Moved from Gatineau to Central BC, which was a long way - 4236kms. But John Gray Moving & Storage made it happen without any problems. Loading was done on time and with lots of energy. Delivery was even ahead of schedule, which was great. There was a small issue with the local unload crew leaving because of the long weekend, but *** just kept working by himself and got it done. We found someone else to help with the rest of the unloading, but it wasn't a big deal. We really appreciated the way *** managed everything - no drama, just steady work and he overcame any obstacles. He's a true pro. Overall, we give John Gray Moving & Storage a solid 10 out of 10 with no reservations or comments.

We had a big move from Ottawa to Vancouver. We had a fully furnished three-bedroom apartment with lots of fragile stuff and a big car. We didn't have a place to live in Vancouver, so we had to store our things for two months. We also had two plants that were important to us. John Gray Moving & Storage was the best team we could have asked for! Even though the main office is in Montreal, *** came to Ottawa himself to make sure everything was going well. The movers were really helpful, professional, and organized. They took great care to make sure everything was okay and nothing got damaged. The team that delivered our stuff was just as good. Our new apartment in Vancouver had strict rules about moving, but the movers did their best to follow them. They were outstanding and very professional. When we got our stuff, nothing was missing or damaged, not even our plants! Moving companies usually don't help with plants, but *** did it for us out of kindness. We're really grateful for that. Shipping the car was easy too. We could track it and plan ahead. The car wasn't damaged at all. I would definitely recommend John Gray Moving & Storage for complicated moves. John Gray Moving & Storage, Dorval, Quebec did a move for me from Ottawa to Saskatoon on September 28. They put my stuff in their storage facility in Dorval without my permission and charged me for it. I didn't agree to pay for storage, so they held my stuff until we could sort it out. My stuff arrived in Saskatoon on October 26, and it was damaged. I told John Gray Moving & Storage right away, and they saw the damage too. I filed a claim with *** and sent pictures of the damage. A *** adjuster was assigned on November 12, and they made an offer of $2630 on March 12. I countered with $4000, but they only sent me a check for $1879 on May 3. That's not enough to replace my custom framing and restore my art and furniture. I told the adjuster, but they didn't do anything. I also told John Gray Moving & Storage on October 8, but they didn't reply. I told the head of claims, ***, on November 15, but it's still not resolved. I've moved a lot, but I've never had such bad customer service and communication. When I hired John Gray Moving & Storage, I told them their moving team had to wear masks in the building and my condo. The person in charge of the move refused to wear a mask, even though it was mandatory because of Covid. John Gray Moving & Storage knew about the rules, but they sent someone who wouldn't follow them. If you want a mover who will respect your stuff and follow the contract, don't use John Gray Moving & Storage.

We used this company for our local move from ***. Downsizing from a huge 6 bedroom home to a city townhouse was stressful for us and The John Grey Moving team was nothing but Professional from start to finish. They took great care of our belongings and inquired with us if they were not sure where to place each piece in our new home. I moved from *** for work right when Covid-19 ramped up. The staff were safe and efficient when loading my belongings. While on the road, they kept in touch which helped alleviate stress from moving under unusual circumstances. Upon arrival, their staff was courteous, safe and respectful of my space and were friendly despite the hardships of being on the road during the pandemic. Staff were helpful from the time of the quote all the way to delivery. My belongings arrived in a timely manner with no damage. I would absolutely recommend John Gray Moving

My best moving experience ever. We moved across Canada, from Ottawa Ontario to Victoria BC. The rates were competitive, and the people were pleasant to deal with. The loading crew packed all of our items with great care (original art work, statues, etc) and nothing was broken or lost. They were very professional and took their jobs seriously (not just a bunch of temp workers). The destination crew was punctual and put together all of our items. They also returned two days later to pick up all of the boxes for free, because we unpacked ourselves. Overall great set of companies to work with ***), well worth it.

I got these guys to move my stuff from Ontario to *** and they said they'd keep it safe while I found a new place. I hit them up on July 31st to let them know I found a spot and I'd be ready to move in on August 22nd. But now I'm trying to get a delivery date from them and they ain't answering my emails or voicemails. I need to know when my stuff is coming ASAP 'cause I'm paying to stay somewhere else and I can't move in without my things.

John Gray Moving & Storage was supposed to pack, store and move our stuff from Brockville, Ontario to Cowansville, Quebec. They came to pack on September 20 and picked up our things on September 21. They put our stuff in storage until November 16th when they finally delivered it. But when we got our stuff, we saw that a lot of our furniture and personal things were messed up. Plus, the moving truck leaked oil on our neighbor's brick driveway. We tried to get in touch with John Gray Moving & Storage to ask what happened and say sorry, but they didn't answer our emails or calls. We asked for a claim form from ***, which we paid for to cover damages. But after a long time, they said they wouldn't cover the damages and we had to file a claim with John Gray Moving & Storage. But they still won't answer our calls or emails. We want them to say sorry and pay us back like we asked in our claim with ***.
