Dear Customer Service Team,
I am writing to express my concern about an upsetting experience my son and daughter recently had at your location in the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown, NY.
My son was looking for a watch and approached one of your representatives, an elderly white woman, for assistance. Instead of providing helpful and respectful customer service, she made a comment to my son along the lines of, “If you can’t afford it, we can use a credit card.”
I find this comment extremely inappropriate, disrespectful, and insulting. My children went into your store as customers expecting to be treated with courtesy and dignity. No customer should be made to feel judged or embarrassed based on assumptions about their ability to afford a product.
I would appreciate it if you would look into this incident and address the employee’s behavior appropriately. I would also like to know what steps will be taken to ensure that other customers, especially young people, are treated with the same level of respect and professionalism that they deserve.
I hope you take this complaint seriously. I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
angelina martinez

Desired outcome: not sure how you fix this situation but you should not have people working for your organization who come off the way she did. I have been in your store many times and she is very rude
