, for basically two small paper bags with a couple of ounces of bread crumbs...that is it! The high cost of the product in the past was semi justified because of the convenience factor (plastic shaker bags included in the box), which is now gone! You can but a large container of 15 oz. of seasoned bread crumbs for $1.49, and a box of 25 quart sandwich bags for $1.89. Why on earth would anyone on planet earth knowing that shaker bags are not included anymore purchase Shake N' Bake from this day on? Why, because they are magic bread crumbs?!
I have stopped buying shake and bake. The last 3 packages had no bag. What pisses me off is the price has more than doubled, the amount of seasoning is smaller, their directions are wrong as I can only use two breasts per packet and two pork chops and it barely covers them. AND then I have to use my own zipper gallon bags which those prices have gone up too! So they have lost me has a customer and I won't buy anything from general mills again.

I am so annoyed with companies nickle and diming the consumer. Not only did the price go up for Shake N Bake, but I opened the box to find no bags! Now it's no longer "Shake N Bake"; it's just "Bake". In this turbulent economy it's a no-brainer and easy decision to cut overpriced breadcrumbs from my shopping list.
NO MORE BAGS!? I don't think you can call it Shake N Bake anymore. There is nothing to shake! This is nothing more than a greedy move for more profits. What I am I to shake it in, the stupid box? This is a big fail.
I have gotten a few boxes in the past couple months. First box had only one bag, when it should be 2! And tonight I opened both boxes I had left, and NO bags! I had to resort to ziplock bags!
Yeah, If you're doing this in an effort to reduce waste why didn't you change anything about the product other than just removing the 2 bags, you dont imply on the box that it doesnt come with a bag anymore, yet still charge the same amount and tell us to use the bag on the bag to shake the product lol what a joke... give us a paper bag or something!
I am ever so disappointed. Same here with no bags or deformed bags. No quality control does not surprise me. Poured product into bag and it came out the other side! Other bags were just sealed on both ends! We do like Shake and Bake, however, when we saw the "HEINZ" we decided to never purchase again! Same as "HEINZ" KETCHUP, only using "HUNTS" KETCHUP! THANKS, HEINZ AND KERRY. NOT FOR US, IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!
Ridiculous that no bags are provided any more. For sustainability? Your not saving anything as most people will use some bag anyways, like zip locks. Only difference is source of bag is not from you. There is still gonna be that waste from purchase of your product. It's not a win for you and sustainability no matter which way you look at it. The people supporting and cheering this move by you most likely don't eat chicken and eat plant based meats which are wrapped in plastic. The irony.
I agree and why is the price the same for them still now with no bag. I will not buy them anymore.
we have used shake and bake for years and years . loading this product in an empty box is unsanitary, my entire family and all of our friends will never use your products again i know corporate greed it hose cheap s uncontrolled your company and many others are treating their consumers like animals . the cost of those bags are pennys how much does kraft need. All your products , send all to 3rd word country's they deserve them. Our nation built kraft and its other products have been reduced in sixe but raised in price, we as AMERICAN CITIZENS are disgusted with you. we are contacting the F.D.A. AND DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO CHECK THE BACTERIA COUNT YOU MOST LIKELY IRRIDATE IT BUT OUR NATION HGAS HAD ENOUGH. And I thought I was the only one. I guess not! When I opened a box of Shake and Bake for Pork to make dinner last night, I was dismayed to find no bags in there. Now I see from other comments here that Kraft is no longer providing the bags. What a disappointment! One of the reasons everyone buys this product is the ease of making dinner. Not so anymore.
Btw the bags were never really big enough anyway. I just used ziplock bag or empty bread bag
Not so much a complaint as a suggestion. Seeing you did away with the shaker bags why not save even more money by just selling shake and bake in printed pouches like muffin mixes instead of boxes thus encouraging more sustainability

No plastic bags in my last 3 shakeN bake pork and chicken boxes.I had to use one of my freezer bags each time. The box does state in the directions to use the shaker bag. Prior to no bags in the box, one box had defect plastic bags that I couldn’t use. I have been using this product for years. Is their a problem with the supply chain to get the plastic bags?
They apparently got rid of the shaker bags to help with "sustainability." So...charge us MORE for less product and no bags and force us to use bags anyway? That...makes zero sense. And the instructions still state to use the shaker bag. Go figure.
Another "sustainability" idea ...is to package the crumb coating like Knorr or McCormick and sell them at a FRACTION of the cost!
I guess they think we're stupid...

We had a total of 4 shake n bake boxes bought at various times. Tonight we opened 2 boxes (bbq and extra crispy) only to discover no shaker bags. Out of curiosity I opened the other boxes up and no bags in those either. I would figure human error for one box, but all the boxes? What's going on Kraft Heinz?
This is the 3rd box of Shake n' Bake that has come with zero bags in it! First 2 were extra crispy and the last one I bought a 4 pack and it also had no bags. If they have started omitting the bags from the boxes, they should rename the product. I hate wasting my freezer bags to shake my chicken in.
The last 3 boxes of chicken extra crispy didn’t come with bags and one of the bbq ones came with one bag but was opened all the way threw I don’t know what is happening with your product lately

Another unhappy customer. Seems like having only one bag in the box is an ongoing problem. Would hate to stop buying this product.
Open the box of shake and bake tonight for dinner there was two packets a seasoning and there were four bags okay not a problem I thought I looked at the first bag I pulled out and it was sealed on both ends no way to open it. The second two bags were sealed in the middle grab the forest bag and it had an opening so I figured I would use that knowing that I would need both packets of seasoning for my chicken poured 1 in and it immediately spilled onto my kitchen floor open because both sides were open
We open the box of shake and bake tonight and it didn't have any bags in it at all just the seasoning I think this is a horrible reflection on the company itself
We use this quite often and were disappointed with our last purchase. Each box had two pouches but one pouch in each box was cut open. There was no cut in the box but was an obvious cut in each packet. So we spent twice as much as normal per meal due to only being able to only use one packet.
We normally keep this product on hand all the time. The last time we bought it each box had 2 packets but one in each box was sliced open. No cut in the box but an obvious cut in the individual packets. So basically it cost us twice as much to use than normal.
I opened this pouch of shake and bake and to my horror, there was a webbing all through the seasoning pouch and a worm was crawling all around.

Been buying this shake and bake for years and I was shocked. What else is wrong with your product? I will think twice before buying again
