Hi, We moved from Barrie to Stephenville in very difficult circumstances. Your company was absolutely fantastic. You made moving during a very stressful situation as easy as possible. Everyone was incredibly helpful. The excellent service is greatly appreciated.

I booked my move months in advance. Last minute they called with "mechanical issues" and over booking. I was pushed to the curb, had to spend almost $1000 extra dollars for a storage bin, placed in my neighbours driveway. The contractor keeps telling me about delays, but only when I call them! Not once have they called me when promised! Only with excuses at 7:30am... My advice, NEVER EVER call this company to move ***! They have been *** me around for 2 weeks, after being booked for 3 effing months! I had to make all the effort, this is not what I am paying for! Apparently their motto is "***, with a smile!" rather than "service *** with a smile." Ask anyone, I am the nicest guy in the world. For me to get this angry, takes a hell of a lot! ***, must stand for *** Luck ***! ... No stars!

When I booked the move with Pat from Goulds, NL to move my belongings from NL to Ontario, he was great to do the booking and take my downpayment. I did not know I had to deal with another company, Collins - Mehling Transfer Ltd until I received a bill from them. I received my items in less time than the 2 - 3 weeks Pat originally advised. My move cost $1500 or more over the quote Pat gave me. When my belongings got to Ontario, there was items broken or missing. When I contacted Pat through a friendly email to advise of this, he was instantly rude and kind of in attack mode, basically telling me too bad. I would have at least expected an apology that after spending $5000 which was way too high for the amount of stuff I moved. I now have to spend a few hundred dollars to replace the items. That's something that happens when a friend movers you for free, not from a moving company that advertises themselves as responsible. I definitely would not recommend this company. Poor service and a bad attitude from the broker Pat.

I used TLC to move some of my mom's furniture from Barrie Ontario to Vancouver, in September. My sister and I were very pleased with TLC and this move. The items arrived in Vancouver safely and in a reasonable time. My sister showed up with a Dodge Caravan (seats removed) to load most of the items in, and the movers, including a guy named PK, thought there was no way she could put all the items in her vehicle. She started, and when they saw how earnest she was, they refused to leave until they assisted to provide some extra expertise to help her get everything in her vehicle including 8 dining room chairs. We were very appreciative! Even better, your price was very good. We are aware that we were only moving a small amount, but it was across the country. All other companies either had a much higher price (with reputable companies) or a lower price but we didn't trust them given the poor ratings we found on the internet. Thank you so much to TLC as this was a stressful process and we were relieved to receive these items in good condition. Thank you.

My moving experience with TLC Movers was pleasant and everything went smoothly. I moved from Charlottetown PEI to Surrey BC, which is a long distance. It was my first time using a moving service in Canada. I was reassured after our conversation and I got a very clear and reasonable quotation. According to my requirement, you scheduled the picking up date. On the picking up day, the depatcher arrived on time. They packaged everything carefully and professionally. They stuck the labels on every item, which is very helpful for you and me to count everything. Then you gave me the exact weight of my stuff. It was close to the assessed weight in the quotation. During the moving process, I got the following information from you so that I could know where my stuff was. I was informed about the drop off date around 5 days before. And my stuff arrived on time on that day. Moving people was professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was missing or damaged. Everything was perfect. I really appreciate your help. I will use your service for sure if I move next time. And I will highly recommend you to my friend.

It is my pleasure to provide this Testimony for ***/ TLC Movers: Our family moved from Hamilton Ontario to Halifax Nova Scotia in November . I first contacted *** in September. He instantly provided documentation about TLC Movers and took quite a bit of time explaining the background of the company. I felt reassured by ***'s friendly and helpful demeanour that these movers would be honest and trustworthy. At that time, *** asked me "what is your biggest worry about the move?" and I replied that I was concerned about the movers adding on charges after the fact: because I had read about this happening. *** reassured me that all items would be weighed and itemized prior to the movers leaving with our goods and we would know exactly what all costs would be. In addition to our move being a large household one; we also had a 5-day period where we required storage. This move took place during the height of COVID lockdown and a mad rush of folks from moving to Nova Scotia. *** was accessible, friendly, and reliable. The movers showed up to do an onsite estimate and then on move day: the crew showed up. They were great! They worked quickly, made it kind of fun and were careful with our things. One of the best parts of our move was the fact that the same crew showed up in our new home. They knew we would be without our goods for one day in our new home and even managed to arrive early and set us up with our beds (they came the evening before they had to). I believe they had completed a move in Yarmouth and then drove all the way to our new place to set us up. They were fantastic. No goods were damaged; all items were stored in each room as desired, and they stayed to set up our beds. They were courteous and worked quickly. We were really pleased with the entire experience. I have recently called *** again for a smaller move and even though this second request is a tricky one: he has been able to help us out once again at a time when very few movers are available. *** remembered me from last year and said, " I said I'd take care of you, and I will once again" and then he laughed. This is the kind of service one can hope for when doing a large or small move. I highly recommend TLC movers and ***. Thank you!
