Vacation rental company won't give me my money back for a trip I couldn't take because of a state order
Vacation rental company won't give me my money back for a trip I couldn't take because of a state order. I booked a trip to stay at Kimberly Lang Rental property (XXXXXXX) from April 5th to April 9th; *** Reservation ID XXXXXXXX. There was an order that said no flights were allowed into Florida. When I contacted the company, they said they couldn't give me a refund but I could reschedule within 3 years or try my travel insurance. The insurance denied my claim and told me to talk to Kimberly Lang again. Now, when I'm trying to reschedule using my credit, they won't honor the original amount I paid. They want me to pay the full amount and then they'll think about using my credit for the rental. This feels like fraud to me because they charged me for something I never got. I'm asking for my money back, but there's nobody in the office to make that decision right now. They're out of business and I don't know when they'll be back.
